COLT MODEL 1903 SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL.

Cal. 32 ACP. S# 470628. Bbl 3 3/4". Model 1903 semi-automatic pistol manufactured by Colt in 1927. Left side of slide is stamped with Colt's address and patent informatio...moren followed by the Rampant Colt logo, with the right side bearing the caliber designation. Address, Rampant Colt log, caliber designation, as well as the serial number have been lightly highlighted with gold colored filler. Metal components exhibit a blued finish, with the frame being mounted with 2 piece Colt silver medallion faux ivory grips. Interior of grips have been modified via the addition of 2 small plastic panels, which stop the grips from spinning when removing them from the frame. MAGS: 1 8 rnd. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting areas of wear and superficial handling marks overall, with some scattered areas of pitting. Bore exhibits consistent mild pitting and strong rifling throughout. Grips are very good overall. (23-1760/MLW). CURIO. $500-800.

HAMMERLESS SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL WITH FACTORY LETTER. Cal. 380 ACP. S# 117427. Bbl 3 3/4". Model 1908 Pocket Hammerless manufactured by Colt in 1934. The left side of the...more slide is stamped with Colt's 2 line address followed by the Rampant Colt logo, with the right side being marked "COLT AUTOMATIC/ CALIBRE .380 HAMMERLESS". Metal components exhibit a blued finish, with the frame being mounted with 2 piece Colt silver medallion checkered walnut grips. Frame and slide are matching. MAGS: 1 7 rnd dual-tone magazine. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Colt factory letter indicating that this example was 1 of 10 Model 1908 pistols shipped to Dunham Carrigan & Hayden Company in San Francisco, CA on February 9th of 1934. CONDITION: Extremely fine, with metal components retaining virtually all of their original factory applied blue finish, save for a couple minute spots of extremely light edge wear, a few scattered superficial marks from handling and storage, as well as a small spot of light pitting on the rear of the frame. Barrel shows some light wear, appearing to be from hand cycling of the slide. Brilliant mirror bore, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Grips show some mild smoothing, but are otherwise excellent overall. An absolutely stellar 1935 production Colt Model 1908 Pocket Hammerless pistol that one would find near impossible to upgrade from. (23-1752/MLW). CURIO. $1,500-2,000.

Frame has "GHS" inspector cartouche. MAGS: 1 two tone 7 rd. in fair condition showing large spots of cleaned pitting & patina. CONDITION: Bbl. has very good blue w/ wear in contact areas. Balance of slide has blue mixed w/ brown patina & peppery oxidation throughout, right side of slide has cleaned pitting & gray coloration from touch up finish. This pistol's correct features include: dark brushed blue finish, Type 1 dbl. diamond walnut checkered stocks, Type B recoil spring guide, Type A slide lock, Type C mag. release lock, Type C safety lock tab, Type C hammer, Type 1 flat mainspring housing, Type 2 mainspring housing pin, short tang grip safety, long type trigger, Type A front sight & Type B rear sight. 5" Bbl. marked "H" & "P" separately on top side horizontally along w/ "5" on bottom of bbl. & "C" on left lug. Top of frame has "H", "3" & "G" proofs along w/ eagle "S17" proof behind trigger & "40" assemble number on lower portion of trigger guard. "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" marking above S#. MAGS: 2 TOTAL; good WW-I Risdon 2 tone 7 rd. w/ scattered light pitting & oxidation. Very good Colt 10 rd. 22 LR conversion mag. w/ early aluminum follower. WW2 GUIDE LAMP FP45 LIBERATOR PISTOL.

Lot # 1187 (Sale Order: 190 of 696)      

Cal. 45 ACP. NSN. Bbl. 4". Crude fixed sights. Covertly mfg. during WW2 by the Guide Lamp division of General Motors. The gun was given the name "FP-45" to be deceptive i...moremplying the gun was a flare projector. The guns saw use by Chinese & Filipino guerillas against the Japanese. The intent was to use this crude weapon to get a better weapon from an enemy soldier. The gun operates by pulling back the cocking piece, rotate it 90 degrees in either direction, left the loading gate, insert a rd of 45 ACP, close the gate pull back the striker, rotate into firing position & then fire. Most of these Liberator pistols were destroyed post-WW2. Floorplate present. CONDITION: left side of frame has electro pencil number "203" & both seams are coming loose. Metal otherwise shows scattered oxidation, dings & handling wear. Smoothbore shows scattered light pitting. PROVENANCE: From the estate collection of Thomas J. Mulligan. (23-2201/MJC). CONDITION: good to very good overall, revolver is refinished, markings mostly discernible, though address and serial number on barrel or partially obliterated. There are numerous small Dings on the backstrap, but the inscription is still discernible. Mechanically functional, good rifle bore with pitting. Cal. 45 ACP. S# 60379. 5 1/2". US Model of 1917 double action revolver manufactured by Colt. The left side of the barrel is stamped "COLT D.A. 45", with Colt's 2 line add...moreress across the top and "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" on the underside. Left side of frame bears the Rampant Colt logo and "JMG" (John Gilbert) inspector proof. Metal components exhibit a blued finish, with the frame being mounted with 2 piece smooth wood grips. Underside of right grip panel is carved with an "X". Factory matching numbers are present on the interior of the frame, on the cylinder crane, and are handwritten in pencil on the interior of the grip panels. CONDITION: good overall, with metal components retaining the majority of their original arsenal blue finish, exhibiting some scattered areas of wear and thinning that lightly shows through to gray patina, some spots mild surface oxidation, as well as some scattered superficial marks from handling and storage. Very bright bore, exhibiting some areas of very light pitting and retaining strong rifling throughout. Grips show some scattered marks from handling and storage, but are otherwise good. Left side of frame bears the Rampant Colt logo, with the military designation and serial number "38563" stamped on the butt. Metal components exhibit an arsenal reapplied blue finish, with the frame being mounted with 2 piece Colt black checkered hard rubber grips. Matching assembly number "1645" is present on the interior of the frame, as well as on the left side of the barrel beneath the caliber designation. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their arsenal reapplied blue finish, exhibiting some wear and thinning that shows through to gray patina, as well as some scattered superficial marks from handling and storage. Brilliant mirror bore, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Grips exhibit some smoothing and scattered marks from handling and storage, with the right panel exhibiting a loss on the butt. Left side of frame bears an mostly illegible "GHS" inspector stamp, indicating inspection by Major Gilbert H. Stewart. Major metal components exhibit a factory style reapplied blue finish, with the hammer and trigger exhibiting a case color hardened finish. Frame is mounted with 2 piece smooth wood grips. All numbers are matching and are present on the frame, rear face of the cylinder, extractor, as well as on the underside of the barrel. Bbl. & frame have additional number "4345". CONDITION: metal components retain bountiful amounts of their factory style reapplied blue finish, exhibiting few superficial marks from handling and storage, some scattered spots of mild surface oxidation, as well as some small spots of light pitting beneath the finish.. COLT NEW SERVICE DOUBLE ACTION REVOLVER WITH PROVENANCE. Cal. 45 Colt. S# 85867. Bbl 5 1/2". New Service originally chambered in .455 Eley manufactured by Colt and shippe...mored to the London Armoury Company in London, England in 1915. The left side of the barrel is stamped "NEW SERVICE 455 ELEY" below a later applied "CAL. 45 COLT" stamp (indicating conversion to .45 ACP), with Colt's 2 line address across the top. Left side of frame bears the Rampant Colt logo and "VP" proof, with Canadian proofs stamped overall. Rear grip strap is stamped with a lined out "P.P.C.L.I 4.E.27" unit mark, indicating issue to the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry regiment. Former unit marking is mostly legible, reading "H (?) 2 COY 12 CMGC 15" indicating issue to the 2nd Company, 12th Platoon, Canadian Machine Gun Corps. Metal components are blued, with the frame being mounted with 2 piece Colt checkered brown hard rubber grips. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Colt factory letter indicating that this example was 1 of 600 New Service revolvers shipped to the London Armoury Company in London England on July 31st of 1915, Ancestry Guns listing & letter of authenticity, as well as a brief summary of the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry regiment. CONDITION: metal components retain large amounts of what appear to be their original factory high polish blue finish, exhibiting wear and thinning overall that shows through to a pleasant gray patina that mixes with the bluing, as well as some light surface oxidation overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting strong rifling throughout. Grips show smoothing and a few scattered marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remain sturdy and serviceable.
