Vintage Tom Marsh Custom Bolo Tie

Lot # 216 (Sale Order: 182 of 410)      

For sale in this lot is a beautiful vintage bolo tie. This bolo is a unique piece because the slide was converted from a pendant, which still has the Shepherd's hook so it can be worn either way. The second unique feature of this piece is that it is put on a Victor Cedarstaff bolo slide. Victor Cedarstaff was credited with inventing the bolo tie. It also has a hand braided cord with custom tips. It is stamped as sterling silver. 
MAKER: Slide is made by Tom Marsh. Bolo yoke is by Victor Cedarstaff. 
APPROX AGE: Circa 1974.
SIZE: Braided cord measures 44 inches long including tips. Slide measures 4-3/4 inches long X 3 inches wide. Weighs 170.6 grams.
