Left side of slide is stamped "P.38" follo...morewed by Mauser's manufacturer code and the year of manufacture "byf/ 44", and the serial number, with an Eagle/WaA135 waffenamt on either side of an eagle firing proof on the right side of the slide. Metal components exhibit a blued finish, with the frame being mounted with 2 piece brown pressed resin grips. All numbers are matching and include the frame, slide, barrel, and locking block. MAGS: 1 8 rnd. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original arsenal blue finish, exhibiting some mild wear and thinning, with some scattered areas of light pitting overall. Brilliant mirror bore, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Grips show some scattered marks from handling and storage, but are otherwise very good overall. The left side of ...morethe slide is marked "P.38" followed by the S# and "ac 44" code, with an Eagle/359 on either side of an eagle firing proof on the right. Rare dual tone finish featuring a phosphate finished frame, with blued slide, bbl. and small parts. Frame is mounted with 2 piece grooved brown pressed resin grips. All numbers are matching and include the frame, slide, bbl., and locking block. MAGS: 4 TOTAL. 2-8rd. & 2-8rd. Radom Vis.35 mags. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: brown leather pigskin holster marked "cxb/ 4" on the rear, a custom made brown leather 3 cell mag. pouch (containing 1 spare P.38 and 2 Vis.35 mags.), as well as a K98k cleaning kit. CONDITION: metal components retain large amounts of their original factory dual tone finish, exhibiting extensive pitting overall, with losses seemingly being the result of cleaned rust scaling. Near mirror bore, exhibiting some light pitting on the edges of the lands and retaining well defined rifling throughout. Grips exhibit scattered marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable. Holster should be handled with care as it is deteriorating, with the mag. pouch having almost completely deteriorated and the closure strap stud having torn off. Custom 3-cell mag. also remains malleable, and exhibits spots of crazing overall. K98k cleaning kit exhibits exterior wear, one of the hinged lid clamps no longer being present. (23-5118/MLW). Left side of frame exhibits an Interarms import mark, with a crossed out "BMI" stamp on the right, indicating former issue to the German Federal Ministry of the Interior. Parkerized slide and bbl., with black anodized aluminum frame. Frame is mounted with 2 piece checkered black plastic grips. Matching numbers are stamped on the frame, slide, and bbl., with the locking block matching via an electro-penciled inscription on the left. MAGS: 1 World War II production P.08 Luger 8-rd. mag. There is a spot at the butt for a lanyard ring t...morehat is missing. 2-Piece wood grips. The lower facets of the barrel are marked “CHOBERT_PAR'S” & “16.RLE LAFAYETTE”. The underside of the frame is serial numbered “6807”, and the top of the barrel is marked “DEPOSE”. CONDITION: pistol shows light wear & functions properly. 2) BRITISH. A British WWI/WII Schermuly flare gun with a brass body. This flare gun has an iron trigger, release mechanism, & hammer, along with an iron lanyard ring at the butt. 2-Piece wood grips. The barrel is marked with a broad arrow and 4 British proof marks. The frame is stamped “2397” with an elephant. The other side of the frame has several proof marks along with the words “W.W. GREENER BIRMINGHAM”. CONDITION: pistol shows light wear overall & functions well. 3) GERMAN. A German WWII flare pistol with what appears to be an aluminum body & iron trigger guard, trigger, & hammer. 2-Piece wood grips. There is an iron lanyard ring at the butt. The side of the frame is stamped “Waffenfabrik Walther Zella Mahlis (Thur) Walther (in ribbon) 57703L”. CONDITION: pistol shows light wear overall & functions well. 4) US. A US WWII flare pistol with an iron body, trigger, & release mechanism. 2-Piece composite grips. The side of the pistol is marked “CECV 1943 U.S. PROPERTY PISTOL PYROTECHNIC M8” in a triangle. CONDITION: pistol has an overall oxidized finish but appears to function well. 5) FINNISH. A Finnish flare pistol of the WWII era made entirely of iron with a lanyard ring at the butt. 2-Piece wood grip. The left side of the frame is marked “SA” in a rectangle and numbered “124”.
