An English William III side chair. 18th century. Hand carved splat and crest rail decorated with painted leather and studded center. Supported by hand carved block and turned stretchers with decorative front stretcher and paw feet. Chamfer and wooden pin construction. 57"h x 18 1/4"w x 20"depth.Condition: Several areas of cracking within the construction of the chair especially evident in the splat and front leg decoration. Repairs to both crest rail and crown finial. Leather on seat has been cracked.
