Rifle. bolt-Action. German WW2 military issued Infantry rifle. Very scarce "660" coded rifle, early war Polish/Austrian variant. "660" code changed shortly after production began. Parts came from Steyr as well as the captured Polish Radom plant. 24" barrel with ramp/post front and tangent rear sights. Receiver ring stamped "660", and "1940". 4 waffenamts ,WaW623 on right receiver ring, 2 on the lower left barrel. Eagle/swastika proofs on left barrel, and receiver. Serial number on left receiver and barrel. Correct "H" pattern milled front barrel band. Milled lower band, floorplate, and triggerguard. Waffenamteagle/625 on bolt. 2 Waffenamts Eagle/623 stamped on the triggerguard. Serial number matches on the barrel, receiver bolt, triggerguard , rear sight base,with Waffenamt Eagle/623 , floor plate screw, and bolt release. Mismatched barrel bands, and floorplate. Safety latch stamped with Polish "Z" in circle. It is usual to find some mismatched parts on these rifles. Unmarked buttplate. There is a "W", and "K" stamped behind the triggerguard on the stock. Cleaning rod present. Bore appears ok with strong rifling, but a little dark/dirty. Laminated stock/handguard are good with the usual minor scratches/dings. Blued finish is about 70% with handling/edge wear. Buttplate is in the white with some minor pitting. Action is crisp/tight. Correct issue sling attached. NRA condition-Very Good. C&R Firearm.

The FN factory Herstal was used by the Wehrmacht to build pistols for the military, under the designation "9mm Pistole 640b. Left slide stamped "Fabrique Nationale D'Armes De Guerre, Herstal Belgique."Brownimg's Patent Depose .Serial numbers match on Barrel,frame, and slide .Left triggerguard stamped "MR". Nazi Eagle proofed on frame and slide. Waffenamt Eagle/WaW140 on frame and slide . Pistol has been professionally restored .A really beautiful job with a high polish blue finish. Shoulder stock slot has been filled in, and polished. Can't really notice it. All markings are very crisp and clear. Tangent rear sight. Note, The roller on the tangent sight was put on upside down when reassembled, easy fix. Bore is very good with strong rifling. Checkered brown plastic grips are good, except a the right panel has a small crack. "4" stamped on the magazine. NRA Condition-Very Good./Restored. C/R Firearm

Features parkerized finish, walnut stock with curved wrist & finger grooves, 24.5" barrel (dated 5-37), blade front sight (with snap-on protective cover), adjustable Lyman receiver mounted aperture sight, 5 round magazine, three-position safety, serrated trigger, knurled metal buttplate, sling swivels. The receiver ring is stamped "U.S./SPRINGFIELD/ARMORY/CAL. .22 M2" & "5930". The barrel is stamped "S.A./[flaming bomb]/5-37" & "LONG RIFLE/CART'GE ONLY". The bolt is marked "M2" and the bolt handle is stamped "NS/M2", "7" stamped under bolt stem. Underside of bolt body marked "5930" in electric pencil. Bolt raceway inside receiver shows parkerized finish, partly worn from operation of the bolt. Head of headspace adjustment screw is visible. Bore is very good condition. Retains 90% finish with handling marks, edge losses. Stock is very good overall, with slight erosion of finger groove edges, appears to be lightly sanded, with partial cartouche visible on left butt ("SA" over offset "R" in box), crisp circled "P" at bottom of grip. Metal surfaces are covered with floral scroll engraving throughout, with smooth blank areas on front strap and cylinder flutes. Finish is very good with no observed peeling or cracking, no yellowing and no cloudiness. Grips are very good condition with no cracks or major chips, only small blemishes from handling, small smoothed chip out of left panel. Serrated ramp front blade and tangent rear sights. Rough machined receiver, and bolt carrier. Serrated bolt hold open lever to the right of the charging handle locks/releases the bolt. Left receiver stamped "K.43 "qve 45". Waffenamt Eagle/214. Small waffenamt on top of receiver appears to be Eagle/WaAA44. Eagle/214 waffenamts on bolt carrier, bolt, rear sight, and front sight base. Serial number matched on receiver, bolt carrier, and stock. One small unreadable waffenamt stamped behind triggerguard. Unreadable waffenamt stamped on trigger. Bore is very good with strong rifling, but dirty. Blued metal finish is very good with some minor scratches/edge wear. Wood stock is good with a few minor scratches/dings. There is a 1" dent/chip on the right side forward of the trigger. Dark laminated handguard has scratches and finish loss from handling. Cupped steel buttplate is hinged for cleaning gear has some areas of surface rust. Cleaning rod present. Action is crisp/tight. Black enamel flat black finish with black plastic ribbed furniture. Bore appears very good but a little dark/dirty. Metal finish is very good with a few minor scratches. Features 20" round barrel, blade front sight, folding ladder rear sight, full length tube magazine, smooth trigger, case hardened hammer with knurled spur, steel frame with saddle ring, two-piece hand checkered walnut slide handle and smooth straight grip shoulder stock with carbine style metal buttplate. Rampant Colt on left side of receiver is thin, partially eroded across bottom. Bore is good condition, mostly bright with dark grooves, strong rifling. Barrel & mag tube display 80% coverage of a dark gray color finish, turning brown in places, with edge losses. Partial erosion of some letter in two line barrel address indicate possible reblue, probably some time ago. Several small shallow dents to magazine tube. Receiver is mostly patina brown, with darker gray coloration around screw heads and in protected areas. Bare metal on top tang and on edges. Small amount of original Colt bright blue on sides of bolt. Pump handle is very good condition, varnished, many small dents & dings. Stock is good solid condition, varnished, with slight shrinkage or erosion along tangs at buttplate toe. Includes letter from Colt archives stating the factory records for this rifle were lost or destroyed, but confirming the 1888 manufacture date. Tubular magazine in butt, smooth trigger, push button safety, serrated charging knob on the underside of the bolt, checkered walnut forend with high gloss finish and semi-pistol grip shoulder stock with serrated metal buttplate. Bore appears very good/bright, but a little dirty. Retains 95% polished blue with minor scratches/dings. There is spots of pin-prick pitting on the barrel.
