1897 Crescent Western Wheel Works Bicycle

Model 10 made in Chicago, IL. With wood wheel rims and a rear wood fender. Part of front Metal 'Crescent No. 10' stamp is missing and has broken into two pieces. Seat is coming apart due to age and one of the leather handgrips is still partially intact on the metal handlebars. Very nice collectors bike. Fender has been repaired. Comes with a 'Solar' kerosene light by 'Badger Brass Mfg Co. Kenosha Wisc.' and a brown leather holster.

Harpers Ferry Model 1841 US .54 Cal NVSN

'Mississippi Rifle' Early U.S. military muzzle loading percussion rifle chambered for .54 caliber ammunition, manufactured circa 1848. The model 1841 received it's nicknamed from the Mississippi Regiment who had great success with the rifle during the Mexican War. Features a browned 33" barrel, brass blade front sight, dovetailed rear sight with 'v' notch, smooth trigger, knurled hammer spur, steel ram rod with brass trumpet shaped tip, sling swivels, brass furniture, and smooth walnut straight grip shoulder stock with brass buttplate & patch box. The lock is marked [Eagle/Crossed Arrows]/"U.S." & "HARPERS/FERRY/1848", the stock is stamped with two visible cartouches that this describer cannot identify and the buttplate is stamped "U" and what appears to be an "F". Small inspector marks have also been observed such as a "C" on the front barrel band and "H" on the barrel. The iron surfaces display a mottled aged grey/brown patina and the brass furniture displays a lovely aged patina. The barrel was altered to accept a bayonet at some time and has filled in holes on the right side of the at 1.5" & 3" from the muzzle. Action is sound, the bore appears excellent and the wood stock is near fine. Condition is near NRA Fine. ***Antique Firearm***

Spencer Civil War Carbine .50 RF SN: 29109

Post-war armory altered breech-loading lever action repeating rifle chambered in .50 Rimfire, manufactured circa 1863-1865. The Spencer was adapted by the Union Army during the American Civil War and was the world's first military metallic cartridge repeating rifle. Springfield Armory altered over 11,000 Spencer carbines circa 1867-1874. A scarce and very unusual 19th century American officers sword with a pommel in the shape of George Washington's head. Black leather covered spiral grip. Sword is in a decorated all metal scabbard. The scabbard is fitted with three metal hanging rings and heavily embossed mounts and is missing the end cap by M.C. Lily of Columbus, Ohio. The shell guard with an American eagle motif and 6 flags. Overall length is 36". A very decorative sword. The blade is 28" in length and in reasonably good condition showing excellent etching and engraved with the officer's name. It shows signs of wear and use.

Antique Civil War era percussion rifle converted to fire 20 gauge shells, manufactured circa 1863-1866. Features a 22" round barrel, German silver blade front sight, flip-up ladder style rear sight(missing slider), rounded trigger, knurled hammer spur, sling bar, integral pellet priming system, 'j' shaped finger lever, single barrel band, smooth walnut forend and straight grip shoulder stock with smooth metal buttplate. The barrel shows the first few characters of "NEW Model" and has a small "F" stamped into the left side. The receiver has a small letter "S" and has the partial patent date "SEP. 12th 1848". Rifle exhibits a aged dark grey/brown patina with scattered pitting(primarily on the receiver). The upper tang has been repaired from what looks to be a break around the upper screw hole. Action performs well, the bore is fair and the wood stocks are also fair with repairs, cracks & blemishes. Condition is near NRA Good ***Antique Firearm***

'Grade 1, Long Tang' Belgium made over/under double barrel shotgun chambered for 2 3/4" 12 gauge shells, manufactured circa 1960. Features a blued finish, skeet choked 28" barrels with ventilated sighting rib, automatic ejectors, ivory bead sights, light coverage floral scroll engraving on the receiver, gold single selective trigger, sliding tang safety/barrel selector and hand checkered walnut forend and semi-pistol grip shoulder stock with round knob & Browning buttplate. Barrels retain approximately 95% bluing showing light muzzle wear, slide wear from the forend and some freckles of minor surface rust. The receiver shows carry wear with approximately 70 thinned bluing intact. Action is smooth, the bores are mirror bright with debris forward of the chambers and the wood stocks are good to very good with worn points, scattered blemishes & finish loss.
