Cal. 48. NSN. Bbl. 46" dbl. tapered octagon. Top flat appears to read "Miller". Reconversion engraved trade lock marked "J. Bishop/Warranted". Dbl. set triggers. Key fastened very plain walnut stock that appears to be replacement. LOP: 12 1/4" to plain wooden butt. Blacksmith made strap iron trigger guard. Hickory ramrod held in mismatched brass pipes. CONDITION: metal has dark patina. Stock has worn finish with handling marks having heavy gouge in right side of butt. Dark pitted bore. (01-9873/DS). ANTIQUE. $400-800....more
