Manufactured 1921, with saddler ring on left side of receiver and plain pistol grip stock. The side of lower tang marked "7828 CF." Butt of stock marked "94/7828." Buttplate lacks an assembly number.

Very good with refinished barrel with pitting, bright receiver with oxidation, some chipping and stress line at upper tang, splice repair at buttplate tang. Mechanically excellent.

Colt First Generation Single Action Army Revolver with Factory Letter

Revolver has be renumbered. Factory letter for no. 355483 states it was purchased for Public Safety Service in the Purvick Dam Territory and shipped to W.S. Darley Co. of Chicago, Illinois, on April 8, 1936 with a 5 1/2 inch barrel in .45 caliber, blue finish, and type of stocks not listed. This was a single gun shipment.

Very fine overall with original finish, grip straps a mix of original blue finish and smooth gray patina, replacement grips with crisp checkering. Action needs work as third click is absent.
