1951 SanRemo Grand Prix Plate

The 1951 San Remo Grand Prix was a non-Championship Formula One motor race held on 22 April 1951 at the Autodromo di Ospedaletti in San Remo. It was the fourth race of the 1951 season. The 90-lap race was won by Ferrari driver Alberto Ascari starting from pole position. Stirling finished fifth, but first F2 car in a HWM-Alta 51 (F2)

The Moss '61 50th anniversary Moss Monaco Chronograph celebrates the 50th anniversary of an important victory in Stirling's early career. On May 14th 1961, Stirling Moss won the Monaco Grand Prix in style beating the Ferraris in the Rob Walker Lotus-Climax 18. This was not only Stirling's last race at Monaco but also his final victory in the Principality. This fine timepiece is finished in the team colours of Rob Walker racing and every dial is hand signed by Sir Stirling prior to the watch's final assembly. The edition is limited to just 161 pieces worldwide!
This is Stirling's personal watch and is No.21/61. Complete with a leather travel pouch, owner's manual, two spare leather straps and photographs of Stirling wearing the watch.
The watch is individually numbered and is engraved to the rear with the date and race finish details. In a superb presentation display box which is also signed and numbered by Sir Stirling Moss. Finished in polished German stainless steel, each watch comes with 3 Austrian high-quality leather straps complete with strap change tool. The movement is the renowned Swiss Valjoux ETA 7750 Chronograph movement with a quick change calendar and is water-resistant to 5atm. The face glass is Italian Sapphire Glass and the rear case is also sapphire glass allowing a view of the movement and contained within is a small section of Stirling's last ever race suit.

"The Train" Moss & Fangio at the Belgium Grand Prix in 1955. Signed Print (both drivers) No 2/750
Lot # 318 (Sale Order: 18 of 131)
The Train', a monochrome limited-edition print signed by two of the greatest Grand Prix drivers in the history of motor racing, Sir Stirling Moss and Juan Manuel Fangio. The print is also signed by the famous motorsport artist, Alan Stammers. The print's subject shows both of these great racers in their Mercedes-Benz W196 race cars during the 1955 Belgian Grand Prix. Fangio and Moss were teammates during this season and regularly could be seen dicing it out while driving wheel-to-wheel during races. Together they became known as "The Train" and, in this depiction, Fangio was victorious on this particular occasion with Moss coming second.
The only edition of prints signed by both Fangio and Moss and this edition is the only time that these two legends ever signed an edition of prints together.
Print No.1 was gifted to the late Ayrton Senna by the vendor after Senna's final victory at Adelaide in 1993. The vendor states that Ayrton was truly touched and remarked: "This will be for my Museum".
Number 2/750. Complete with a Certificate of Authenticity and a photograph of Juan Manuel Fangio and Sir Stirling signing the prints. 34" x 26" (86.3 x 66cm)

A very high-quality Gold Pocket / Stopwatch with a fine Rattrapante/split-second Swiss jewelled movement.
Manufactured by 'Watchmakers to the Admiralty' and gifted to Stirling's Father Alfred Moss by his wife Eileen on their 25th anniversary. This watch was used by Eileen Moss to record Stirling's early races and keep a record of his lap times.
Engraved on the inner case with the following wording - "Eileen to Alfred with all my love and thoughts of twenty-five happy years. March 27th 1953".

Unworn watch number 1 of 80 produced to celebrate Stirling's 80th Birthday. On a dark brown strap with unused tan and black strap in the box
September 19th 2009 saw Stirling Moss celebrate his 80th birthday whilst driving at the Goodwood Revival. Only 80 watches have been produced worldwide with a white face and a further 80 pieces with a black face. Each dial is personally hand-signed by Stirling Moss. Each watch is engraved to the rear its number and Stirling's birth date.
