Antique Colt Bisley Flattop Target Frontier Six Shooter Single Action Army Revolver in Desirable .44-40 Caliber with Factory Letter

Very scarce in that only 78 were reportedly produced in .44-40 caliber. Pinned brass blade front and notch rear sights. Matching full numbers on frame, trigger guard and back strap as well as matching partial number on rear cylinder face. Factory letter lists revolver with a 7 1/2" barrel in .44-40 caliber, blue finish, hard rubber stocks, flattop frame and Lyman sights when sold and shipped to Storrs Cander (address not listed) on November 23, 1897.
