Stock is highly figured walnut with contrasting black forend tip , polyurethane finish, Skeletonized steel grip cap, European style sling swivel studs, Neidner style checkered steel butt plate, checkered wrap-around panel at forend, and checkered panels at wrist. shadow line cheek piece for right-handed shooting. Bore is excellent. Retains 98% dark high polish bluing, plum colored receiver. Stock is excellent with a few rub marks. Winchester 1895 - 100 Years of Conservation - US Forest Service, Tongass National Forest Centennial Rifle in 405 Winchester, 1 of 100 manufactured in 2002, 24" barrel, brand new in its box. The engraved figures illustrate a number of Tongass National Forest characteristics and historic features. On one side of the receiver, you see the Tongass National Forest and the centennial dates. Teddy Roosevelt smiling at you,”An eagle soars, a bear starring at you above the trigger, the magazine reads, “Big Medicine,” the name Teddy gave his .405 on his African hunt in 1909. On the other side of the receiver, you see “Ninety Six of One Hundred” among filigreed vines embellishing the magazine. Above it on the left floats a Forest Service ranger boat, the “Tongass Ranger.” To the left of the Tongass Ranger is a totem pole, representative of the traditionally close ties the forest has to the Tlingit, Haida, and Tsimshian peoples. To the right of the Tongass Ranger is the Forest Service shield. And higher up on the receiver is the recognition that the Forest Service has been engaged in “100 Years of Conservation” on the Tongass National Forest. Features a matte nickel plated finish with polished flats, 5.25" Bar-Sto threaded barrel, serrated ramp front sight, fully-adjustable Bo-Mar rear sight, smooth trigger, serrated hammer spur, extended thumb safety on the left side of the frame, oversized push button magazine release, 13 round magazine, steel frame with checkered front strap and custom checkered dark wood grips. Pistol exhibits nearly all of its custom finish showing only superficial handling marks. Action is mechanically sound with a crisp trigger pull (consignor stated the action work was done by Nelson Ford), the bore is pristine and wood grips are excellent. Colt Single Action Army .45 Colt SN: 73231

1st Generation' Single action revolver manufactured circa 1882. Features 7-1/2" barrel, fixed sights, single piece walnut grip, center pin held by screw, contoured ejector rod head. Bore is good condition, several pitted areas, some strong rifling present. Charge holes are very good. Metal surfaces are a slightly mottled brown with some gray color, some small traces of blue in protected areas, some bare metal on edges. Wood grip is good condition, with some small traces of what appears to be white paint, should clean off. Serial number matched on frame, triggerguard, back strap, and cylinder. Assembly number "7699" on the loading gate. One line Colt address on top of the barrel, 3 line patent dates on the left frame, and left triggerguard marked "45 CAL". Matching cylinder stamped "D.F.C.", which shows this pistol was inspected for Military use at one time, no U.S. stamp, sold commercially by Colt. Action is smooth, all markings clear/readable. Comes with a great holster rig, a California style "Slim Jim" brown leather holster with period belt. Some separation on the upper right of the holster, both belt and holster are intact, have seen hard use. Includes Colt factory letter that confirms the configuration of this revolver. It was one of ten revolvers shipped to Liddle & Keading Company, San Francisco, California on February 27th, 1882. Also included with the letter is a history of this Company. (Wells Fargo shotguns were obtained from Liddle & Kaeding) Condition is NRA Very Good. Antique Firearm.

Winchester Model 95 Musket Russian 7.62mm

SN: 392999, WW1 era, manufactured 1918. This Model 1895 Russian musket was manufactured by the Winchester Repeating Arms Company for the Imperial Russian government. Winchester manufactured 293,816 Model 1895 Muskets for the Czarist government during WW1. Also referred to as the Model 1915, this rifle was chambered for the 7.62X54 Russian cartridge. The Model 1915 Muskets had a clip guide on the receiver top, folding leaf rear sights"and upper barrel with stacking swivel and bayonet lug. The rifle has a full length forearm has a narrow grasping groove and military style handguard. The stock has a carbine style buttplate with butt trap and sliding trap door. Sling swivel studs The top of the receiver is roll-stamped with the Winchester oval "W/P" proof mark (Over stamped with Russian inspectors mark "U" & "3") above: "7.62/M.M." in two lines. The elongated Winchester legend and patent dates are roll-stamped on the upper left side of the receiver. The upper tang is roll-stamped: "MODEL 1895/-WINCHESTER-/TRADE MARK REG.U.S. PAT. OFF.& FGN." in three lines. The serial number is stamped across the lower tang. "B" is stamped on the underside of the lever & on the lower tang. Imperial Russian inspection mark " Xn3" in square is stamped on the right receiver. Bore is dark with strong rifling, action is smooth, Blue is about 30% with handling/edge wear, scattered areas of pin-prick pitting, woos has seen hard use with many chips, scratches & dings. "ARFM" is carved in the right buttstock, "FAI" carved in the left, and there are 3 notches carved on the top of the comb above buttstock tang, look period done. No imports marks, rare rifle, it appears the only ones found in this Country are bring backs. NRA Condition-Fair. C&R Firearm.

Sling swivel studs The top of the receiver is roll-stamped with the Winchester oval "W/P" proof mark (Over stamped with Russian inspectors mark "U" & "3") above: "7.62/M.M." in two lines. The elongated Winchester legend and patent dates are roll-stamped on the upper left side of the receiver. The upper tang is roll-stamped: "MODEL 1895/-WINCHESTER-/TRADE MARK REG.U.S. PAT. OFF.& FGN." in three lines. The serial number is stamped across the lower tang. "B" is stamped on the underside of the lever & on the lower tang. Imperial Russian inspection mark " Xn3" in square is stamped on the right receiver. Bore is dark with strong rifling, action is smooth, Blue is about 30% with handling/edge wear, scattered areas of pin-prick pitting, woos has seen hard use with many chips, scratches & dings. "ARFM" is carved in the right buttstock, "FAI" carved in the left, and there are 3 notches carved on the top of the comb above buttstock tang, look period done. No imports marks, rare rifle, it appears the only ones found in this Country are bring backs. NRA Condition-Fair. C&R Firearm.
