Custom built rolling block single shot rifle utilizing a vintage Remington No.1 receiver. Featured a Numrich Arms 28" part octagon heavy barrel, globe front sight with post insert, blank inserted into the rear sight dovetail, adjustable receiver mounted Lyman aperture sight, smooth trigger, knurled hammer spur, smooth walnut forend and straight grip shoulder stock with crescent metal buttplate. The barrel exhibits approximately 93% of it's blued finish showing edge wear, scattered scuffs and light scratches. The receiver displays nearly all of it's polished blued finish showing blemishes under the finish and some slightly jagged edges. Action is sound, the bore is excellent and the wood stocks are very good as the buttstock is slightly ill-fitting around the wrist. Condition is NRA Very Good. ***C&R Firearm***

Features a blued finish, 6 5/8" medium weight barrel, elevation adjustable blade front sight with bead top, dovetailed windage adjustable rear sight, smooth trigger, concealed hammer, manual safety/slide stop on the left side of the frame, heel magazine release, factory two-tone 10 round magazine, oval shaped knurling on the main spring housing, steel frame and two-piece fully checkered walnut grips. Includes the original factory cardboard box with labels, documents, screwdriver, cleaning tools and a healthy amount old masking tape keeping the box together. depicting cowboy on horseback, signed lower left 'O. Weighorst' with 2C brand. Image measures 9 1/2"x7 1/2" in carved wood frame with a gold painted wash and linen inset. Fine condition, He arrived in the U.S. in 1918, joining the U.S. Cavalry, & patrolled the Mexico border in New Mexico & Arizona . When he mustered out of the army, he drifted, ending up as a wrangler on the Cunningham Ranch near Alma, New Mexico. By the mid-twenties, Wieghorst was in New York City, working as a mounted policeman - his relationships with the many horses that were a part of his life became the common denominator of his paintings. Living in California by the end of WWII, he began a career that spiraled to success, in part due to his engaging personality. His paintings have appeared in numerous solo & retrospective exhibitions including the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum, Oklahoma City (1974), The Tucson Museum of Art, Arizona (1981), & the San Diego Historical Society, California (2002). -AskArt

Features a blued finish, 22" barrel, brass blade front sight, flip-up ladder style rear sight(stamped "C") graduated to 2,000 yards, single barrel band, side-mounted hinged magazine with cut-off on the left side of the receiver, straight bolt handle, Mauser style safety, smooth trigger, no sling swivels, smooth walnut handguard and straight grip shoulder stock with finger grooves in the forend & trapdoor metal buttplate. Rifle retains approximately 20% of it's thinned blued finish with some areas of light pitting on the barrel & magazine. Action is smooth, the bore is good, markings are clear and the refinished wood stocks are good the very good with blemishes. Condition is NRA Very Good. ***Antique Firearm***

OCTOBER 16. 1860-", dovetailed front sight with German silver blade, semi-buckhorn adjustable rear sporting sight, full-length tube magazine, smooth trigger, knurled hammer spur, sliding dust cover, grip safety, smooth walnut forend with metal cap and straight grip shoulder stock with crescent trapdoor buttplate. Includes a brown leather scabbard with basket weave tooling by Knox & Tanner of Rawlins, Wyoming. Rifle displays a smooth dark aged brown patina with traces of it's original bluing & some scattered pin prick pitting. Features a parkerized finish, 24" barrel marked "SA (flaming bomb) 11-42", blade front sight, windage adjustable ladder style rear sight graduated to 2,700 yards, bayonet lug, two barrel bands, cut-out in the receiver to accept the Pedersen device, internal 5 round box magazine with cut-off on the left side of the receiver, smooth trigger, turned-down bolt handle, three-position safety on the rear of the bolt, sling swivels, smooth full-length walnut handguard, and straight grip shoulder stock with finger grooves in the forend, trapdoor metal buttplate, circled "P" & "RIA/FK" inside a rectangle cartouche. Rifle retains a very high percentage of finish on the barrel & barrel bands with the balance of the metal surfaces showing heavy finish wear with little thinned finish remaining. Action is smooth, the bore is excellent, and the wood stocks are very good with scattered blemishes. Condition is NRA Good. ***C&R Firearm***
