Features a parkerized finish with some blued parts, undated 18" Saginaw S.G. barrel, shrouded blade front sight marked “N”, adjustable rear aperture sight marked “H.I.”, "JM" marked wide barrel band with bayonet lug, rotary style safety, M2 push button magazine release stamped with an underlined "M", no magazine, smooth trigger, milled triggerguard, flat bolt, unmarked recoil shield, two-rivet walnut handguard with narrow groove and birch M2 semi-pistol grip shoulder stock with low-wood forend, oval cut oiler slot, textured metal buttplate & Italian “[star]/FAT/69” in a rectangle marking. Rifle retains approximately 80% finish overall showing action wear, edge wear and some scattered browning patina. Matching serial numbers are found on the frame, crane and on the backs of both grip panels (scratched). Revolver retains approximately 90% of its original blued finish showing light edge wear, scattered handling marks/scratches and finish loss on the grip straps. Engraved antique single action six-shot revolver chambered for the .45 Colt black powder cartridge, manufactured circa 1881. Features period style ‘C’ coverage scroll engraving, a nickel plated refinish, 7 1/2" barrel with one line address, blade front sight, v-notched rear sight, ejector rod, fluted cylinder, three line patent markings on the frame, ".45 CAL" marking on trigger guard, smooth thin trigger, bordered & underlined knurling on the hammer spur, and one-piece checkered ivory grip. Matching serial numbers are found on the frame, trigger guard, backstrap and grip(on inner wood portion). Includes a Colt factory letter stating its configuration at the time of manufacture as a .45 Colt with nickel finish, and likely having a 7 ½” barrel & walnut grip. The letter also states that it was shipped to J. P. Moores Sons in New York, New York on January 6, 1881 in a 60 gun shipment. Revolver retains approximately 40% of its bright nickel plated refinish with bare metal in the balance showing a browning patina and a minor amount of scattered surface rust. Action is sound with all four clicks & good lock-up, the bore shows good luster & rifling with some scattered pitting, the markings are very good, and the checkered ivory grip is good showing age with some cracks & repairs. Features a blued refinish, 22” barrel with FN address, 2/3 length 11 round tubular magazine, dovetailed bead top blade front sight, dovetailed elevation adjustable flat-top rear sporting sight, smooth trigger, concealed hammer, push button safety, take-down steel receiver with round tang, grooved walnut slide handle and smooth semi-pistol grip shoulder stock with round knob & smooth metal buttplate. Matching serial numbers are found in three places on the metal. Rifle retains approximately 20% of its old blued refinish showing some light scattered pitting & rust with the balance of the metal surfaces displaying an aged brown patina.
