Deep spot of pitting in the bore a few inches back from the muzzle. Refinished wood with a few hairline cracks, minor repairs, and handling marks. Mechanically fine.

Colt 10 Gauge Model 1883 Double Barrel Shotgun with Factory Letter

The included factory letter confirms the current gauge, "Blue" finish, special flat matte rib, and stock configuration when it was shipped to J. P. Lovell Arms Company of Boston, MA, on August 6, 1890. The barrel length is recorded as 30", though this appears to be a factory error. Chambers measured 2 7/8" with extractor and 13 3/4" LOP.

Very good, original finish turned brown with strong Damascus patterns, grey/brown action with a few pits, mild handling evidence, a few marks in the wood, and mostly crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Guy 1998 'SQUARE BALL' SEDONA,/AZ." marked inside forend. With consignor research on Farrow, a copy of his book "How I Became a Crack Shot With Hints to Beginners", and a generic hard case.

Originally manufactured as a percussion saddle ring carbine c. 1865-1866. A shaved-down nickel has been installed as a replacement front sight, and the rear sight modified to a fixed notch.

Fair, with a mixed brown patina on the metal, heat discoloration around the front sight, light pitting, and a break in the upper tang. The wood is fair, sanded and refinished, with cracks and areas of filler. Barrel bulged and cleaned. Breechblock is loose, hammer falls off half cock.

The trigger guard is marked "WF & CO EXP/560". Includes a letter (copy) from Wells Fargo collector Cecil H. Hart stating the shotgun came from the Williams, Arizona Wells Fargo office via a private collection. With 2 3/4" chambers, cylinder chokes, and 14" LOP.

Included factory letter lists 12 gauge, 32 inch barrel, receipt at warehouse on 30 July 1890, and shipment on 5 August 1890. Includes a photograph labeled as being of P.R. Landon, a Wells Fargo stagecoach driver.

Colt First Generation Single Action Army Revolver with Pearl Grips and Wells Fargo Presentation Case

Manufactured in 1913. With a wood case designed for two SAAs (second gun not included) featuring an empty cartridge block. The exterior of the lid has a brass inscription plaque that reads, "R.A. WELLS/GEN. MANAGER/1908/W.F.&CO. EX./KANSAS CITY MO." Period sources confirm R.A. Wells was a Wells Fargo general manager in Kansas City.

Good overall with replacement barrel and ejector rod, metal surfaces have a bright appearance with some scattered pitting, replacement grips with highly attractive fiery colors and repaired chip on left panel. Mechanically fine. Case is very good.

"W.F. & Co." Marked Colt New Army & New Navy Double Action Revolver Formerly of Actor Dale Robertson's Collection with Memorabilia and Copy Factory Letter

Manufactured 1905, "W.F. & Co." stamped on the butt. Included copy of factory letter confirms the configuration (grips not listed) and shipment to Watkins-Cottrell Co. in Richmond, Virginia on 29 April 1905. Also included a signed photograph of Hollywood actor Dale Robertson stating that this revolver was previously part of his personal collection, another photograph of Robertson, and a Robertson trading card.

Rare and Desirable Wells Fargo Marked Agent's Lap Desk and Messenger Bag

The grouping includes a leather bound portable/lap desk that has a the gilt marking "WELLS FARGO/S F CAL/1894" on the lid as well as a brass plate marked "J.G. LEONARD/AGENT". The leather is nicely tooled and the interior contains many compartments of different sizes. Also included is a leather bag marked on the front with "W.F.& Co.Express/MESSENGER" with a laminated 1918 dated port of San Francisco water-front pass for Wells Fargo messenger R.L. Saling.

Both are good with some mild wear and age-related cracking on the leather and a few absent pieces of leather on the desk.
