'Jungle Carbine' WWII era British military magazine fed bolt action service rifle chambered in .303 British, manufactured circa 1945. Features a black painted finish, 20.5" barrel with cone style flash suppressor & bayonet lug, shrouded patridge front sight, flip-up aperture rear sight graduated to 800 meters, smooth trigger, manual safety on the left side of the receiver, 10 round detachable magazine, hollowed bolt knob, 'lightning cuts' on the receiver, barrel & bottom metal, rubber recoil pad, and three-piece smooth walnut stocks with oil finish. Includes a "RFI" marked reproduction bayonet. The left side of the butt socket is marked "M/47C", "1945" & "BE0893" and the left side of the receiver is marked "No.5.Mk.1." The barrel is stamped with proof house markings. Serial numbers match on the receiver and forend. Rifle retains approximately 88% of it's black paint finish showing scattered handling marks/scratches and edge wear. Action is smooth, the bore is mostly bright with good rifling & scattered dark pitting, and the wood stocks are very good. Condition is near NRA Very Good. ***C&R Firearm***

Leupold 1" scope rings are attached to the top of receiver. NRA Condition-Very Good. Modern firearm.

Sharps Patent 1859" & "C. Sharps & Co. Philada, PA." markings, and two-piece checkered hard rubber grips. Barrels retain nearly 20% original bluing with the balance turned to patina and the frame exhibits approximately 15% original silver plating with the balance displaying a lovely aged patina. Serial numbers match on the frame, barrel extension, magazine catch and magazine safety. No import marks. Pistol exhibits approximately 75% of it's blued finish showing some light surface rust and pin prick pitting. The action is smooth but nonworking as the pistol does not have a proper firing pin extension or firing pin spring and the firing pin itself appears damaged. Action is smooth, the bore is excellent, markings are crisp, and the wood stocks are good with blemishes & a 1" hairline crack on the right side of the wrist. Features a 32.5" tapered barrel, pinned blade front sight affixed to the front sight base/bayonet lug, Model 1877 third variation tangent/flip-up ladder rear sight graduated to 1,200 yards, 3rd variation cleaning rod, stacking swivel, two barrel bands, smooth trigger, knurled hammer spur, 2nd variation lock plate, 1st variation trigger plate/guard, 6th variation breech block, sling swivels and full-length straight grip walnut shoulder stock with "U.S." marked metal buttplate. Markings: Breechblock - "U.S./MODEL/1873". Barrel - "V/P/Eagle Head", "P", "R" & "D". Stock - script "P" inside a circle & "SWP/1883" cartouche. Lock - [Eagle]/[Arrows] & "U.S./Springfield". & both Barrel Bands - "U". Rifle exhibits scattered pin prick pitting throughout, an aged dark brown patina on the barrel, and a mottled light/dark patina on the balance of the metal surfaces with some finish retained on the lock.
