You are looking at a survivor 1980 Pontiac Firebird Esprit. While it is an Esprit and not a Trans Am, these have a clean look all their own. It is the base V6 with no air conditioning.
This vehicle was stored in a local garage and part of an estate. It hasn't been driven since 2001 and appears to be original aside from the radio and the wear items normally replaced over the years.
Mechanically, it has a fresh engine oil and filter change and brand new battery. It was also properly prepped with oil down the cylinders before we started the vehicle. It runs fairly well but will need tires, belts, hoses, a carb rebuild, thermostat, new cap, rotor and plug wires at a minimum, and probably more due to age and with any car stored this long. This is a project car with tons of potential.
Cosmetically, it is clean but does have some rust issues with the drivers door. The underbody appears fairly clean with mainly surface rust but no guarantees. Wisconsin vehicles are prone to rust issues. It also needs a headliner as shown.

It starts, runs, lot drives and stops. We did not have any other work done and other mechanical or structural information. We encourage inspections before bidding. RARE Vintage Paul Newman's Simpson Pyrotect Racing Suit Jumpsuit Bob Sharp Racing Nissan
You are looking at a RARE Vintage Paul Newman's Pyrotect Racing Suit Jumpsuit. It has patches from Diet Coke racing, SCCA, Nissan, Datsun, Canon and Kendall Motor Oil.
We consigned this item as part of a local estate. Goodnetter Auto was an active part of the racing scene in the 1980s at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. Robert "Bob" Goodnetter helped Paul Newman's racing team in 1984 with a vehicle issue and had a chance to meet Paul Newman. In return for the work, Paul's team gave Bob Goodnetter this jumpsuit in gratitude for the work. Bob had this in his care until his death in 2021.
Paul Newman spent time at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin and had a racing career for over 40 years. He also had many racing suits. While we have no way to authenticate this racing suit, we did find photos of a close match. Also note that we believe this is from 1984 based on the information from the surviving family members and both Nissan and Datsun patches on the sleeve.
The last photo is photo we were provided during our research with a close match but not the same configuration of patches. We are including this photo as a reference only.
This rare piece is being sold as-is-as shown with no authentication other than what we know or additional documentation. It is a very cool piece of racing history.
