1972 442 convertible that just underwent a complete restoration. Factory 442 that has been perfectly replicated as a W30. We removed this car from climate controlled ...morestorage where it sat since the early '80s.Only 74,000 documented miles. It was in nice, original shape but was showing its age so we opted for it to under go a complete restoration. The body was stripped down to metal and prepped for paint (all panelsappeared to be original including the underside). The interior was completely redone including new top, seat upholstery and foam, carpet, etc. Factory power windows, power-top, factory gauge package with dashtack and working clock. Factory his and hers Hurst shifter. The engine is not the original, it was swapped out in the early part of its life with a 455 out of a 1970 W30. The engine is rebuilt with forged flattop pistons, J heads, mild cam size up from stock. This is one of the best driving cars I have ever encountered, no squeaks or rattles.
