It has a stainless slide, with a blued finish frame, checkered wood grips and standard sights. This pistol seems to function properly, however we have not fired it. This one seems to be in all original condition, showing signs of use and age....The model 1892 is basically an updated model '73 with a scaled down action from the model 1886. The model 1892 was a successor to the model 1873 using a scaled down version of the model 1886 action. They were built between 1892 and 1932 with slightly more than one million made. The model 1892 remains popular amongst Winchester collectors to this day. This one seems fully functional, but we have not fired it and it is not warranted safe to shoot by us. The fore...end and stock are in nice condition and look like they were polished with a wood polish as they have a nice luster. This Winchester has the original metal butt pad and seems to function properly, however we have not fired it.
