PISTOL. Cal. 6.35 mm. S# M32. Bbl. 2.5”. This scarce Belgian mfg. recoil operated semi auto vest pocket pistol was produced from 1910 to 1918. Patented in 1909 by the “So...moreciete Anonyme des Fabriques D’Armes Reunies”. The Dictator contains a wraparound style telescoping bolt. Perhaps the first of its kind developed w/ this style mechanism. The rear of the bolt has a serrated cocking piece. When cycled the round is chambered in a hollowed portion of the bolt. Rather unique design. MAGS: 1 – 5 rd. CONDITION: metal finish retains over 97% original blue finish w/ minor wear on serrations of cocking knob & mild high edge wear. Fine, light freckled pinprick spots of minor oxidation present. Light wear from rotation of the safety. Light thinning finish on magazine. Very good original grips. Very bright bore w/ light wear to rifling. (19–5019/ZAL). CURIO. $600 – 900.

A small number of Bulgarian contract pist...moreols that were converted from the standard double action only configuration of the model 38 to the single/double action configuration w/ the addition of a thumb safety were delivered to Bulgaria prior to the invasion. Pistol features checkered blade front sight w/ V notch dovetailed rear sight. Rear slide serrations. Safety marked “O” & “Z”. Bottom magazine catch w/ lanyard loop. Checkered wraparound Bakelite grips w/ CZ logo. Matching numbers slide & frame. MAGS: 1 – 8 rd. CONDITION: overall good metal finish that is thinning on slide towards muzzle from holster wear. Front grip strap shows wear from carrying. Scattered handling marks. A small amount of fine pinprick freckled oxidation present. Straw coloring on safety lever, hammer & trigger have faded w/ small amounts present in protected areas. Very good grips show normal wear & a few scattered handling marks. This blowback operated pistol was built w/ a solid frame w/ two part breech block, the upper portion housing the guide rod & recoil spring. This pistol was manufactured in Belgium in limited quantity prior to World War I through 1914. Matching numbers. Original grips. MAGS: 1 – 6 rd. CONDITION: overall very fine w/ over 95% original blue. Muzzle & high edges show mild wear. Trigger guard is lightly dented w/ a couple of mild minor dings. AUTO PISTOL. Cal. 7.65 mm. S# 229. Bbl. 3.5” w/ matching last two digits of the S#. Remainder of the gun also has matching numbers. These scarce German manufactured pisto...morels were produced in the Weimar era w/ similarities to an Astra 1915 Ruby pistol. The top of the slide is marked DEUTSCHE INDUSTRIE HEI=MO. EINGETR. SCHUTZM”. Slide, frame & bbl. are crown/N proofed. Frame marked “DRGM” located over S#. Original walnut grips have a unique style w/ a contoured raised section that is checkered. MAGS: 1 – 8 rd. CONDITION: metal finish retains approximately 75% original blue exhibiting high edge & grip strap wear. The heaviest wear is located on the front & back straps typical from use. Left side of slide has a heavy dent that does not appear to impede function. Slide & frame have a few dings & fine scattered light pinprick oxidation that is relatively minor. Very good grips have some light wear to the checkering w/ scattered handling marks & a ding to the high edge at the bottom of the left grip. Very good bore w/ light frosting & distinct rifling. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: very good plus stock rig. Very nice fire blue on stock iron, hinge & latch assembly. Very crisp Mauser Banner. Light to medium marks throughout plus "R" scratched on right mid point of stock appearing upside down in use. Very nice interior of stock w/ no damage or cracks. Very good plus leather harness w/ shoulder straps in like condition. Especially nice cleaning rod retaining fire blue at tip having very slight bend in spiral section. Consignor states pistol brought back from WWII by George Dakunchak of Michigan area. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: unmarked plain brown flap holster having pattern of punched circles around perimeter of flap. Single wide belt loop, rivet & stitch retained having metal bail as used on US & British web belts. Snap flap attachment w/ brown cap. Good traces of fire blue on safety & extractor. Beginning patina appearance to in the white components such as bolt & lock housing. Good grips w/ hand wear; grip screw overly protrudes right side. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: SS ring internally marked w/ what appears to be "Daluege 33 H. Himmler", early padded purple velvet ring case w/ SS -OBERS over Daluege, red leather holster w/ Daluege stamped on inside of the strap w/ what appears to be the identical stamp found on the bottom of the ring case. Framed German cross in silver award stamped w/ the identical stamp found on the bottom of the ring case & interior of the holster strap, photo of a soldier carrying a 1911 A1 holster rig w/ a Luger, HSC & DUO tucked in the G.I. web belt reverse of the photo signed Buchlal, Germany. In accompanying handwritten letter in German that is difficult to translate due to the fading ink & cursive handwriting. CONDITION: near excellent blue finish w/ light high edge wear. SS markings were blued after applied. Crisp markings. Near excellent bright bore sharp rifling. We do not guarantee the Daluege or SS markings on the items w/in this lot to be wartime application. This early 1940 Mfg. pistol is one of the first 3000 accepted by the German army w/ the early small Eagl...moree 655 Waffenampt & firing proof eagle on the rear left side of frame. High polish commercial blue finish w/ matted slide. Lanyard loop integral to backstrap/butt of frame. Eagle N proof on right side of slide, bbl. & trigger guard. All matching numbers. MAGS: 1 – 7 rd. w/ machined follower & Mauser banner flat floor plate. CONDITION: metal retains over 98% original blue w/ very mild muzzle/holster high edge wear. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: poor conditioned stock w/ numerous cracks & splits; some repaired. Matching numbered attachment iron missing latch mechanism & unsecured attachment screw. Buttplate functional w/ repaired split. Faint Mauser Banner. Patina metal finish; hinge missing 1 bolt. Reproduction black leather carrier w/ cleaning rod & pouch on front as if for slim mag. (Chinese 45?). Single wide belt loop. CONDITION: good general appearance w/ areas of cleaned light to moderate pitting showing mainly on bottom rear of bbl. & right rear of frame.
