CASE V-42 STILETTO WITH SCABBARD.

Overall length w/ scabbard: 19 3/4". Blade length: 7 1/4". Blued blade w/ a medial ridge. Ricasso is marked "CASE" below the thumb ridges. The opposite side of the ricass...moreo is stamped, w/ individual stamps, "U.S. / 576". Only the first few hundred of these knives produced bore a serial number & US mark. Leather covered steel crossguard is slightly magnetic, as is correct for this knife. Compressed leather washer style grip. Pommel w/ skull crusher top. Scabbard is full length w/ steel toothed top & 4 rivet base. Leather lanyard intact. This is a fine original example of a V42 Special Forces stiletto. CONDITION: blade has about 70% bluing intact. Hilt shows wear but is quite solid. Scabbard is undamaged but shows significant honest wear throughout. (02-12488/BF). $2,500-3,500.

FENCING/TRAINING BAYONET & WWII M1912 SQUAD BOX FOR M1911 PISTOLS. 1) US M1909 BOLO KNIFE & SCABBARD. Overall length: 20 1/2". Blade length: 13 3/4". This bolo was mfg. a...moret the Springfield Arsenal & used during WWI & beyond. Blade is marked at the ricasso, "U.S. 17419" & "S A (flaming bomb) 1915". 2 Piece wood grip w/ 3 brass rivets & a brass pommel end. Scabbard is brown leather w/ a brass throat & is marked on the reverse, "ROCK ISLAND ARSENAL 1916 T.C.C.". CONDITION: blade has a medium gray mottled patina w/ spotty areas of discoloration. Grip shows moderate wear w/ a tight crack through the top rivet. Scabbard shows light overall wear. (02-12840/BF). 2) US M1912 FENCING / TRAINING BAYONET. Overall length: 19". "Blade" length: 16". This bayonet was designed to be used w/ a special training rifle. It has 2 loops at the top to fit over the bbl. The entire "blade" area is covered w/ leather & has a nearly circular extension also covered in leather at the end. The ricasso area is marked "R.I.A. 1914. H.E.K." & "J.M.". CONDITION: bayonet shows light wear overall. (02-12842/BF). 3) WWII M1912 SQUAD BOX FOR M1911 PISTOLS. A seldom seen, complete & original U.S. Army M12 squad box measuring 9" x 5" x 2". Box contains its original oiler, grease pot & 10 brass cleaning rods for the M1911 A1 Colt Automatic pistol. Box also contains a wooden form that holds the oiler & grease pot. Cleaning rods are mounted on 2 rails at either end of the box. Box has a blued finish inside & out w/ a lg. "US" in a circle stamped into the lid. CONDITION: blued finish on outside of box is lightly worn & is nearly complete on the inside. Contents are undamaged. (02-12843/BF). $500-800.

Bla...morede has original darkened finish. Brass knuckle duster grip also has a rarely seen original dark finish. Grip is marked "U.S. 1918 / L.F & C-1918". Original scabbard has a dark finish & is marked at the throat "L.F. & C. / 1918". Rear of scabbard has both belt attachments intact. It is extremely rare to find 1 of these desirable trench knives w/ so much original finish intact. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: an authentication & evaluation letter from Greg Aloisio, noted author of the book titled, "The Model 1918 Mark I Trench Knife & Variations". CONDITION: both blade & hilt have nearly all of the original darkened finish intact. Scabbard has 97% original finish w/ a few scattered areas of very light oxidation. 1 Retaining prong is slightly bent. PROVENANCE: from the personal collection of Greg Aloisio. Aperture rear sight graduated to 1,000 meters. Blade front sight w/ protective ears. Bayonet lug is present. Walnut stock set. 10 Rd. rotary mag. WWI dated model 1907 leather sling. CONDITION: stock set has light wear & handling marks w/ very good overall appearance. Sm. chip missing at bottom of forend between takedown lever slot & forward screw hole. Walnut pistol grip stock w/ plastic Winchester buttplate. Walnut forearm is notched to allow installation of cast iron line canister. Bottom of canister has painted marking "HARRISON". Left side has brass plate w/ cleaning instruction & is marked "NAVAL CO. DOYLESTOWN PA". Firearm has been removed from the provisions of the National Firearms Act & classified as curios or relics provided the canister remains attached to the bbl. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: original red case w/ wood interior blocks. Case contains four 12 7/8" brass line attachment rods. 3 Cardboard canisters containing 600 ft. of 140 lb test line. 1 Ball containing an unknown length of heavier line. 2 Wood mandrills. 1 Box containing 11 primed 45-70 cartridges. Directions & precautions brochure. Case lid shows warping & fading w/ some user added markings. Left end of case has hole in front of gun's muzzle. EXTREMELY RARE BLAKE ROTARY MAGAZINE RIFLE WITH

BRASS ROTARY MAGAZINE HOUSING & TRIGGER GUARD. Cal. 30-40 Krag. NSN. Bbl. 30”. This Blake rifle may possibly be a prototype variation w/ several interesting unique featur...morees. In addition to the brass magazine housing & trigger guard; the rear sight that was utilized is a similar sight that was observed on the Springfield 1880 trapdoor rifle type I w/ experimental triangle ramrod bayonet. The bolt is the only marked piece on this firearm bearing the number 120. Bbl. & receiver are rust blued. Bolt & mag house release as well as some small parts are in the white. Checkered pistol grip walnut stock w/ hand guard. Hand guard is custom fitted for the Springfield trapdoor sight. Later handguards observed are relieved for the larger sight typically found on Blake rifles. Three atypical bbl. bands that differ from other observed Blake rifles w/ forward band around fitted bayonet lug. Front band carries a “U” acceptance mark. Serrated hard rubber buttplate. Includes an original aluminum detachable magazine. MAGS: 1 – 7 rd. CONDITION: overall very good w/ thinning finish on bbl. Very good rust blue on receiver w/ some scattered handling marks and a few fine small spots of oxidation. Very good stock w/ scattered handling marks & bruises. Chip located just forward of bolt handle. Front sight is a modern replacement Lyman bead that has been damaged and does not fit squarely in dovetail. Small ding at crown of muzzle. Butt front bbl. band has very nice bluing. Middle and rear bbl. band have a thick enamel finish that is flaking. Brass has even pleasing mellow patina. Very nice bright bore w/ sharp distinct rifling. (01–16806/ZAL). ANTIQUE. $2,000 – 4,000.

Crisp markings include boxed "W.E.S" on left side, "33" under pistol grip. Stock is marked w/ "X" in cut out recess. Fine checkered trap buttplate. Brau Brothers military style sling. Marked on left side on toe of buttstock "B". CONDITION: stock set has moderate wear, dents & scratches over early arsenal rework finish.
