Oil on Board by Charlie Bear

Depicting a single Indian. Signed lower right corner. Image 10-1/2" high x 13-1/2" wide. In white frame 20" high x 17" wide. Charlie Bear is a resident of Virginia City, Montana, his paintings reflect his love of the Northern Plains during the era of the 1850s. He has been a long-time participant in the C.M. Russell Auction.

(2) Pre Columbian effigy clay figurines. Both animal figures. (1) Most likely a paint cup or oil burner 3" long x 2" tall x 1-3/4" wide. (1) Most likely an incense burner 3-3/4" long x 2" wide x 2" tall. Back legs missing. Both excavated Yucatan Peninsula 1940's. Collection of (33) Clay beads, excavated in Central America in the 1940's. Average size 3/4" diameter. Some plain, some with carved designs. Mostly black with a few brown and (1) white bead.

1/40 Scale Model of PT-109 Motor Torpedo Boat

Lot # 467 (Sale Order: 675 of 848)      

In original shipping crate. Circa 1960's. The PT-109 belonged to the PT 103 class, hundreds of which were completed between 1942 and 1945 by Elco. The Elco boats were the largest PT boats operated by the U.S. Navy during World War II. LTJG John F. Kennedy took command of PT-109 on 23 April 1943. The PT-109 was sunk August 2,1943.
