Stock h...moreas crisp "JSA 1901" acceptance mark on left side & encircled script "P" proof under grip. Correct humped handguard. Smooth trap buttplate. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: 3 section cleaning rod in butt. CONDITION: stock set has original finish w/ the crisp markings, however, the buttstock has an extensive crack extending forward from the buttplate approx. 3" on the left side & 2 1/2" on the right side. Handguard has a fine crack extending from the receiver ring 1 1/2" forward & a repaired crack on the right side between the bbl. band & rear sight base. The metal retains 85% of its original blue finish w/ thinning & light wear. Bore has lightly worn lands & a frosted appearance in the grooves. (25-947/RW). CURIO. $1,400-2,000.

CONDITION: stock has dark arsenal rework type finish. Extensive crack on both sides of butt, extending approx. 3" forward. Missing chip of wood on right side below receiver bridge. Small cracks at forward end of trigger guard. Stock finish has numerous flecks of white paint. Metal w/ traces of original blue has turned overall gray & patina. Oxidation & fine pitting. Notable area of pitting, over chamber & around feel sight. Brass cartridge body (Broken Shell) has adhered to chamber wall. CONDITION: grips show a couple light chips, some light dings & handling marks. Trigger & hammer retain strong traces of their case colors with overall fading & some oxidation. Balance of metal retains 50% of an old good quality reblue with S&W monogram being faint, overall flaking to brown, scattered oxidation & edge wear.
