This year, jim's rifle will be built on a montana rifleman 1999 all-stainless steel long action in a .338 Ultra mag caliber. It will have a gentry muzzle brake, which is quieter and reduces felt recoil by 50 percent. The stock is a mcmillam synthetic with a kick killer recoil pad. Also included is a leupold 3x9x40mm mounted scope with leupold rings and bases as well as a hardcase and a one-inch black nylon sling. Jim has contributed $33,000 to the elk foundation's business partners in conservation program.

Artist bill gamradt was commissioned to design the artwork for both sides of the receiver. The rifle is hand-cut engraved by baron technology using 24-kt gold overlays.
