Manufactured 1899, "Am. Exp. Co. No. 416" faintly marked on back strap. Included factory letter confirms the configuration (grips not listed) including the inscription, as well as shipment to the American Railway Express Co. in Chicago on 11 May 1899.

Class: Curio & Relic Handgun

Fine, with most of the refinished blue/case colors, some scattered light pitting beneath the finish, and some mild wear and light handling marks on the grips. Mechanically fine in double action, does not hold at full cock in single action.

Winchester Deluxe Model 1886 Lightweight Lever Action Rifle

Special Order Winchester Deluxe Model 1886 Lever Action Lightweight Takedown Short Rifle with Factory Letter

Factory letter states rifle was received in the warehouse on June 15, 1905 amd shipped the next day with a 22 inche round barrel in .45-70 caliber, plain trigger, takedown configuration, checkered pistol grip stock, half magazine, rubber shotgun buttplate, extra lightweight configuration, and Winchester high velocity. The letter also provided a return and repair date: August 11,1915. Lyman beaded blade front sight, filler block in rear sight dovetail, and Lyman receiver sight. Left side of lower tang marked "665 XX." Assembly number "665" repeated on stock inlet.

Very fine overall as professionally refinished with minimal handling marks, crisp forend and stock checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Very fine as professionally restored, slightly lightened markings and some small handling evidence. The wood is also very fine with a few scattered scratches and nearly all of the case colors on the buttplate. Mechanically excellent.

Produced in the mid to late 1920's, from an oil painting "Tex and His Horse, Patches" by Frank Schoonover, which depicts a western lawman on his horse, Colt SAA with ornate handle visible on his hip, amid desert scenery. The text "Colt's/The Arm of Law and Order" is added to the top. Mounted in a wooden frame measuring 22 inches wide and 27 1/2 inches tall.

Very good as trimmed to current size, with some minor tears and foxing around the edges, metal band trimmed off of the top and bottom, showing good color and detail. The frame has some light handling marks.

As confirmed by the factory letter the butt is marked "W.F. & Co." on the butt.

Pinkerton Agency Marked Antique Colt Model 1877 Thunderer Double Action Revolver with Factory Letter, Badge, and Actor Dale Robertson Memorabilia

Manufactured 1890, "PINKERTON/AGENCY/389" and "JOHN P. McPHARLAND/DENVER" stamped on the left and right of the frame respectively. Included factory letter confirms the configuration and shipment to E.C. Meacham Arms Co. in St. Louis on 29 April 1890. With a "PINKERTON/NATIONAL/DETECTIVE/AGENCY" marked badge and a print of a Dale Robertson signed photograph (signature printed on photo) and a Dale Robertson trading card. Robertson featured in many Western television shows and movies, some involving the Pinkerton agency and Wells Fargo.

The included factory letter lists this revolver in .45 Colt with a 7 1/2 inch barrel, blue finish, and grips not listed when shipped to Norvell Shapleigh Hardware Company in St. Louis, Missouri on June 1, 1907 in a 10 gun shipment. Left Sideplate and backstrap both marked "AMEXCO/668", possibly an inventory marking of American Express Company. Interior of left grip hand marked "1930/APRIL 20/TO NY/ZIEBARTH" and interior of right grip hand marked "V.H. Texas".

Money Orders For Sale Here" in three lines, and a a 90 degree mounting bracket with four holes.
