Winchester M.94 30 WCF - Pre 64 MFG 1949

For sale in this lot is a nice Winchester Model 94 in .30 WCF. It is a pre-64 model (MFG about 1949). Based on a John Browning design, the Model 1894 was the first Winchester developed for smokeless powder cartridges. It was the most successful Winchester rifle ever produced and was in production until the year 2005....This particular rifle is in pretty good condition for its age, showing some signs of wear from age and use. There is some bluing fade on the receiver and barrel and the bore looks good with rifling present. It has the metal butt plate. The wood is in good condition, showing a few dings from use. It functions properly and would be a great shooter and a nice addition to any collection!... MAKER: Winchester, Serial No....1623102. APPROX AGE: 1949. SIZE: Barrel length is 20 inches. .30 WCF CONDITION: Pretty good for its age, normal wear expected. When the trigger guard lever is lowered, the barrel slides out from the frame and tips downward to receive the cartridge....Around 23,000 of these were made. Unique! MAKER: Richardson Overman.
