Designed by famed American marksman Willard Milton "Mitt" Farrow in the 1880s and manufactured in limited numbers into the early 20th century. "M. Guy 1998 'SQUARE BALL' SEDONA,/AZ." marked inside forend. With consignor research on Farrow, a copy of his book "How I Became a Crack Shot With Hints to Beginners", and a generic hard case.

Class: Curio & Relic Long Gun

Very fine, refinished with light handling evidence, receiver polished bright and scattered minor spotting. The wood shows dings, some cracks at the wrist and toe, and a repair on the right side, forend is replacement. Mechanically fine.

Manufactured in 1879, subsequently fitted with Model 1884 rear sight. Barrel and forend shortened.
