Single action rimfire revolver features 7.5" barrel, 6 shot unfluted cylinder, nickel finish, ivory grips. Bore is fair to good condition with strong rifling. Action is smooth with good lock-up. Retains 50% nickel finish with scratching, aging and imperfections, some brown patina color, 30-50% cylinder scene remaining. Triggerguard is a mellow colored brass with small amount of nickel retained. Grips are dark aged color, with visible grain pattern, some small cracks, good fit with little shrinkage. Numbers match, markings are sharp. A solid 7 or 8 out of 10 for an early cartridge firearm. Condition is NRA Fine *** Antique Firearm ***

Matched serial numbers, including locking block. Waffenamts. This pistol has seen use with the post-war French army as it has the star stamp on the right frame. French assembled with Mauser parts (g after serial number) Gray phosphate finish. Bore appears very good/bright, strong rifling. Black plastic Mauser grips are very good. Metal has some minor scratches. Original magazine stamped P.38 v U. A rare pistol. NRA Condition-Good. C&R Firearm.

Prima Wittener Drilling 16ga/25-20 SN: 1861

Lot # 38 (Sale Order: 41 of 644)      

German made three barreled combo gun with two 16ga barrels (marked "16/1") over a sleeved 25-20 barrel (marked "118,35" for the original chambering, probably a 9.3mm). Shell length needs to be verified before attempting to shoot 2-3/4" shells. No importer marks observed. Gun features 26-3/4" barrels, blade front & folding leaf rear sights, narrow sling swivels, blued finish, highly engraved back lock action with exposed hammers, top lever selects right shotgun barrel or rifle barrel, underlever opening, checkered splinter forend, checkered wrist semi-pistol grip stock, right handed cheek piece, horn buttplate. Engraved game scenes on receiver & locks surrounded by oak leaf motif scrolls. Bores are very good condition. Repair to forend hanger shows sloppy solder work; barrel sleeve also shows with clear line between new sleeve and old barrel as a sleeve. Retains 90% coverage of blued finish, now an even grayish color with scuffs & scratches. Action shows very good surface finish with silver bare metal high spots and dark blued low spots in engraving providing a contrast. Barrels lightly dented in several places along sides and at right muzzle. Wood is good solid condition, with checkering work a bit smooth, no cracks observed. Features blued finish, Bird's Eye Maple stock, 22.5" ported barrel, ramped front sight base with hood & blade sight, "ERA" marked rear sight island with adjustable "u" notch rear sight, drop box magazine with hinged floorplate, right side of bridge drilled & tapped for receiver sight, two base quick detach bases installed atop receiver (no scope, no rings), side swing two position safety fitted to original bolt shroud, checkered flat on underside of bolt knob, barrel band front swivel stud, rear stud in stock, steel grip cap, leather butt pad. Stock features contrasting forend tip (appears to be Rosewood), checkered panels at wrist & forend, pancake cheek piece for right handed shooter, bird's eye figure on all sides from butt to mid-forend, some quilted flame figure throughout. Crisp single stage trigger. Floorplate is beautifully engraved (probably by FEGA Master Engraver Rachel Wells) in a floral scroll pattern with central gold inlaid Cape Buffalo. Bore is very good. Retains 95% blued finish, with some minor blemishes, bare metal on engraved floorplate, trigger guard bow has been partly polished (retains deep black color on sides). Colt Single Action Army 45 Colt SN: 37447

Lot # 42 (Sale Order: 45 of 644)      

'1st Generation' Single action revolver manufactured circa 1877. Features 7-1/2" barrel, fixed sights, single piece walnut grip, center pin held by screw, bull's eye ejector rod head. Bore is good condition, several pitted areas, some strong rifling present. Charge holes are dark and show some roughness. Metal surfaces are a slightly mottled brown with some gray color, darker in protected areas, some bare metal on edges. Wood grip is good condition, showing slight shrinkage, dents and scratches. Markings are eroded, with single line barrel address difficult to read with portions missing. Serial number repeated on triggerguard & back strap. No caliber marking observed. Action is smooth with fair lock-up. Includes Colt letter which indicates original finish was nickel (some tiny traces observed in rear sighting channel). Features 22" barrel, pinned blade front sight, Buffington adjustable rear sight (marked "C" on elevation ladder), sling bar & ring, butt trap storage compartment, 1884 dated breech block, grooved trigger. Bore is fair condition, mostly bright with strong rifling, some pitting and frosting throughout. Metal parts are brown color, mottled or gray in places, slightly rough texture from previous pitting around breech. Stock is fair condition, overall solid, with dents & scratches throughout, erosion and some wood loss around lock plate and sling bar, wood loss at toe. Markings are readable with some erosion. 'Medium Frame' Antique American made slide action repeating rifle, manufactured circa 1891. Features tapered 26" octagon barrel, dovetailed German silver bladed front sight, elevation adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sporting sight, full length tube magazine, smooth trigger, case hardened hammer with knurled spur, steel frame, two-piece hand checkered walnut slide handle and smooth straight grip shoulder stock with crescent metal buttplate. No Rampant Colt on left side of receiver. Bore is fair to good condition, dark grooves with strong rifling. The original high polished blued finish is now almost completely turned to brown, some light gray areas on barrel, with bare metal on edges and where moving parts rub, bare metal tangs, some dark gray color retained in protected areas. Some dents and parallel scratches on receiver sides. Pump handle is very good condition, varnished, with dents & scratches.
