Gentleman's Cane with Silver Furniture and Antique Ivory Handle

34 1/2 inches overall, with an iron ferrule (sans tip) on the bamboo shaft. The 4 inch long handle is constructed from antique ivory with a knobbed surface, secured with a silver collar marked "STERLING" and decorated with the initials "F/P/P" and a sculpted scene of a nude woman reclining among waves. Good overall, with denting of the ferrule, fine patina and detail on the collar, and some age cracks and signs of shortening on the handle.

Both canes are 35 1/2" OAL and feature horn tips, ebony shafts with a "football" cross section, and short antique ivory heads with similar cross sections. 1) Cane, with "G.S" on the head. Good, with minor age cracks. 2) Cane, with a thin gold band below the head and "CAC" monogram on top. Fair, with scuffs, cracks and a loose band.

Blade heavily pitted, sheath rough. 3) Wostenholm dagger, 9" OAL, 5" spear point blade, stag and German silver grips, leather sheath. Fair, blade dark. 4) Wostenholm "I*XL" dagger, 9 3/4" OAL, 6" spear point blade, stag grips. Good as cleaned.

Gentleman's Cane with a Carved Figural Baby Bird Themed Head

Measuring 36 inches tall, with a black horn tip on a tapered hardwood shaft, 1 3/20 inch thick at the top, with a 2 1/4 inch tall carved antique ivory head depicting a baby bird breaking free of it's egg. A threaded joint about 23 inches up the shaft allows the cane to be broken down for storage or transport. The shaft shows mild scuffs and a few small repairs, with the head showing attractive grain, color and detail.

Fine Gentleman's Cane with Carved Skull Head

31 inches overall, with a half inch diameter ebony shaft, with a metal collar and a 1 3/8 inch tall antique ivory carving of a human skull, sans jawbone. A small channel is drilled in the base of the skull, suitable for a thin cord or lanyard. The shaft has been broken, with the tip section absent, and the skull shows mild age cracks and chips.

Fine Spanish Sword Cane

Measuring 36 1/4 inches long when closed, the cane has an iron tip in a German silver ferrule, 1 inch diameter wood shaft, and a knob-shaped horn and ebony head. Drawn, the sword is 21 1/4 inches overall, with a 14 3/4 inch niter blue/gold washed single edge blade with "TOLEDO" on the left and a spring loaded retainer. The head is a bit off kilter, otherwise good overall.
