The blue finish is about 90% with scratches, edge/handling wear, wood is good/sound with many minor scratches, mostly on the buttstock, bore has strong strong rifling with minor scattered light pitting. Scarce model 14-R carbine. Vintage take-down slide action repeating rifle chambered in .30 Remington, manufactured circa 1920, with a "C" over the serial number. Features a blued finish, 18" tapered barrel, dovetailed blade front sight with bead top, elevation adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sporting sight, 5 round tube magazine, smooth trigger, push button safety, take-down receiver, grooved walnut slide handle and smooth straight grip shoulder stock with checkered steel factory buttplate. The UMC cartridge case head on the receiver is faint. Rifle exhibits approximately 40% of it's original finish showing carry wear on the receiver, slide wear on the magazine tube & magazine connector. Action is crisp, the bore is pitted, rifling present, and the wood stocks are poor. Slide handle has been varnished and shows 3 large cracks. Repaired chip at the top the wrist. Approx 3" crack on the top of the wrist. Also multiple cracks extending from the receiver to the tang and some repairs at the top and bottom of wrist. Condition is poor. C&R Firearm.

Custom made rifle by "master Rifle Maker" Robert Hubner. 27" Krupp steel round/octagonal ribbed barrel with ramp bead front and flip 2-notch rear sights, "ROBERT HUBNER" and "DARMSTADT" on rib. blue receiver with "crown/ letter" proofs, double set triggers, Mauser 3-position safety on bolt shroud , 'butter knife' bolt handle and double claw mounts. Checkered two- piece pistol grip stock with ebony fore tip, and forearm spacers, horn grip cap, shadow line cheek piece. Bore is excellent/bright, action is smooth/tight, wood is very good with minor scratches/dings, and a little finish loss under the bolt handle. Blue finish is about 85% with friction wear on the bolt, and some handling loss on the bolt handle, bolt release, floor plate & barrel. NRA Condition-Very Good. C&R Firearm.

Trigger and hammer are color case hardened. Metal finish looks very good, with barely a trace of a drag line on the cylinder. Bore looks great, bright. Wood grips are fine.
