Serrated trigger, hinged floorplate. Stock is smooth with forearm grasping grooves, & schnabel tip, ventilated recoil pad. Bore is very good, strong rifling. Retains 80% blue, with edge wear, handling wear on bolt handle, friction wear on extractor.. Wood is very good condition with minor scratches. Markings are crisp/clear. Brown leather sling attached. Pistol exhibits approximately 90% of it's original blued finish showing edge wear, thinning, and scattered scratches/losses. Action is sound, the bore is excellent and the wood grips are very good. Colt Model 1878 44-40 SN: 42680

Rare Colt 1878 Double Action revolver with factory Mother of Pearl grips. Manufactured 1899. 71/2" barrel. The standard one-line address is marked on top of the barrel and "COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER" is on the left. The loading gate is numbered "10" The circled Rampant Colt is on the left of the frame, and the serial number is marked on the butt. It is fitted with blade and frame-top notch sights and a lanyard loop on the butt. The left grip panel is inscribed "B.F. Ratliff" Benjamin Franklin Ratliff was Born in 1838 in Alabama, served in the Confederate Army during the Civil War with the 20th Texas Infantry as a private until the end of the war. The revolver comes with a folder containing the Colt factory letter. research letter of the gun by the Western Historical Gallery, and the Bio of Ratliff. The revolver sold and shipped special order with one gun in the shipment to the Star Coke & Coal Company in West Virginia, via the Carlin & Fulton Hardware Co. in Maryland. The letter confirms the configuration, and finish, and that it was shipped with factory Mother of Pearl Grips. Paperwork states it is believed that Mr. Ratliff was a superintendent at Star at the time, he passed away in 1906 at the age of 68. According to Wilkerson's book on the Model 1878 colt, (Page # 273) this revolver is one of only six such model 1878's that were shipped directly from the factory with Mother of Pearl grips, making it super rare. The borer is fair, rifling present with small areas of light pitting, action is crisp/tight, the grips are very good with no cracks or chips, original blue finish is about 20%, with the rest turned a gray/brown patina, some small , light areas of pitting. The cylinder pin is in the white, appears to have been cleaned at some point. Comes in a very nice glass topped wooden display case lined with red material, with a vintage garter. A very interesting revolver. NRA Condition-Good. C&R Firearm.

Lower barrel is stamped ".38 W.C.F.", Serial number on lower tang. Winchester markings in two lines on flat of barrel. Bore is very good, with good rifling, action is smooth/tight. Wood is tarnished, scratches and small dents with crescent steel buttplate. Metal finish has turned a dark brown patina, Some blue on the triggerguard. Markings are crisp/clear NRA Condition-Very Good as Antique. Antique Firearm.

Plain Mempo is a general term for these half mask-like face guards of warriors jutting chin and signalizing determination. The neck protection (Suga)composed of three plates (Lame) Suspended loosely by white laces. Exterior black, interior red lacquering. Pegs for nose peice. Has Ase-Hagashi-No-Ana in chin. (perspiration dripping holes), 32 plate black Tetsu (Iron) Suji Bachi helmet, raised ribs where plates join, each plate is connected with six hammered rivets. There is four protruding rivets around the crown.The Tehen (Central top piece) is five layered. and the Mabisashi (Visor) has three large rivets, and the traditional red lacquer on the underside. Has no Haraidate, fore crest holder, but has Wakidate-No-Tsunomoto, side crest holders. Agemaki bow attached to ASgemaki No Can (Loop) at rear of helmet. Shikoro (neck protector) has four leather plates (Lame) closely secured with pairs of blue slik laces in the Sugake style, the top lame is turned back to form the Fukigayeshi, covered with Dutch leather, missing Mons. Its overall shape is known as akoda-nari due to its resemblance to the akoda, a squash-like fruit. Overall very good condition. Has liner, & chinstrap. Black Lacquered Do (Cuirass), seven plate breast plate with metal coiled Dragon Mon, about 6 inches in diameter, hinged four plate side plates, & eight plate back plate, hammered rivet construction. 6 Lame Sode (Shoulder Guards) connected with with pairs of blue silk laces in the Sugake style. Armored sleeves (Kote) is protection for the arms, & hands. Shoulder area consists of chain mail with six intergraded lacquered metal plates, six long lacquered metal plates on the forearm connected with chain mail, and three lacquered plates with chain mail on the hands. The thigh guards (Haidate) are attached to the Do (Cuirass by means of double, & triple blue and white silk laces, consisting of seven sections of five lacquered metal plates each (Lame) Pair of shin guards (Suneate) with five lacquered metal plates each, padded material with images of a dragonfly, & black leather, loops intact. The stitching on one of the plates has come loose. Comes with a EDO period Gusoku Bitso (Armor Box) Black lacquered box with gold motifs, measures 25 1/2" H, 17" W, & 14 1/2" H., two large lifting handles, engraved metal fittings on corners. There are large family crests (Mons) Eight total with two on the lid, two front & back, and one on each side. The Mon is Maru Chigai Takanoha, the crossing of a pair of hawk feathers. Barrel release latch,and frame under the right barrel are stamped with the Perron tower, & star over V proofs. action works well, overall good condition. About .44 caliber. Rare Civil war era Alexander Sheffield New York with Shield Spear Point knife These knives were imported from Sheffield England and sold by R.H.ALEXANDER in New York. They were marketed to UNION Civil War volunteers from New York. 3 1/2" blade, 7" overall, mother of pearl grip, ricasso stamped with the " N Y" with shield in between, reverse stamped "Alexander Sheffield",intact black leather sheath with metal fittings, with the NY Shield embossed in gold in the leather. Markings are a little faint but readable. Blade has been sharpened. Antique Firearm.

SN:AT2055 & AT2056. Only 5,355 were made and are extremely hard to find as a consecutive boxed set. Beautiful, set of consecutive serial numbered Frontier Scouts chambered in 22 LR, They have 4.75" barrels, black frames and barrels. Gold cylinder, trigger guard trigger (smooth), grip frame, and hammer with knurled spur. Gold lettering on left side of both barrels "1863 Arizona Territorial Centennial 1963". The grips are faux pearl with gold Colt medallion. Bottom of grip frame is engraved. Both look like new. Comes with a wood presentation case with a cactus in the middle of the lid, a Colt logo on the right corner, and a gold velvet lining. Box is in good condition, with some minor dings and scratches. Bores are great. Metal finish is near perfect with no drag lines on the cylinder and no signs of use and minor handling. Grips are fine. Condition is NRA Perfect. *C&R Firearm*

SN:4962-M2 Pistol. Semi-Automatic. 7+1 capacity. In 1968 Colt wanted to commemorate WW1 by producing a Model 1911 in remembrance of the 4 most noted battles of WW1. This pistol is for the 2nd battle of the Marne. Production for each model was 7400. All were Pre-series model 70's with flat mainspring housings, long triggers, checkered slide stop and safety. Checkered wide hammer spur, and type 2 beveled proper rear sight. High polish blue finish with polished blond grips, Ivory in appearance. The left slide has a roll engraved battle scene, and the right has the WW! banner with "1917-1967, the 50th anniversary of entering the war. All gold toned. Left grip has Eagle medallion with "1917 1918, World War" with "2nd battle of the Marne" under it. Right grip was Doughboy medallion listed the Countries that fought in WW1. Lanyard ring in place. Bore is excellent/bright. Slide action is smooth/tight. Blued finish is about 99% with some minor scratches on the mainspring housing and frame. Grips are excellent. Comes with original Colt magazine. NRA Condition-Excellent. C&R Firearm.

Birmingham & London" marked on rib, Birmingham black powder proofs, and re-proofs on underside of the barrel, along with "Nitro Proof": I believe circa 1896-1904. Bores are overall very good/bright, there is a small area of pits in the left barrel above the chamber, wood is very good/sound, action is crisp/tight, barrels lock up tight. Moderate engraving. LOP is 14". Chokes measure right barrel IC, and left CYL. NRA Condition-Good-Re-Blued. C&R Firearm.

(The original Colt barrel is included, excellent condition) The original "Commander" was a variation of the 1911A1 designed to meet the requirements of the post-WWII U.S. military contract which outlined a lightweight 9mm pistol to be issued to officers. Features a matte/polished blued finish, 4.25" barrel, low-profile serrated blade front sight, dovetailed rear sight with square notch, serrated trigger, serrated round hammer spur, thumb safety on the left side of the frame, bobbed grip safety, push button magazine release, factory 7 round magazine, steel frame, serrated arched mainspring housing and checkered two-piece walnut grips with silver Colt medallions. Pistol exhibits approximately 95% of it's original finish showing light edge wear, some scattered handling scratches/losses .
