There is no onsite bidding for this auction. If you are high bidder, your invoice will be emailed after the auction has concluded. A valid photo I.D. is required to complete all vehicle, trailer & boat transactions at time of purchase. All items from the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office will have a reserve & no sale will be made below the fair market value; The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office & auctioneer reserve the right to reject any & all bids & remove any item from sale. Some items belonging to other sellers in this auction may also be Subject to Reserve. If reserve is not met, item will not be declared sold. Some vehicles/equipment may have not been decommissioned at the time of photographs; push bars, lights and other police gear will be removed before being sold at auction and are not part of the sale of the item unless otherwise stated. The way you register for this auction is how your vehicle paperwork will be completed. Please make sure your name and/or company name and address are spelled correctly so your documents are completed correctly. If you are a car dealer please make sure you register this way. There is a $25 fee for corrections after paperwork has been completed. There is a $ 25.00 notary fee, added at time of invoice, for all vehicles, boats & trailers and/or any other item with title or that requires a bill of sale. If purchaser is from out of state upon payment clearing the bank a copy of title and bill of sale for each applicable item will be sent to purchaser for signature. Upon receipt of these copies back to the Auction Company the original titles/bills of sale will then be sent by priority mail to the purchaser within 14 business days. If buyer is local, paperwork can be picked up from our auction site location. Most title work will not be available until the week after the auction. Some vehicles will have title delays and/or may have branded titles, please see lot description for this information. Any titled items that are from bankruptcy cases could take up to 2 weeks before the paperwork is available. Due to Covid 19 state and/or local regulations, a mask or face covering is required to enter premises. Please contact Auction Company for any other restrictions for entering auction site due to Covid19. FULL PAYMENT IS DUE BY 3pm on 1/29/21 in US Dollars payable to ServCorp International, Inc. via cash, money order, cashier’s check or Wire Transfer (Wire transfers must include $25 wire fee to cover bank fee), & Personal/Business checks up to $5,000. Any Personal/Business Check over $5,000 will only be accepted with a Bank Letter of Guarantee. Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express will also be accepted either in person at auction location or through APN with credit card on file with Proxibid, however a 3% convenience fee is added to invoice total for all card transactions. No bank drafts accepted. All payments must be received before 3pm the Friday after the auction, no exceptions. Buyers Premium of 15% will be added on all purchases (ie. $1,000 + $150 = $1,150 (plus notary fee and/or tax if applicable)) $25 Notary fee will apply to all items with titles and/or needing bills of sale. Sales Tax of 8.7% will be added to the purchase of all taxable items sold. Sales Tax will be collected on final bid amount plus any buyer’s premium. Buyers who purchase for resale must present their resale tax certificate prior to payment, however if sales tax is later determined to be due, buyer agrees to bear all the liability of the sales tax for their purchases and remit such tax to the Auction Company and/or sales tax authority. All plastic pallets and/or basket crates are not included in the lots, they are the property of the Auction Company. Although information is derived from sources believed to be true and correct, the auction company/seller makes no warranty or guarantee, expressed or implied, on the items for sale and shall not be held responsible for any advertising discrepancies or inaccuracies. All items are sold “AS IS, WHERE IS” without warranty and with all faults. All sales are final. No warranties are made as to the merchantability of any items or their fitness for any purpose. All counts are approximate. Items/vehicles may be wrecked, have dents, scratches, flat tires, tears, defects, etc. Although the lot description may not mention defects or missing parts, does not mean there aren't any, buyer must rely on their own inspection before bidding. No item shall be removed from auction site until paid in full. Removal/Shipping is sole responsibility of the purchaser and purchaser must supply their own handling equipment for removal/loading. No dock or ramps are available at auction site. REMOVAL dates and times are stated in the checkout section. All items must be removed on or before Friday, February 5, 2021, NO EXCEPTIONS. Any items not removed within the stated removal dates/times are considered abandoned and may be resold without notice to buyer. All monies from any resale of unpaid items and/or abandoned items shall be retained by Auction Company/Seller. Purchaser does hereby indemnify and hold harmless the auctioneer and seller from any and all damages, claims or liabilities from injuries to persons or property of any type whatsoever caused during the sale or by the removal or shipping of items purchased. When entering any of the auction sites you do this at your own risk. Auction Company represents the Sellers’ interests in these transactions. Announcements made on auction day take precedence over any printed material and/or prior oral statements. Auction Company reserves the right to withdraw or re-catalog items in this auction. Buyer is responsible for knowing which item they are bidding on. Once item has been declared sold, the buyer has entered into a contract and is responsible for the items. The Auction Company/Seller shall have no liability to the buyer of any lot for non-delivery of any purchased item(s), other than the return of the buyer's deposit or payment on the lot if applicable. Auctioneer shall have no responsibility for internet bidding interruption or delays beyond their control. Internet bidders should be aware that due to the nature of the internet, delays in transmission could result in the software failing to recognize your bid. Under no circumstances shall Bidder have any kind of claim against Auction Company, seller or anyone else if the Internet service fails to work correctly before or during the auction. Auctioneer will not be responsible for any missed bids from any source. Internet bidders who desire to make certain their bid is acknowledged should use the proxy-bidding feature and leave their maximum bid 24 hours before the auction begins to close. By registering for and bidding at this auction, bidder acknowledges that they have read, understand and agree to the above statements. When bidder is awarded the bid and declared the Buyer by the Auctioneer, bidder agrees to pay for the items as required. ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
