Description

Ring 2 consists primarily of vehicles of all types from Cities, Counties, Sheriff's Offices, the State of Florida and other organizations. This is a Live-virtual auction which means that an actual auctioneer is sitting at a computer and controls the auction. He puts each item in the ring, accepts the bids and decides when the bidding is over. There is no video or audio during the auction. All bids are final when submitted and can not be retracted for any reason.

*Some items have a buyer's fee in addition to the internet fee. Read each items description carefully before bidding.

Full payment is required before the end of business on the first Monday after the auction. Please read our terms of sale carefully. You are responsible for payment on all the items that you bid on and win. Please do not bid on multiple items if you can not afford to pay for all of them.

Vehicles will be demonstrated on Friday the day before the auction starting at 1pm.

PLEASE READ: At the request of the auction company, this auction permits bids to be placed by the auctioneer, an employee of the auctioneer, or the seller or an agent on the seller's behalf. Payment Instructions: Payment must be made in full before the close of business on Monday after the auction on Saturday! Wire information will be provided with an invoice after the auction closes. Non-payment will be reported to Proxibid Tuesday morning. A 1% late fee will be applied for late payments if the late payment is accepted. - Cash, certified funds, or wire transfer are the only forms of payment that will be accepted after the payment deadline and will allow you to remove your purchase right away. Any payment made later than Monday after the auction may cause you to be declined in future auctions. - A personal or company check will only be accepted on auction day but must be accompanied by a bank letter of payment guarantee for us to release your purchase to you. A letter of reference or available balance will not be sufficient. Otherwise your purchase must remain on the auction grounds until the check clears the bank. This will take approximately one week. - Applicable sales tax must be collected on all transactions unless a valid resale tax exemption certificate has been provided to us. - Applicable title fees must be collected unless a valid motor vehicle dealer license has been provided to us. Purchaser hereby acknowledges that Tampa Machinery Auction, Inc. (hereafter referred to as “Company”) is merely selling the property for a commission; represents and warrants that said property has been examined, inspected and approved, by the purchaser or his or its agent; that said property is as represented; accepts same as is and with full knowledge of its condition at the time of sale; agrees that the Company shall not be responsible or liable for any inducement, promise, representation, agreement, condition, or stipulation not specifically set forth herein in writing; agrees that title to said property, remains in and is retained by the Company in collecting or attempting to collect the debt created hereby, including a reasonable attorney’s fee if placed in the hands of an attorney for collection; waives his rights to claim exemptions as to personal property including salaries and wages, under the Constitution and law of Florida and any and all other states of the United States; and agrees that the Company shall not be responsible in any way for any property left on the Company’s premises. Purchaser agrees to assume complete and total responsibility for any loss or damage to the above described property and will not hold the Company liable on account of loss or damage to the above described property due to theft, vandalism, loading or unloading the above described property or property near said property; or any act of God such as flood, storm, or fire. Checkout Date & Times: We are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm for pickup. Loading assistance is available on a first come first served basis. Items that require special equipment to load are the buyers sole responsibility.

Driving Directions: If you are coming from the north or south take I-75 and look for the Fowler Ave. exit {#265}, then go east on Fowler to Highway 301, then north on Highway 301 about a mile and we are on the lift. If you are coming from the east (Orlando) take I-4 west to exit #10 for S.R. 579 then go north about five miles until end at Highway 301. Take 301 south about one mile and we will be on your right. If you are coming from the west (St.Petersburg/Clearwater) take I-275 east through Tampa then exit onto I-4 east. Stay on I-4 to I-75 north. Stay on I-75 north to Fowler Ave. east (exit 265) then about one mile to end at Highway 301 then north and you will see us on the left.

Items are NOT inspected and any descriptive information provided, such as Runs & Moves, is to the best of our knowledge and should not be construed as a guarantee that the item is fully functional. 100% accuracy of the information provided is not guaranteed. No statement at all indicates that the item has not or could not be tested and the buyer should beware. This is not an 'absolute' auction, some items are being offered with a reserve or minimum bid amount. Some items may have a buyer fee which is in addition to the internet fee. T.M.A. is not responsible for damaged or stolen items. Waiting for your check to clear does NOT change this as your method of payment is your choice not ours. - Storage fees of $10 per day per item will begin the third Monday (two weeks) after the auction. We need the space to set up our next auction so please do not use us for storage. - Items left on our property for longer than 30 days will be considered abandoned and disposed of as such according to the laws of the State of Florida. - In most cases we can provide assistance with loading free of charge as a courtesy. We will do this only with the understanding that we will not be held liable for any damages which may occur. If a battery is dead we can provide a jump start but some are so bad that you will have to replace it before the item can function properly. Applicable sales tax will be collected on all transactions unless a valid Florida tax exempt certificate has been provided prior to or on the day of the sale. Acceptable documentation according to the Florida Department of Revenue is a Florida dealer license and tax exempt certificate for titled items or just a tax exempt certificate for non-titled items. If you are a dealer from another state then you will have to provide us with your states equivalent documents and you will have to sign an out of state dealer affidavit for our records. Purchasing something to export to another state or country does not in of itself exempt a transaction from sales tax in Florida. Since we are not involved in the shipping, sales tax will be collected on all items purchased by a retail buyer for export. For titled items a valid Motor Vehicle Dealer license must also be provided to exempt the transaction from sales tax and title fees. The current typical Florida titles fees are $75.75 for State & County fees, $25 agency fees and $20 dealer fees for a total of $120.75 but may vary by the type of vehicle, transfer and/or the type of original title. The highest possible transfer fee would be $145.75 and the lowest would be $50.75. All title transfers in Florida will become electronic titles unless otherwise requested and specifically noted on the invoice. License plates can be purchased or transferred through us at exactly the same rates charged by the County tax collector and will vary based on the class of vehicle and the type of buyer. A typical passenger car tag for an individual is around $300. Proof of insurance will be required to buy or transfer a license plate and a registration will be required to transfer a plate. If you choose not to buy or transfer a license plate through us then keep in mind that you will not be able to do either yourself at a tax collector's office until you receive a title receipt from us showing we have processed your title. This could take several weeks but by law we have thirty days from the date of sale to process the title.
