This original production art cel is from the Nickelodeon t.v. show CatDog.  The show follows the adventures of CatDog, a cat and dog conjoined at the waist. Because of their strange condition, CatDog are often harassed by the Greaser Dogs, a trio of tough thugs, and their neighbor, Winslow, a devious blue rat.  The show revolves around Cat and Dog who share the same body, and although they are best friends/brothers, they have very different personalities. Dog is very fun loving and loves eating, chasing cars, exploring, and just about anything else a dog would love.  It appears that Cat is raising his voice, where Dog looks completely lost. The background accompanying this set-up is a color reproduction of an original production background. The cel received by the winning bidder may be every so slightly different from the one in the auction photos.  On one of the cel's backgrounds, this is a minor tear on the lower right edge. Taken Back Original Production Cel Art Ren & Stimpy

Lot # 19644 (Sale Order: 496 of 604)

This original production art cel is from the Nickelodeon TV show Ren & Stimpy. The show follows two characters - Ren, a crazy Chihuahua - and - Stimpy, an incredibly stupid cat - as they think up to all kinds of hair brained schemes and get themselves into some sticky situations. The Ren and Stimpy Show debuted in August 1991 with a two-part episode, 'Stimpy's Big Day / The Big Shot' and became an instant hit. It was the third Nicktoon ever to be aired on the Network alongside Doug and Rugrats .  Depicted here is Ren and Stimpy taken back by something or someone. Original Production Art Cel Overall Size (including mat and 12-field cel set-up): 11¾ x 15 inches Excellent condition This is an original hand-painted cel set-up used in the production of an episode of "The Ren & Stimpy Show." Each one-of-a-kind set-up represents a slight change in position of the characters. When individually photographed and projected in rapid succession, the images appear to move. To create production cels, the original animator's drawing is transferred onto an acetate cel (by hand-inking and/or photo copying). The cel is then hand-painted on the reverse side. The cel received by the winning bidder may be every so slightly different from the one in the auction photos. The cel is ready to be matted and framed.  The animator's notations are shown at the bottom of the cel.  This cel comes in multi-layers; first Ren and then Stimpy.  Don't be taken back from this cel, this is a lovely piece that will fit well into any animated animations collection.

Lady and the Tramp Lumicel Disney Animation Cel Art

Lot # 19646 (Sale Order: 498 of 604)

At first glance, this Lumicel appears to be the beloved spaghetti scene from "Lady and the Tramp," presented on a color sericel, along with a collage of sketches from the classic Disney movie. Those sketches feature different characters in a variety of expressive and dynamic poses. But there's more than meets the eye here. With the wave of the hand, this Lumicel comes to life, with lights, music, sound effects, and original character voices! Lumicel's exclusive IOn feature makes all of the technology invisible. There are no buttons, speakers, or switches to distract from the beauty of the artwork. Once the IOn is activated, a section of the model sheet is illuminated and an accompanying sound bite is played. Its works like magic. The color cel has been screen printed one color at a time. The parchment white tone, archival quality paper is lithographed in dark purple. The audio features clips from film's soundtrack, as well as original character voices. Overall this art is based on model sheets and scenes from the Walt Disney Studios, created for the production of the 1955 feature. Model sheets were originally created by the artists in the developing stages of an animated film. They showed the various expressions, poses, and angles of the characters. The Lumicel enhances these model sheet images with lights and sounds, giving you a glimpse into how the artist may have imagined the drawings coming to life. Operation: Assembly required (instructions included) Presentation: Can be matted and framed Image size: Pan 12 Field — 10 × 24 Edition: Numbered from an edition of 1,955 Original Certificate of Authenticity in sealed envelope affixed to the back side On/Off and volume dial at the back Condition: New, in the original box&#
