Colt Model 1908 Pocket Hammerless 380 ACP Semi-Automatic Pistol

Manufactured in 1930. Fixed sights, with the two-line address and patent marking on the left side of the slide, the Rampant Colt behind the serrations, caliber on the right side, and "75" and "3/VP" on the trigger guard. Finish is full nickel, with a set of smooth mother of pearl grips and a nickel finished magazine marked "CAL.380/COLT".

Class: Curio & Relic Handgun

Very fine with 95% plus original nickel finish. With the exception of some patches of pitting under and around the grip panels, the exterior is in exceptional shape, showing some light handling marks. The grips are very fine, with a bit of light wear. Mechanically excellent.

Manufactured between 1915 and 1917. The Model 1915 hammerless is the rarest of the regular production Savage semi-automatic pistols with approximately 6,500 manufactured in .32 automatic. Fixed sights, "SAVAGE" marked on the left side of the frame, and two-line address/caliber/1905 patent date marking on top of the slide. Fitted with black checkered grips with the Savage Indian head trademark.

Colt Model 1900 Pistol w/Factory Letter

Colt Model 1900 Sight Safety Conversion Semi-Automatic Pistol with Factory Letter

According to the included factory letter, this Model 1900 was part of a 5-piece shipment to the George Tritch Hardware Company of Denver, Colorado, on June 20, 1902. Blade front and factory fixed rear sights, with the forward-oriented serrations on the matching numbered slide which bears the two-line/two-block ""BROWNING'S PATENT"" markings on the left side and caliber markings on the right. Fitted with a niter blue trigger, casehardened spur hammer, nickel finished "1184" dated magazine and a pair of checkered Colt banner grips with Rampant Colt imprints.

Fine as converted by factory with 50% of the original blue finish, showing areas of gray patina, bright edge wear, and scattered scratches and handling marks. The grips are very good, with some dents and flat spots. Mechanically excellent.

Manufactured in 1932. Fixed sights, the two-line Colt address and patent dates on the left side of the slide ahead of the Rampant Colt, the caliber markings on the right, and the trigger guard marked "75" on the right and "1/VP" on the left. Finish is full blue, with a pair of checkered Colt medallion grips and a two-tone "CAL.380/COLT" magazine. A Colt "black box" is included, containing a "Special Instructions" pamphlet and an instruction sheet/parts list.

Excellent, with 98% plus original blue finish, showing some light handling marks and edge wear overall. The grips are also excellent, with some dings and verdigris buildup. The replacement box is worn, with more than one non-matching number on the underside and tearing/absence of the labels. Mechanically excellent.

Manufactured in 1921. Fixed sights, with the two line address and patent dates on the left side of the slide, "COLT/AUTOMATIC/CALIBRE .45" on the right, "W/VP" and "61" on the trigger guard, and "GOVERNMENT MODEL" on the frame. Long smooth trigger, wide checkered hammer, short grip safety, smooth mainspring housing, checkered grips, replacement unmarked two-tone pinned base magazine, and a "P" marked barrel with a polished chamber hood.

Very good, with 50% of the blue finish, mixed areas of artificial brown touch-ups overall, edge wear, and scattered spotting and handling marks. A small amount of pitting is present on the trigger guard and the front sides of the dust cover, as well as some takedown marks on the frame. The grips are fine, with some dents and dings. Mechanically excellent.

1920 Production Colt Government Model Semi-Automatic Pistol with Extra Magazine

Manufactured in 1920. Fixed sights with the two-line address and patent markings on the left side of the slide, and "COLT AUTOMATIC/CALIBRE .45" and the Rampant Colt on the right ahead of the ejection port. Marked "GOVERNMENT MODEL" above the serial number on the right side of the frame, with "W/VP" and "82" on the trigger guard. Later production replacement wide checkered hammer, short milled trigger, long grip safety and a later production replacement arched checkered mainspring housing. Fitted with checkered grips, two commercially marked two-tone magazines, and later blued barrel marked "P" on the underside.

Very fine as assembled (see above) with 95% of the original blue finish, showing some scattered scratches, dents and handling marks, along with a thin takedown line on the frame and some light edge wear. The grips are very fine, with some dents and dark spots. Mechanically excellent.

Fitted with a pair of checkered Colt medallion grips. With an unlabeled black leatherette box containing a test target (marked for this revolver, but with 22 caliber holes in the target).

WWII Colt New Service, "M.P." Marked, Matching Box

Excellent World War II Production Royal Canadian Mounted Police Marked Colt New Service Double Action Revolver with Box

Manufactured in 1943, with "M.P." on the heel of the butt and "NO.2735" on the back strap. While not documented, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police used the New Service in 455 Webley and 45 Colt through much of the early 20th century, including into the 1940s. Blade front and notch rear sights, the two-line Hartford address and patent dates on top of the barrel, "NEW SERVICE 45 COLT" on the left side of the barrel, "VP" and "Y" on the left side of the trigger guard and the Rampant Colt on the side plate. The knurled hammer, cylinder catch and smooth trigger are finished in a dark royal blue, with polished sides on the hammer. Fitted with a lanyard swivel and a pair of "COLT" imprint grips. With a Colt "black box" hand-numbered to the revolver, with appropriate white-on-blue end label and a test target for a different revolver.

Documented Factory Engraved Colt Army Special Revolver with Pearl Grips and Factory Letter

The accompanying factory letter lists this revolver with a 6 inch barrel in .32-20 caliber, nickel finish, pearl grips, and factory engraving when sold to Rogers & Baldwin Hardware Co. of Springfield, Missouri and shipped to Simmons Hardware Co. of St. Louis, Missouri, on July 27, 1912. 60% of the surface features engraved scrollwork on punch dot background patterns accented with floral blossoms and geometric motifs of entwining lines, zig zag lines, and dots. It has standard Colt markings and Rampant Colt medallion pearl grips.

Fine, retaining 75% frosted original nickel finish with the balance a smooth gray patina. The front sight has been trimmed. 50% original niter blue finish remains on the trigger and hammer. The grips are very fine showing a hairline crack on left forward panel, minimal handling evidence and highly attractive color. Mechanically excellent.

Engraved Colt Pocket Positive Double Action Revolver with Pearl Grips and Box

Manufactured in 1920, this engraved Colt revolver has exquisite hand engraving which covers virtually every metal surface of the gun. A richly detailed ivy pattern envelops the barrel, frame, cylinder, trigger guard, back strap, and butt. The bright nickel is accented by the hammer, cylinder release button, ejector rod, and trigger, which are midnight blue finished. Fixed front sight and smooth cylinder flutes. Smooth pearl grips are inlaid with nickel Colt medallions in each side. Included is a Colt black box.

Very fine as period engraved, possibly by the factory. The engraving remains clear and the nickel finish is 85% plus remaining. Some very light pitting and handling marks are scattered around gun. Grips are slightly scratched and chipped. Mechanically functions but is slightly out of time. The unnumbered box is faded but in very good condition.

1940 Production Colt Officers Model Heavy Barrel Target Double Action Revolver with Box

Manufactured in 1940. Elevation adjustable Patridge blade front and windage adjustable rear notch sights, with standard barrel markings and the Rampant Colt on the side plate. The trigger guard is marked "VP" and "Y". Fitted with a checkered hammer, trigger, and medallion grips. With a properly labeled Colt "black box", instruction sheet and barrel brush.

Class: Curio & Relic Handgun

Excellent, with 97% plus original blue finish, showing some light handling marks, edge wear and spotting. The grips are excellent, with a few light pressure dings. Box is good as renumbered to the revolver, with tape repairs and overall wear. Mechanically excellent.

Factory Inscribed Nickel Colt Official Police Double Action Revolver with Box and Factory Letter

The letter confirms the overall configuration (grips not listed but are standard) and the "V.R. Simpson" inscription on the back strap. The letter also indicates the revolver was charged to "Arms Selling Expense" and was the sole gun of this type shipped to Smith Wadsworth Hardware Company in Charlotte, North Carolina, on September 30, 1930, in factory order 18819/1. V.R. Simpson is listed in period directories as a Charlotte police officer. Other than the inscription, the revolver has standard markings and features. The box has the matching number in pencil on the bottom and coordinating end label. It contains reprinted papers.

Very fine overall with 95% plus original nickel plating, some small spots of light flaking, minor frosting, light scratches and marks, and crisp checkering and markings. Mechanically excellent. The box is good with moderate storage wear, including some creasing, flaking, and slight tears.

Colt Police Positive Double Action Revolver with Pearl Grips and Box

Manufactured in 1925 with standard markings and features other than the special mother of pearl grips. The double-numbered box has "214405" followed by "10124" in a separate bracket and has a small "PEARL" label on the end label. Reprinted papers and a brass cleaning rod are also included.

Very fine with 95% plus original blue finish, some light oxidation, minor edge wear, and light marks and scratches. The grips are very good and have minor handling wear and a couple small chips. Mechanically excellent. The box is very good and has mild storage wear including some flaking.
