Gardani started working and experimenting with different materials and techniques, on his Paintings and Sculptures. Entirely self-taught, he had his first solo exhibition in his native, Quito, (1987).It's when he realized, that is what he wants to do for the rest of his life. He knows to fulfill that dream he had to leave his problematic political country. He traveled to Peru, Colombia, Venezuela, Mexico until finally, he ended up in the U.S. in 1989. He lived in California, Chicago, New York and Miami and still living between the last two cities. He had continued traveling to Brazil, England, Italy, France, China, Honduras, Puerto Rico¦ in order to visit the major Art Museums. He believes that is the best school to learn the higher expressions of Art. Gardani still remains true to his initial spirit of enjoying Art in the Magic Realism form, which he has been practicing for more than twenty years. Even though some of his paintings come from his mind; he prefers to work with models. Gardani has the ability to present works of allegory, still-life, fruit, horses, pets, contemporary abstracts and his well known figurative paintings. The artwork of this Artist has been shown in Galleries in the United States Central and South America. His artworks are in Prestigious Collections around the world. He has been commissioned by many private collectors. As a Latino Artist of Spanish Heritage, he reflects in his Paintings the techniques from the old masters and the magic of all the places he has lived with the wide variety of cultures he's experienced. Pino Daeni (November 8, 1939 – May 25, 2010) was an Italian-American book illustrator and artist. He is known for his style of feminine, romantic women and strong men painted with loose but accurate brushwork. Considered one of the highest paid book illustrators of his time, he created over 3,000 book covers, movie posters and magazine illustrations. From 1960 to 1979, his work garnered several prizes and awards. During this period, he was commissioned by two of Italy's largest publishers, Mandadori and Rizzoli, for numerous book illustrations. After a visit to Manhattan in 1971, Pino's experiences of the art scene at that period led him to feel restricted in Milan, and in 1978, he moved to New York, where he believed the artistic freedom would allow him greater opportunities. In 2001, Pino's son, Massimo, began representing his artist-father, despite Pino's initial reluctance. Massimo, more known as Max, successfully grew his efforts into a profitable marketing company, helping his father expand beyond his normal gallery representation to include magazines and books. His work continues to appear in art galleries all over the world, and his Giclee prints sell into the thousands of dollars. On May 25, 2010, Pino died at the age of 70 after many famous pieces and is know as one of the most popular artists of all time.

This piece has never been unframed and is in excellent condition. Image Size: Paper Size: About the Artist:Norman Joseph Gautreau passed away at the age of 90 on Sept 21, 2007. Well known for his series of historic Revere paintings, hundreds of prints are owned and loved by many, particularly on the North Shore. The City of Revere has helped and encouraged Norman to continue to create Revere paintings for distribution with grants from the Massachusetts State Lottery Arts Commission.One of the artist's fondest memories is of Norman Rockwell, a fellow artist he visited in Stockbridge on more than one occasion. The famous illustrator was impressed with Gautreau's work, and to this day Gautreau recalls exactly what Rockwell said: "He looked at my paintings and told me he wished he could do what I do. That was the best compliment of my life."A diverse artist, his creations portray many places and depict many scenes and events. His works include places such as: Switzerland, Canada, Italy, Egypt, India, Japan, etc.; sites, such as the Saugus Ironworks, Mt. Rushmore, Mt. Kiliminjaro, and events such as the Boston Marathon, the Chelsea Fire-1973, World Horseshoe Pitching Championship, Tall Ships in Boston, Babe Ruth shaking hands with Lou Gehrig after hitting #60, Ted Williams at Fenway, as well as some Movie Classics. He also did a painting of Cardinal Cushing which is in the Vatican.Some of Norman's paintings have adorned the covers of Boston Publications. In 1970, the Boston Herald published it's magazine section with the painting "Boston Bruins vs. Montreal Canadiens" as its center fold.Norman has had exhibits at the State House in Boston, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Harvard Medical Library, Boston College, Pacifico Gallery in Boston, and numerous Medical Centers, Church, Community Centers and Libraries in the Boston Metropolitan Area. He has also won many awards and ribbons, too numerous to mention, one being named Citizen of the Year in 1997 by the City of Revere. He also received a Commendation for Distinction from the City of Revere.
