Lot # 1

According to Colt Archives Serial Number Database, this Model 1848 "Dragoon" Percussion Army 3rd Model Revolver (factory cut for shoulder a stock) was produced in 1859. T...morehis revolver is numbers matching: grip frame, trigger guard plate, frame, barrel lug, barrel wedge, loading lever and cylinder. This revolver is an "original family" heirloom and comes with a signed letter which states: "This Colt revolver, serial number 18430, has been passed down through my family for many generations. It is believed to have belonged to my ancestor, George Ruck, who served during the U.S. Civil War. Any history associated with this revolver has been lost in time. I inherited it from my father, he inherited it from his, and so on - Timothy Ruck (w/ signature)". MARKINGS: "ADDRESS SAML COLT NEW YORK CITY" on the top of the barrel and "COLT'S PATENT" on the left side of the frame. Other than the serial numbers, no other markings or roll stamps are visible. SPECS: Bottom rear strap cut for a detachable shoulder stock, 7.5" round barrel, dual folding leaf rear sights, front blade sight, smooth walnut grips, brass trigger guard/ front strap and 6-shot cylinder. CONDITION: This early revolver is showing wear to include a broken left grip at the butt but appears to be all original and has a sharp bore with light rusting within the groves. All parts are "free moving;" however, this revolver is not in working order. HISTORY: The Colt Model 1848 Percussion Army Revolver is a .44 caliber revolver designed by Samuel Colt for the U.S. Army's Regiment of Mounted Rifles. The revolver was also issued to the Army's "Dragoon" regiments. This revolver was designed as a solution to numerous problems encountered with the Colt Walker. Although it was introduced after the Mexican–American War, it became popular among civilians during the 1850s and 1860s and was also used during the American Civil War. It was produced with several variations between 1847 and 1860, when the Colt Model 1860 revolver replaced it. Total production of Colt Dragoons, including the 1,100 Walkers from 1847 to 1860: 19,800; there were also 750 Dragoons in a separate number range for the British market. For collectors, there are three different types, or sub-models: FIRST MODEL - The First Model Colt Dragoon Revolver production began in 1848, stemming from Colt's Second Government Contract. It has oval cylinder stops, a V-type mainspring, no wheel on the rear of the hammer, and a square back trigger guard. Colt produced about 7,000 first models between 1848 and 1850. SECOND MODEL: The Second Model has rectangular cylinder notches. Until number 10,000, the V-shaped mainspring was standard and then replaced with a flat leaf mainspring and a wheel on the hammer at its bearing on the mainspring. All the Second Model Dragoons have the square back trigger guard. THIRD MODEL: The Third Model Dragoon serial numbers start at around 10,000 and were produced from 1851 through 1860. This design had more variations as compared to its earlier counterparts. Some of the third model Colt Dragoon Revolvers had frame cuts for detachable shoulder stocks, horizontal loading lever latches and folding leaf sights. Third Colt Dragoon Revolvers had a round trigger guard. CURRENT BOOK VALUE (Third Model Dragoon): 95% - $60,000, 70% - $30,000, 40% - $15,000, 20% - $10,000. SHIPPING - We offer free shipping anywhere within the continental US. All firearms must be sent to an FFL (or C&R if applicable) regardless of age or caliber. This includes antiques & muzzleloaders.

1978 Dan Wesson 15-2VH "Pistol PAC", 357 Mag., Revolver (W/ Case & Accessories), SN - 172340

This one-owner Dan Wesson Model 15-2VH double-action revolver "Pistol PAC" was purchased in 1979, and comes with the original bill of sale dated: "1-21-79". This "PAC" co...moremes in the original brown hardcase with (4) .357 Magnum interchangeable shrouded/ vent-rib barrels - 7.25", 6", 3.25" & 1.75". This set also comes with (5) interchangeable grips, (2) Dan Wesson patches, (1) Dan Wesson belt buckle, all original 1979 literature, 1980 factory service paperwork (replaced hand spring & re-timed), (4) extra front sights and original tools. SPECS: Bright blue finish, adjustable rear sight pinned to the channel, ramped front sight with multi-color inserts, serrated target hammer and 6-shot swing-out cylinder. CONDITION: This revolver is in beautiful condition with no wear to speak of, all barrels have excellent sharp/ clean bores and appears to be in good working order. HISTORY: The Dan Wesson Pistol-Pac was a series of revolvers produced by Dan Wesson Firearms starting in the early 1970s. Technically the first Pistol-Pac was another name for the Dan Wesson Model 15-2; however, the "Pistol Pac" (which consisted of 3 additional/swappable barrels) was applied to more of Dan Wesson's designs. The high quality design, very similar to Colt Python, consisted of a solid frame with swing-out cylinder and a common double action mechanism. Virtually all components were made from a steel alloy while the grips were fashioned from a high quality wood. By far the most significant feature of the Pistol Pacs was the additional barrels sold with the design. The barrels were simple to remove and install, simply requiring the need to be screwed in place. A tool was also provided which would help to install the barrel and maintain the correct breech to cylinder gap. The barrel, particularly around the joint, was then fitted with a blade (one forged with each barrel) as a front sight, a jacket (which covered the joint and strengthened the design) and an ejector rod shroud (which could be removed to allow the disassembly of the ejector mechanism). The jacket in particular was designed so that it would only fit properly when the blade sight at the front was in the correct position. The Dan Wesson Pistol Pac was one of the more unusual design ideas for revolvers which had largely followed a general trend of double action/solid frame. The option of having four different barrels (later models were offered 5 or more barrels) gave shooters more choice when shooting largely due to the ability to customize the Pistol Pac without aftermarket parts. The high quality of the Pistol Pac, along with the additional barrels, helped to build the cult-like following of the Dan Wesson Company. SHIPPING - We offer free shipping anywhere within the continental US. All firearms must be sent to an FFL (or C&R if applicable) regardless of age or caliber. This includes antiques & muzzleloaders.

1916 German DWM Military P.08 Artillery Luger (7.9") , 9mm Luger, Semi-Auto, SN - 3439g

Lot # 9

This German P.08 Military Artillery Luger is marked "DWM" (Deutsche Waffen und Munitionsfabriken), "1916" on the top of the chamber and several German military proof stam...moreps. This gun is numbers matching on all visible parts (does not include magazine). SPECS: 7.9" Barrel, checkered walnut grips, grooved rear strap for a shoulder stock, lanyard ring, 8-position tangent rear sight and ramped dovetail front sight. CONDITION: This gun is in good condition with some various light wear, has a nice sharp/ clean bore and appears to be in good working order. HISTORY: In 1908, the German Army adopted the Model P.08 Luger to replace the Reich's revolver in front-line service. The adoption of the LP 08, known as the "Artillery Luger", was authorized by the Kaiser on July 2, 1913. This P08 variation was equipped with a 7.9 inch barrel, an 8-position tangent rear sight (calibrated to 870 yds) and a board-type shoulder stock with an attached leather holster. In the event of close combat, the pistol was intended to be used as a carbine with the shoulder stock attached to a lug mounted on the heel of the pistol frame. When set for long range use, the rear sight element visibly moves to the left to compensate for spin drift. While initially intended for use by German artillery units who could not be encumbered by the long and heavy K.98 rifle, the "Artillery Luger" was also used by Aviation units (prior to equipping aircraft with machine guns) as well as the infantry, primarily on the Western front during World War I. Stormtrooper infantry units frequently employed the Artillery Luger equipped with a new large magazine, the 32-round Trommelmagazin or 'snail' magazine. Production of the LP 08 "Artillery Luger" ended in 1918 with the end of the war. SHIPPING - We offer free shipping anywhere within the continental US. All firearms must be sent to an FFL (or C&R if applicable) regardless of age or caliber. This includes antiques & muzzleloaders.

CONDITION: This gun is in beautiful condition with very light wear, has shiny/ clean bores and appears to be in good working order. HISTORY: The Browning Superposed is a Belgian over-under shotgun that was produced from 1931 until 1986. The pre-World War II Superposed was offered in 12-gauge only with the exception of special orders. The 20-gauge version first became available in the 1949 catalog. Barrels ranged from 26.5” to 30” for the 12-gauge and 26.5” or 28” for the 20-gauge. The 1950s saw the introduction of various sub-models of the gun. Hunting models (Trap- and Skeet-specific models also became available), such as a Lightning version that was lighter than the standard models. Every Superposed (standard & sub models) was hand engraved in Belgium. The 1960s saw the full introduction of a 28 gauge and .410 models and a Lightning version of the Trap model. Between 1970 and 1976, the cost of a Belgian-made Superposed more than doubled due to rising labor and manufacturing costs. This opened the door for Browning's less expensive alternative to the Superposed, the Citori, which was introduced in 1973, and produced at the Miroku, Japan, plant. SHIPPING - We offer free shipping anywhere within the continental US. All firearms must be sent to an FFL (or C&R if applicable) regardless of age or caliber. This includes antiques & muzzleloaders.

1995 Magnum Research/ I.M.I Israel Desert Eagle, 44 Magnum, Semi-Auto, SN - 95251333

Lot # 15

This Magnum Research Desert Eagle Pistol was made in Israel by I.M.I and both magazines are marked "95" (1995). SPECS: 6.25" barrel, black textured rubber wrap-around gri...morep, serrated slide, ambidextrous safety, dovetail sights, and (2) 8-round 44 Magnum magazines. CONDITION: This pistol is in nice condition with no wear to speak of, has a sharp/ clean bore and appears to be in good working order. HISTORY: After years of being accessorized, customized and re-imagined in countless movies, television shows and video games, the Desert Eagle Pistol has emerged as a pop-culture icon. Magnum Research Inc. (MRI) designed and developed the Desert Eagle in the early 1980s. The design was further refined by (and was also manufactured by) Israel Military Industries (IMI) until 1995, when MRI shifted the manufacturing contract to the U.S. The Desert Eagle is a gas-operated, semi-automatic pistol known for chambering the most powerful handgun cartridges available and are easily convertible. Switching a Desert Eagle to another chambering requires only that the correct barrel, bolt assembly, and magazine be installed. Thus, a conversion to fire other cartridges can be quickly accomplished. The Desert Eagle uses a gas-operated ejection/chambering mechanism normally found in rifles, as opposed to the short recoil or blowback designs most commonly seen in semi-automatic pistols. The advantage of the gas operation is that it allows the use of far more powerful cartridges than traditional semi-automatic pistol designs. Thus, it allows the Desert Eagle to compete in an area that had previously been dominated by Magnum revolvers. The Desert Eagle has been featured in more than six hundred films, to include: The Matrix, Eraser, Red Heat, Last Action Hero, Cliffhanger, Demolition Man, Assassins, The Last Boy Scout, Double Impact, Snatch, and Austin Powers. SHIPPING - We offer free shipping anywhere within the continental US. All firearms must be sent to an FFL (or C&R if applicable) regardless of age or caliber. This includes antiques & muzzleloaders.

It is a semi-automatic version of the M16 rifle, sold for civilian and law enforcement markets in the United States. The AR in AR-15 stands for "ArmaLite Rifle" after the company that developed it in the 1950s. Sale of new AR-15s in the US was banned by the Federal Assault Weapons Ban from 1994 to 2004. This law defines more than 170 different models of firearms including this one. Illinois residents may NOT participate in this lot. WWII German Kriegsmarine Navy M35 Single Decal Named Helmet - "SE66"

Lot # 17

This is a very nice, all original, example of a named WWII German M35 "SE66" helmet with a hard to find Kriegsmarine Naval gold eagle decal. German Navy helmets are among...more the hardest to find on the collector market due to the very low number issued. The construction is of stamped sheet steel and all three liner retaining pins are intact. The interior of the helmet still retains the original M31 leather liner with all eight of its fingers intact and original tie string. The original leather chin strap is intact and complete. On the reverse of the shell's interior, the neck guard apron is stamped "4940" along with the name "Jmgrain" hand painted in typical German fashion. The interior, left side, apron has a stamped manufacturer's code "SE66" = Sachsische Emaillier und Stanzwerke A.G. of Germany. The inside dimensions of the liner are approximately 8"x6" (no size stamps remain visible). HISTORY: The Kriegsmarine was the Navy of Nazi Germany from 1935 to 1945. The German M35 helmet, also known as the Model 1935 or Stahlhelm, was introduced in 1935 to replace the M17/18 helmet. M35 Stahlhelme helmets were issued to virtually every branch of the German armed forces and were painted with military flat colors according to the branch of service. The primary defining aspect of the M35 helmet was the use of decals to represent the branch of service. The Navy shield was almost identical to the Army shield but the eagle was gold rather than silver. The German Stahlhelm underwent the first of a few minor changes beginning in 1940, being replaced with the M40 and later the M42. HISTORY: The Heckler & Koch Model HK4 is largely a refined Mauser HSc self-loading pistol that utilizes a straight blowback action with a double-action trigger and a slide-mounted safety. Introduced in 1967 for German government agencies, the design allowed for easy barrel swapping between four different chamberings (6.35mm Browning aka .25 ACP, 7.65mm Browning aka .32 ACP, 9mm short aka 380 ACP, and 22LR) by merely switching out the barrel and recoil spring assembly and the magazine. Switching between the .22 LR also involves a further step of loosening a screw on the breech face and rotating the removable breech face to either the centerfire or rimfire position. A revolutionary design for the time, this historical firearm marked the beginning of pistol production at Heckler & Koch and laid groundwork for its successor, the H&K P9S. The HK4 was discontinued in 1984. During its lifetime the HK4 was produced in limited numbers - For the civilian market, 26,550 pieces were produced with serial numbers from 10001 to 36550; 12,400 were produced for the West German police force, with numbers from 40001 to 52400; and 8,700 pieces were made for the US market with production numbers from 001 to 8700 (imported by Harrington & Richardson). 1998 Browning Citori White Lightning (26"), 12 Ga., O/U, SN- 15755NP131

Lot # 19

This Browning Citori "White Lightning" shotgun was made in 1998 (SN - "NP" = 1998). SPECS: Silver Nitride receiver with engraved floral scroll pattern & gold lettering, g...morerade III/IV oiled walnut stock with deep cut outlined checkering/ fluted comb & contoured forearm, 26" Invector Plus chrome lined barrels with (5) choke tubes, round grip knob, original Browning brown rubber buttpad with black spacer, gold trigger, serrated vent-rib with silver bead front sight, tang safety/ barrel selector, dual ejectors, 14.25" LOP and is chambered for 2 3/4" & 3" shells. CONDITION: This one-owner gun is in beautiful condition with very light wear, has shiny/ clean bores and appears to be in good working order. BROWNING INFO: One of the most representative examples of Browning over and under shotgun excellence is the Citori Lightning. The Lightning embodies the tried and true features that make a Citori the classic field gun by which all others are judged. The handsome White Lighting varies in one significant way. This version features a durable receiver coating process called a "silver nitride" rather than the traditional deep blued finish. The Citori White Lightning's round knob or pistol grip allows the shooter to position their hand at the same, solid place for each shot, thus offering better control for fast-flying waterfowl and upland game, sporting clays or trap and skeet. HISTORY: The Browning Citori is the progeny of the famous Belgium made Superposed. In the 1960s and 70s, the Browning company became aware that a firm in Japan, B.C. Miroku, was copying their guns and doing a rather good job of it too. These guns were being seen in increasing number in the UK. The Miroku shotguns were well made, a slightly simplified version of the original Superposed. Browning dispatched a delegation to Japan to negotiate with Miroku. They didn’t manage to get them to stop copying Brownings, instead they entered into what has since become a very long standing commercial relationship whereby the Japanese manufacturer ended up making the great majority of Browning over-and-unders. Thus, in 1973, the Browning Citori was born. It evolved from the 325, to the 425, and more recently, the 525. All these guns are based on a slightly (and cleverly) simplified, mass-production friendly version of the original Superposed design. It must be mentioned that the Citori is partly machine made, but a lot of hand work goes into it. These are not cheaply made guns. The Citori has become known for its "mechanical excellence" and deluxe grade features. It has become a must have for serious sportsmen around the world. SHIPPING - We offer free shipping anywhere within the continental US. All firearms must be sent to an FFL (or C&R if applicable) regardless of age or caliber. This includes antiques & muzzleloaders.

1980s COP Inc. SS-1 (3.2"), 38 Spl./357 Mag., 4-Shot Derringer (W/ Case), SN - 017351

Lot # 20

The COP (Compact Off-Duty Police) 357 Derringer was manufactured from 1983 to 1989 by the later defunct COP Inc. of California. This four-barreled break-action pistol can...more chamber either .357 Magnum or .38 Special ammunition. This pistol comes in the original blue presentation style hard case with blue felt lining & cardboard sleeve, and original manual with warranty card. Specs: Double-action trigger, full stainless steel construction with semi-matte finish, checkered wooden grips, 3.2" barrels, fixed blade front sight and fixed rear sight which also acts as the break action lever. CONDITION: This pistol is in same-as-new condition with no wear, has perfect sharp/ clean bores (possible unfired) and appears to be in good working order. HISTORY: The COP Model SS-1 (Compact Off-Duty Police), colloquially known as the COP .357 Derringer, was designed in 1983 by Robert Hillberg, with its most likely use intended to be as a backup weapon used by police forces when magnum cartridges remained popular in police use. Production was handled by COP Inc. of Torrance, California, which touted the pistol as "the finest firearm in its class". Despite this, the pistol was a commercial failure, due to its high price and various performance issues. It has, however, appeared in various movies due to its futuristic design. The COP .357 is quite robust in design and construction. It is made of solid stainless steel components. Cartridges are loaded into the four separate chambers by sliding a latch that "pops up" the barrel for loading purposes, similar to top-break shotguns. Each of the four chambers has its own dedicated firing pin. It uses an internal hammer which is activated by depressing the trigger to hit a ratcheting/rotating striker that in turn strikes one firing pin at a time. SHIPPING - We offer free shipping anywhere within the continental US. All firearms must be sent to an FFL (or C&R if applicable) regardless of age or caliber. This includes antiques & muzzleloaders.

1980s Pre-Ban Colt Model R6450 AR15 Carbine (16"), 9mm NATO, Semi-Auto, SN - TA01972

Lot # 21

The serial number on this Colt Model R6450 AR15 9mm NATO Carbine is before TA10100, indicating it is the Pre-Ban, and the overall design is consistent with mid-1980s prod...moreuction. SPECS: 16" Chrome lined barrel marked "9MM NATO", original 2-position telescoping synthetic stock, integral carry handle/ receiver top with adjustable folding peep sights, A2 vented black synthetic handguard, 1.5" ported birdcage flash hider, full dust cover, factory pinned magazine well adapter, A2 black synthetic checkered grip, front post sight with ears, sling rings with black nylon sling and come with (1) unmarked 40-round steel magazine. CONDITION: This rifle is in nice condition with some various light wear, has an excellent sharp/ clean bore and appears to be in good working order. HISTORY: In the early 1980s, Colt decided to get into the 9mm business. At the time, the majority of the 9mm SMG business was owned by Heckler & Koch with their MP5. The first model offered by colt was the selective-fire model R0635 9mm SMG. This would go on to be the standard one sold via law enforcement and export sales. Colt then introduced the commercial 16-inch AR-15 9mm carbine (R6540) which was for the most part identical to the R0635 with a few changes, and the bolt was a semi-auto-only version. Official cataloged production of the R6450 started in 1985 and lasted until 1987. In 1992 Colt introduced another 9mm carbine Model R6430 Sporter Lightweight Carbine with no bayonet lug and a small pin steel sear block in the lower receiver. From 1994–2004 the Federal Assault Weapons Ban prohibited the sale of new AR-15s in the U.S.; however, Colt continued to sell legally compliant versions. It was officially replaced in 2012 by a flat top upper receiver Model AR6951. DISCLAIMER: In 2023, Illinois passed a law banning the sale and purchase of semi-automatic "assault weapons" and large-capacity ammunition feeding devices. This law defines more than 170 different models of firearms, including this one. Illinois residents may NOT participate in this lot. As an Illinois dealer, we will not do transfer paperwork on this gun. It will need to be shipped to, or picked up by, a licensed dealer. Early-WWII (First Pattern) U.S. Hawley M1 Helmet Liner With Rayon Suspension

Lot # 22

This is a nice all original example of a first-pattern fiber M1 liner with olive green twill cloth. It features non-painted steel rectangular washers and a first pattern ...morerayon suspension (does not include chinstrap). This liner is correctly marked "LINER-FIBER-M-1" on the inside of the shell. It measures approximately 9"x8" on the inside of the suspensions - no size markings are visible. HISTORY: The first M1 liners were manufactured of fiber (a material similar to cardboard) and covered in olive green twill cloth. Hawley Products, (a renown manufacturer of fiber sun helmets for both the US and Canadian militaries) and the General Fiber Company were chosen to manufacture the M1 fiber liner. Today, these liners are referred to by collectors as “Hawley liners”. The distinctive features of Hawley liners were that they were lighter, possessed a thicker rolled rim, and a ribbed fabric textured exterior as opposed to paint or combination of paint and sand found on later liners. As can be expected, the fiber liner was not robust enough to handle the harsh treatment of combat. By late 1942, a new method of liner production was adopted for use. SHIPPING - We offer free shipping anywhere within the continental US.

1961 Belgium Browning "Twenty" (25.5" M), 20 Ga., Semi-Auto, SN - 1Z50154

Lot # 25

This Browning A5 "Twenty" shotgun was made in 1961 (SN - "1" = 1961, "Z" = Twenty). SPECS: Outline checkered walnut stock with fluted comb & gloss finish, blued receiver ...more& barrel with floral scroll engraved receiver patterns, round grip knob, original black hard rubber buttpad with embossed "BROWNING AUTOMATIC" & "FN" with floral pattern, gold trigger, 25.5" MOD barrel, serrated vent-rib with silver bead front sight, silver shell lifter, 14.25" LOP and 2 3/4" chamber. CONDITION: This gun is in beautiful condition with very light wear, has a shiny/ clean bore and appears to be in good working order. Four years later, in 1909, the first 16 gauges were introduced. The 20 gauge variant, marked "Twenty" was introduced in 1958, and became an immediate success. Although Browning advertised it as weighing less than 6 1/4 pounds, to reach that weight you had to get a gun with a short, plain barrel, and hope the wood was not very dense. It did weigh less than 6 1/2 pounds with a ribless barrel, sometimes dipping down to 6 1/4 pounds, but rarely below that weight unless you went for a 24-inch barrel. Nevertheless, it was a great success and the "Twenty" remained unchanged, except for the shape of its grip in 1968, until it was discontinued in 1997.
