Left side of the receiver is marked with the Rampant Colt logo above "MATCH TARGET", with the S# marked on the right. Left side of slide is marked "COLT", followed by the cal. designation. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered mottled brown plastic thumbrest grips. Standard ramped blade front sight with adj. square notch rear sight. MAGS: 1 10-rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: original brown leatherette factory box containing a manual and 2 mottled brown plastic grip extensions. Box is accompanied by an original cardboard sleeve, which is matching in pencil on the exterior. CONDITION: excellent, with metal components retaining bountiful amounts of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting few light superficial handling marks, as well as a couple of small spots of oxidation on the bbl. Mirror bore, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Grips are very good to excellent, showing a few scattered handling marks. Box shows some light exterior wear, but otherwise remains excellent overall. Cardboard sleeve shows mild exterior wear, with taped repairs present on most corners. Medalist semi-automatic pistol mfg. in Belgium and imported/retailed...more by Browning Arms Company in 1972. Left side of the bbl. is marked with Browning's importer information, with "22 LR. BROWNING PATENTS/ MADE IN BELGIUM" marked on the right. Front grip strap is marked with the S#. Slide features renaissance grade engraved panels of near full coverage foliate scrollwork on a punch dot background, with matching pattern panels present over the top of the bbl., and with foliate scroll motifs present overall. Metal components exhibit a French gray finish overall, save for on the trigger, which features a gold washed finish. 1-piece wood thumb rest grip and schnabel tip "forend" exhibit matching pattern scroll engraving on a punch dot background. V/R with blade front sight and adj. square notch rear sight. MAGS: 1 10-rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: factory black leatherette case, containing a factory manual, ammunition block, disassembly tool, as well as target weights. CONDITION: extremely fine, with metal components retaining virtually all of their original factory finishes overall. Brilliant mirror bore, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Wood furniture is excellent, save for a small area of bubbling and flaking to the varnish on the bottom rear edge of the grip. Case shows light to mild exterior wear from handling and storage, but otherwise remains excellent overall. An extremely attractive example of a renaissance engraved Belgian Browning Medalist pistol. Glen Hartliep is the son of the late Master Engraver and former NRA instructor Neil Hartliep. Right side of action has a gold bordered vignette featuring a raised gold mallard. Left side vignette features a raised gold setter. Scenes are surrounded by vine type foliate scroll w/ punch dot backgrounds that extends to upper receiver areas along w/ receiver extension and breech end of barrel. Machine jeweled bolt and carrier. Custom beavertail forearm & pistol grip stock of fancy black walnut gloss over finish and pigeon grade style and checkering. Screw attached metal grip cap is marked with gold initials. LOP: 14" over a thin black Pachmayr Presentation pad. Mfg. 1937. CONDITION: fine as upgraded, retaining 98% brightly polished reblued finish. Stocks have very good gloss finish. Very good bore. Cal. 410, 3". S# 23000. Bbl. 26" solid rib, fixed Skeet choke and steel bead. Action has full coverage engraving similar to Winchester 12-5 by Master Engraver Neil Hartli...moreep. The late Neil Hartliep was a self taught engraver, guest instructor at Trinidad Colorado State college beginning in 1979 and later instructed with the NRA Gunsmithing Schools Program. In 1985 he was the author of "The Basics of Firearm Engraving", an NRA Education and Training Publication. Right side receiver scene depicts 6 gold inlaid quail. Left side scene shows 3 flushing gold inlaid partridge, a silver inlaid setter and gold inlaid pointer. Scenes are surrounded by vine type foliate scroll with punch dot backgrounds, gold wire borders and geometric highlights. Complimentary engraving extends to upper and lower receiver areas, trigger guard bow along with breech and muzzle ends barrel. Breech block and carrier are engraved in an attractive scroll pattern. Custom beavertail forearm and straight grip stock of fancy hand checkered black walnut. LOP: 13 5/8" over Winchester buttplate. Mfg. 1936. This is Neil's personal shotgun. It is pictured on page 103 of the NRA Gunsmithing Schools Program manual. CONDITION: fine as upgraded. 97% blue showing slide wear. Wood finish shows scattered small marks. Very good bright bore. Cal.410. 3". S# 20453. Bbl. 28" solid rib with fixed full choke and steel bead. 12-2 pattern engraving by the late Nick Kusmit. The right side of the receiver he depicts ...morea woodland scene with a pointer and two flushing partridge. Left side scene shows a pointer and flushing pheasant. Scenes are highlighted by vine type foliate scroll. Nick was a Master Engraver at Winchester from 1952-1980. He continued to engrave until his death at 92, in 2010. This is one of his last works and the effects of age are obvious. His initials "NK" are found on a fence post on the left side. Machine jeweled bolt and carrier. Aftermarket Big Head safety. Beavertail forearm and steel capped pistol grip stock of fancy walnut w/ diamond pattern checkering and gloss finish. Winchester stocks are 1990s vintage Japanese production. Mfg. 1936. CONDITION: fine as upgraded. Over 97% blue, showing slide wear on mag tube. Stock finish shows small scatter marks. Very good bright bore. (24-1978/DS). CURIO. $5,000-7,000.

Features include large oval hollow rib posts, white Bradley front si...moreght & Lyman white no. 11 center bead. Left side of rib is marked "SIMMONS GUN SPECIALTIES INC. KANSAS CITY, MO". Custom wood mfg. by Fajen for Simmons retailed shotguns. Beavertail forearm w/ 3 panel checkering having uncheckered center diamond on bottom panel. Pistol grip walnut stock w/ skeet pattern hand checkering & engraved silver finished grip cap. LOP: 13 7/8" to Winchester plastic buttplate. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: accompanied by card from Don Combs display giving the following description, "This gun is very rare in the fact is was bought from Winchester in the white by Simmons Gun Specialties, fitted with Fagen wood & Simmons vent rib; then sold for $20.00 less than what Winchester sold their guns. It is possibly the only one in existence in its original box. Simmons did this only in 1962 and 63, Manufactured in 1962.". Supporting materials include Simmons Gun Specialties Inc 1962 catalogs picturing & describing the Simmons Deluxe vent rib skeet guns. 2 copies of 1962 catalog dealer price list effective June 15, 1962. 2 loose leaf sheets advertising Simmons vent ribs & other products that show apparent insect damage. Original box w/ properly numbered white label. Box contains dividers & paper. Box shows light water damage & tattering. CONDITION: appears unfired retaining over 98% Simmons blue w/ some slide wear. HIGHLY DESIRABLE PARKER VHE 410 SINGLE TRIGGER SXS

According to page 258 of "The Parker Story" only 463 VH grade Parkers were manufactured in 41...more0 with 26" Vulcan steel bbls. A mere 163 VH grade Parker shotguns in any gauge were produced with the trap modified forearm. Additionally, found on the same page, single triggers appear on a scant 3% of the entire V Grade production, making this an exceptionally rare Parker. Bbls. 26" of Vulcan steel w/ fixed full & full chokes. Front bead. Case colored 000 frame boxlock action. Features include a Parker single selective trigger & automatic ejectors. Action has borderline engraving. Original trap style beavertail forearm & straight grip walnut stock w/ hand checkering. DAH: 1 15/16". DAC: 1 3/8". LOP: shortened to 14" over reattached dog's head hard rubber buttplate. Stock has neutral cast. WEIGHT: 5 lbs, 13 oz. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: photo-copy of a letter from the Parker Gun Collector's Association, Inc. detailing the following information "Parker shotgun, serial number 236229, was manufactured in 1933. According to Parker Bros. Stock Book No. 82, it was a VHE hammerless .410 on a size 000 frame and a single trigger. It featured Vulcan steel barrels with a length of 26 inches and 2 15/16" chambers. Its stock configuration was a straight grip with a trap modified for-end. According to Parker Bros Stock Book No. 82, its specifications were: Length of Pull: 14 1/2", Drop at Heel: 2", Drop at Comb: 1 3/8", Weight: 5 pounds. 13 ounces. The price listed in the 1933 price list for a VHE grade with single trigger was S126.50 plus $14.85 for a trap modified for-end". CONDITION: bbls. have 95% original blue. Action has over 90% original case colors w/ slight fading in carry areas. Trigger guard has fading blue w/ touch up on tang. Stock finish is touched up around reattached buttplate & shows scattered scratches & marks. Very good bright bores. Sound mechanical operation. (24-934). CURIO. $40,000-60,000.
