Harding along with a large assortment of boxed Eley ammunition, most of which appears to be handgun calibers including 7.65 mm Auto, .32 S&W, 7 mm Pinfire Shot, .380 Long, and .450 Eley. Most of the boxes appear to contain the majority of their compliment of cartridges. The book is excellent with minimal wear and the cartridge boxes are generally fine showing mostly mild wear.

However, our records do indicate the return of this revolver for refurbishing and subsequent reshipment as noted above."

U.S. Colt Single Action Army Revolver with Holster
Lot # 4273 (Sale Order: 274 of 1156)
This Colt SAA revolver began as a U.S. Cavalry model revolver (HN inspected) and was subsequently refurbished with the U.S. removed. All re-stamped markings are clear with the exception of the "U.S." which has been filed off of the left side of frame. "HN" is marked on most of the major parts as well as "P" on the underside of the barrel and on the cylinder. The partial serial number "9873" is marked on the underside of the barrel and on the cylinder and the complete serial number is marked on the frame, trigger guard and backstrap. Three line, three patent dates on the left side of the frame without the Rampant Colt. "38" is stamped on the backstrap below the serial number and the loading gate is marked with batch number "1723". Smooth varnished walnut grips. According to the accompanying factory letter, this is one of 200 revolvers delivered to the U.S. Government inspector at the Colt plant on August 23, 1878. With a leather holster.
