Circa 1980 Squires Bingham M100D Special Edition (4"), 38 Spl., Revolver (W/ Box), SN - A382248

Lot # 331

The Armscor "Squires Bingham" Model 100D revolver was produced from 1971-1986, no official serial number date chart is known to exist. SPECS: SA/DA trigger, "Deep Velvet...more Black" finish, glossed checkered walnut flat butt grips, 4" vent-rib barrel, shrouded extractor rod, adjustable rear sight pinned to the channel, fixed ramp front sight, casecolored grooved hammer, grooved trigger and 6-shot swing-out cylinder. This gun comes in the original box with manual. CONDITION: This revolver is in nice condition with no wear to speak of, has a perfect sharp/ clean bore and appears to be in good working order. HISTORY: The enterprise that eventually came to be what is known today as Arms Corporation of the Philippines (Armscor) was started in 1905 by two Englishmen as a haberdashery and sporting goods store. After a couple of changes in ownership, the company, Squires Bingham, was bought by Celso S. Tuason in 1941. During the occupation of the Philippines by the Japanese during World War 2, all firearms were confiscated, and Squires Bingham survived solely on sales of clothing and related articles. When the war had ended, Celso Tuason recognized that firearms had been a mainstay of the business before the war, and so he set out to manufacture firearms and ammunition locally in order to avoid import tariffs and controls. In 1952, the government of the Philippines granted a license to manufacture firearms to Squires Bingham Manufacturing, Incorporated. In the mid-1960s, Celso Tuason retired and turned the family businesses over to his sons. Squires Bingham was positioned as a holding company for the family’s various enterprises, and the firearms and ammunition manufacturing operation became Arms Corporation of the Philippines. In the United States, Armscor is best known as the manufacturer of the immensely popular Rock Island Armory line of 1911-style, semi-automatic pistols. The M100 was introduced in 1970, curiously in .22WMR rather than in .22LR. A version chambered in .38 Special followed in 1971, with a .22LR version added to the lineup in 1972. These revolvers were apparently based on Colt’s older double action lockwork, characterized by a hammer-mounted firing pin and a folded leaf mainspring; however, no parts were interchangeable. Due to the cost and complexity of manufacture, the M100 line was discontinued in July of 1987. SHIPPING - We offer free shipping anywhere within the continental US. All firearms must be sent to an FFL (or C&R if applicable) regardless of age or caliber. This includes antiques & muzzleloaders.

Taurus PT111 Pro Millennium Titanium (3.25"), 9mm Para, Semi-Auto, SN - TCU64105

Lot # 343

SPECS: Titanium slide with duo-tone finish & rear serrations, black synthetic frame with textured grips & checkered straps, dovetailed Heinie sights and 12-round blued st...moreeel magazine with synthetic bumper. CONDITION: This pistol is in nice condition with no wear to speak of, has an excellent sharp/ clean bore and appears to be in good working order. REVIEW: The Taurus PT-111 Millennium Pro is an amazingly powerful, yet compact, pistol from Taurus that is loaded with lots of features normally only found on much more expensive pistols. It uses a "single-action/double-action" trigger, meaning the first and all subsequent shots are a light, crisp single action pull. However, if the cartridge ever fails to discharge, the pistol isn't rendered useless, rather, it reverts to a smooth double action pull, allowing for a second strike on the cartridge. As many failure-to-fires are a result of the ammo, not the gun, this allows the shooter to get back into the action merely by pulling the trigger. The sights are the highly respected Heinie "Straight Eight". These sights are typically a high-end upgrade, yet they are standard on this Taurus pistol. The polymer frame is aggressively textured, giving the shooter a positive grip on the pistol in virtually any climate conditions, yet the ergonomics are such so you are comfortable shooting during an all-day trip to the local range. Limited Production - Taurus M66 Silhouette SS (12"), 45 Colt, Revolver (W/ Box), SN - VL998932

Lot # 346

This Taurus 45 Colt silhouette revolver, with a 12" barrel, was a special production run that was imported to the U.S. in an attempt to "feel out the market" on this part...moreicular caliber/ configuration. A few U.S. wholesalers were offered a couple of these revolvers just to see how they would sell (possibly less that 100 produced). But, ultimately they were never cataloged - i.e. they did not sell well. SPECS: DA/SA trigger, full stainless steel construction with matte finish, 12" vent-rib barrel with shrouded extractor rod, adjustable rear sight pinned to the channel, pinned Patridge front sight, black textured rubber combat grips, checkered hammer, factory stainless picatinny rail and 6-shot cylinder. This gun comes in the original serial number matching box with paperwork; however, the label is marked "M66 357 Magnum/ 7-shots". CONDITION: This revolver is from a former Firearms Wholesale Distributor and is in same-as-new condition with no wear, has a perfect sharp/ clean bore and appears to be in good working order. SHIPPING - We offer free shipping anywhere within the continental US. All firearms must be sent to an FFL (or C&R if applicable) regardless of age or caliber. This includes antiques & muzzleloaders.

Taurus PT22 - Blued/ Gold/ Rosewood (2.75"), 22 LR, Semi-Auto (W/ Box), SN - Z000762

Lot # 348

SPECS: Double-action only trigger, 2.75" "tip-up" barrel, blued frame & slide, gold controls/ trigger & screws, contoured Rosewood grips with glossed finish, fixed groove...more rear sight, fixed ramp front sight, rear slide serrations and 8-round steel magazine with blued metal bumper. This gun comes in the original black hardcase with paperwork. CONDITION: This pistol is in same-as-new condition with no wear, has a perfect sharp/ clean bore & appears to be in good working order. REVIEW: Taurus has been making the PT-22 since 1992. This pistol is pretty much a copy of Beretta's Bobcat design with its unique tip-up barrel and dual offset slide recoil springs. But unlike the Bobcat, the Taurus PT-22 is a spurless hammer double-action only pistol. There is a felt sense of quality in the pistol's construction with solid cast and forged parts and finely tooled surfaces. The PT22 offers a small yet powerful package taking advantage of the .22 LR cartridge - one of the most popular and affordable cartridges in production today. These petite pistols pack a wallop and are an excellent choice for a safe, reliable conceal & carry gun. SHIPPING - We offer free shipping anywhere within the continental US. All firearms must be sent to an FFL (or C&R if applicable) regardless of age or caliber. This includes antiques & muzzleloaders.
