Lot # 27

This Colt Model AR6450 9mm Nato Semi-Auto Carbine comes in the original "blue label" box and original purchase receipt. This gun was purchased in 1999 (back order until 2...more001) and is receiver marked "RESTRICTED MILITARY/ GOVERNMENT/ LAW ENFOREMENT/ EXPORT ONLY". This rifle was produced during the Federal Assault Weapons Ban, but is a legally compliant version manufactured for Military/ Police units or export only (ban ended in 2004). SPECS: 16" Chrome lined barrel marked "9MM", original 4-position telescoping synthetic stock, integral carry handle/ receiver top with adjustable folding peep sights, A2 vented black synthetic handguard, 1.5" ported birdcage flash hider, full dust cover with shell deflector, factory pinned magazine well adapter, A2 black synthetic checkered grip, front post sight with ears, sling rings and come with (3) 32-round steel magazines. CONDITION: This rifle is in nice condition with very light wear, has an excellent sharp/ clean bore and appears to be in good working order. HISTORY: In the early 1980s, Colt decided to get into the 9mm business. At the time, the majority of the 9mm SMG business was owned by Heckler & Koch with their MP5. The first model offered by colt was the selective-fire model R0635 9mm SMG. This would go on to be the standard one sold via law enforcement and export sales. Colt then introduced the commercial 16-inch AR-15 9mm carbine (R6540) which was for the most part identical to the R0635 with a few changes, and the bolt was a semi-auto-only version. Several other model numbers were introduced from 1992-2012. From 1994–2004 the Federal Assault Weapons Ban prohibited the sale of new AR-15s in the U.S.; however, Colt continued to sell legally compliant versions. DISCLAIMER: In 2023, Illinois passed a law banning the sale and purchase of semi-automatic "assault weapons" and large-capacity ammunition feeding devices. This law defines more than 170 different models of firearms, including this one. Illinois residents may NOT participate in this lot. As an Illinois dealer, we will not do transfer paperwork on this gun. It will need to be shipped to, or picked up by, a licensed dealer. 1978 Colt Trooper MK III - Nickel (4"), 357 Magnum, Revolver (W/ Box), SN - 10854L

Lot # 28

According to the Colt Proofhouse Archives, this Trooper MK III was made in 1978. This gun comes in the original box with paperwork. SPECS: Factory nickel finish, 4" ribbe...mored barrel with shrouded extractor rod, Patridge-style pinned front sight, adjustable rear sight pinned to the channel, checkered walnut Presentation Target grips with Rampant Colt gold medallion inlays, grooved rear strap and 6-shot swing-out cylinder. CONDITION: This gun is in beautiful condition with light wear, has an excellent sharp/ clean bore and appears to be in good working order. HISTORY: Introduced to the firearms market in 1953, the double-action Colt Trooper was designed with the intention of addressing the medium frame revolver market as law enforcement officers had long complained about the weight of earlier models. The Trooper was made in three different variants/production runs - Original Trooper 1953 - 1969, Trooper MK III 1969 - 1983 & Trooper MKV 1982 - 1986. Intended to be the first major advancement of Colt's designs since the beginning of the 20th century, the MK IIIs used a new "J" frame and had no parts interchangeability with older models. The new revolvers employed transfer-bar lock work system so that the revolver could fire only if the trigger was deliberately pulled completely to the rear. The springs used in the MK IIIs internals were also an improvement. Unlike the older flat style, they were coiled and made entirely of corrosion-resistant stainless steel. SHIPPING - We offer free shipping anywhere within the continental US. All firearms must be sent to an FFL (or C&R if applicable) regardless of age or caliber. This includes antiques & muzzleloaders.

1983 Smith & Wesson 25-5 - Nickel (6"), 45 Colt, Revolver (W/ Paperwork), SN - N842941

Lot # 31

According to the Standard Catalog Of Smith & Wesson's book, this Model 25-5 was made in circa 1983. SPECS: Factory nickel finish, SA/DA trigger, 6" ribbed barrel, shroude...mored extractor rod, serrated casehardened hammer, grooved casehardened trigger, checkered walnut Magna-Style grips with S&W medallions, 10-groove rear strap, adjustable rear sight pinned to the channel, Patridge front sight with orange insert and 6-shot swing-out cylinder. This gun comes in a period correct blue S&W box (no label) and paperwork. CONDITION: This gun will have a small rust spot on the left side of the frame at the rear near the grip, otherwise it is in beautiful condition with very light wear, has a sharp/ clean bore and appears to be in good working order. HISTORY: Introduced in 1955, the big N-framed Smith & Wesson Model 25 was originally marketed as the “.45 Target Model”. Proving popular with Bullseye competitors, after 1957, it was officially called the Model 25, with the Model 1950 rebranded as the Model 22. Generational improvements on the Model 25 series typically alternated between .45ACP and .45 Colt versions, with the even numbers going to the former and odd dashes to the latter. For instance, the 25-5 was a .45 Colt, while the 25-6 was chambered in .45 ACP. By 1979, Smith had replaced the 6.5-inch barrel models with a shorter 6-inch variant in production, while retaining the 4-inch models and introducing an even longer 8.375-inch model as well. The Model 25 has undergone several minor changes and updates through the years which are identified by the "-#" after the model number (example 25-1, 25-2, etc.). By 1991, Smith & Wesson dropped the Model 25 from their regular catalog leaving it as a special production gun and in 1999 halted even that. After a brief hiatus, however, the big .45 target revolver was reintroduced as the 25-11 just after the Millenium. Today, S&W continues making the Model 25 as part of their Classic Line of revolvers with a pinned Patridge front sight, Micro-Adjustable rear, and 6.5-inch barrel. SHIPPING - We offer free shipping anywhere within the continental US. All firearms must be sent to an FFL (or C&R if applicable) regardless of age or caliber. This includes antiques & muzzleloaders.

1969 Belgium Browning "Magnum Twenty" (27.5" IM), 20 Ga., Semi-Auto, SN - 69X29011

Lot # 32

This Browning A5 "Magnum Twenty" shotgun was made in 1969 (SN - "69" = 1969, "X" = Magnum Twenty). SPECS: Outline checkered walnut stock with fluted comb & gloss finish, ...moreblued receiver & barrel with floral scroll engraved receiver patterns, original black hard rubber buttpad with embossed "BROWNING AUTOMATIC" & "FN" with floral pattern, gold trigger, 27.5" IM barrel, serrated vent-rib with silver bead front sight, silver shell lifter, 14" LOP and 3" chamber. CONDITION: This gun is in good condition with some various light wear, has a shiny/ clean bore and appears to be in good working order. HISTORY: The Browning A-5 " humpback" shotgun first came off the production line at the Fabrique Nationale factory in Belgium in 1903. The first shipment to the U.S. arrived in 1905, all in 12 gauge. Four years later, in 1909, the first 16 gauges were introduced. The 20 gauge variant, marked "Twenty" was introduced in 1958 and became an immediate success. Although Browning advertised it as weighing less than 6 1/4 pounds, to reach that weight you had to get a gun with a short, plain barrel, and hope the wood was not very dense. It did weigh less than 6 1/2 pounds with a ribless barrel, sometimes dipping down to 6 1/4 pounds, but rarely below that weight unless you went for a 24-inch barrel. Nevertheless, it was a great success and the "Twenty" remained unchanged, except for the shape of its grip in 1968, until it was discontinued in 1997. SHIPPING - We offer free shipping anywhere within the continental US. All firearms must be sent to an FFL (or C&R if applicable) regardless of age or caliber. This includes antiques & muzzleloaders.

CONDITION: This revolver is in same-as-new condition with no wear, has a perfect sharp/ clean bore and appears to be in good working order. HISTORY: Writers of the day suggested that the Model 547 was developed in response to an inquiry from the French government in the late 1970s to provide a 9mm revolver for police use. One of their requirements was a revolver that could function with the rimless 9mm round without using moon clips. Roger Curran, who was the Director of Research and Development at S&W at that time, led the project. At some point, the French reconsidered and took a different path. Curran had invested a lot of time and resources in the project and drove on. After three years, the 547 was introduced to the United States commercial market. It was no easy task getting it to work right without moon clips. Curran’s team came up with some incredibly innovative ways to make the 547 function like the French had originally requested.
