What an amazing print; created in 1991 by renowned comic artist Aaron Lopresti in which he brings us this fantastic piece featuring "Spiderman/Venom". This print is Hand Signed by Aaron Lopresti and is copy written by the Marvel Comic Group. It measures 13 ½" x 17 ½" with matte and is in pristine condition. This stunning piece is framed in a beautiful black frame. Bio: Born in Portland , OR at the young age of 0, Aaron knew almost immediately what he wanted to be when he grew up. When the whole pro basketball thing didn't work out, Aaron instead turned to art. Despite graduating high school in the top 10 percent of his class, Aaron showed almost no intelligence by choosing to go to business school instead of art school. After spending a year at Oregon State University under-achieving, Aaron left the campus lifestyle to pursue his second love, film. With two years of community college and a much higher GPA under his belt, Aaron loaded up his Dad's 1963 Mercury Comet and headed to film school at the prestigious USC film school in Los Angeles . Aaron spent two moderately successful years in film school and another year reading scripts for Tri-Star Pictures. Three years in Los Angeles proved to be plenty and he once again loaded up the car and drove straight back to his mommy. This tragic story does get better. Soon after returning to Portland , Aaron found work as a commercial artist in training at the now defunct Art Farm Studios. Jones graduated from Chouinard Art Institute in Los Angeles (now California Institute of the Arts). He often drew pencil portraits for the price of one dollar each and sold them on Olvera Street . In 1932, Jones got his first job as a cel washer for Ubbe Iwerks, a former Disney Animator. In 1936 Jones began working for Leon Schlesinger Studio (later sold to Warner Bros.) after being hired by Friz Freleng as an animator. After Warner Bros closed Jones briefly worked for Disney before moving to MGM where he worked to create new episodes of Tom and Jerry and directed features such as The Dot and the Line, which went on to win an Academy Award for Animated Short Film. Chuck Jones' work has been honored at film festivals and museums throughout the world, including a one-man retrospective at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City .
