M. Customs and Excise Notice 703 paragraph 3.5. To be valid the goods must be exported within three months of the date of sale and valid proof thereof must be provided within the same time limit. LOAD OUT If you are buying here today with the intention of loading containers please notify Craig Revell on 07900 302144 before you leave the auction site. All lots must be removed from the sale site no later than 4pm on FRIDAY 10th JULY 2015. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE. Any equipment remaining thereafter will be removed to a holding area and the cost of transport and storage charged for, without exception. Please note the site will be open weekdays 9.30 am until 4pm provided cleared funds have been received in full. Prior arrangement recommended. Load out is available at the weekend by appointment only. Crane Loading: There may be items in the auction which require a crane for loading, these will be marked in the catalogue accordingly. Crane loading will be provided free of charge for these items but only on a specified day. Please contact the auction office. No vehicle movement will be permitted on site on sale day until selling is finished. A loading ramp will be available. Containers loaded by arrangement, charges will apply. NOTICE TO PURCHASERS EU CONFORMITY Purchasers must satisfy themselves as to the suitability of equipment for export markets and the organisers accept no liability in any respect whatsoever. The show ground is located off the A34 just north of the M4 motorway. Off the M4 take junction 13. VIEWING Tuesday 23rd June 2015 – 9.,30 am until 4.30pm and throughout the day of sale from 8am. The starting of equipment whilst the auction is in progress will not be permitted. PARKING There will be ample on-site parking available, please follow yellow Hewden Auction signs and instructions when you arrive at the car park. REGISTRATION All buyers must collect a bidding number from the auction office. New customers will be required to provide satisfactory proof of identity, ie driving licence or passport, together with business card/letter heading. DEPOSIT A £5,000 cash or card deposit will be required from new customers (credit cards subject to a 2% + VAT surcharge). The auctioneers will not be held responsible for any deficit in deposit refunds as a result of exchange rate fluctuations. PAYMENT Payment for all lots must be made on the day of sale. Our terms are strictly cash, bankers draft, direct debit card, credit card with a surcharge of 2% (plus VAT). Customers unknown to us and wishing to pay by cheque must produce a bankers reference. PAYMENT IN CASH Our terms are strictly bank transfer, debit card, credit card with a surcharge of 2% (plus VAT) or cash. In order to comply with money laundering regulations we will not accept payments in cash exceeding £9,000. Cash payments of over £4,000 must be accompanied by valid proof of identity ie passport/driving licence supported by 2 utility bills, bank statement or equivalent. Cash payments via your bank will not be permitted. The auctioneers will only accept payment from and permit removal of lots purchased by the successful purchaser or their duly appointed agent. No lots will be transferred to third party invoices after the auction. REFRESHMENTS Light refreshments will be available on site. COMMISSIONS TO PURCHASE Will be executed with care and judgement by the auctioneers on receipt of full written instructions providing prospective purchasers have previously inspected the goods in question. They should also ensure that the country of destination has no import or currency restrictions on the goods they wish to purchase.
