1941 Russian Tula Tokarev SVT-40 (24.5"), 7.62x54R, Semi-Auto, SN - TN3570

Lot # 129

This WWII Russian service rifle is marked Star/ "1941" on the top of the receiver (produced at the Tula Arsenal in 1941) and was imported to the U.S. by C.A.I. SPECS: Glo...moressed wood stock with grooved forearm & vented handguard, ventilated metal nose caps, metal buttplate, 24.5" barrel, 2" ported muzzle break (26.5" total barrel length with break), adjustable folding tangent rear sight, hooded front post sight, bayonet lug, metal cleaning rod, sling rings and 10-round detachable box magazine. CONDITION: This gun is in beautiful "surplus" condition with no wear to speak of, has a perfect sharp/ clean bore and appears to be in good working order. HISTORY: The "Tokarev self-loading rifle" (SVT) was a Russian service rifle that saw action during World War II. It was intended to be the new service rifle of the Soviet Red Army, but its production was disrupted by the German invasion in 1941, resulting in a change back to the Mosin–Nagant rifle for the duration of World War II. Its predecessor, the SVT-38 saw its combat debut in the 1939–1940 Winter War with Finland. The rifle had many design flaws and was terminated in April, 1940, after some 150,000 examples had been manufactured. With the removal of the SVT-38 from service, an improved design, the SVT-40, entered production. It was a more refined, lighter design incorporating a folding magazine release and lightening cuts. The hand guard was now of one-piece construction and the cleaning rod was housed under the barrel. Other changes were made to simplify manufacturing. Production of the improved version began in July, 1940, at Tula and later at factories in Izhevsk and Podolsk. In 1942, the Izhevsk Arsenal was ordered to cease SVT production and switch back to the Mosin–Nagant 91/30. Only 264,000 SVTs were manufactured in 1942, and production continued to diminish until the order to cease all production was finally given in January, 1945. SHIPPING - We offer free shipping anywhere within the continental US. All firearms must be sent to an FFL (or C&R if applicable) regardless of age or caliber. This includes antiques & muzzleloaders.

Nodak Spud NDS-2SF - Bulgarian AK-74S (16"), 5.45x39, Semi-Auto, SN - K000311

Lot # 137

This semi-automatic Bulgarian style AK-74S rifle is built on a Nodak Spud receiver, primarily with original Bulgarian parts. SPECS: 16" Barrel, 3" muzzle break, folding r...moreear metal stock, checkered black plastic grip, black synthetic handguard, adjustable folding leaf rear sight, front post sight with ears and 30-round black synthetic magazine. CONDITION: This gun is in nice condition with light wear, has an excellent sharp/ clean bore and appears to be in good working order. HISTORY: The AK-74 was designed in 1974 by D. Kryakushin's group under the design supervision of Mikhail Kalashnikov. It is an adaptation of the 7.62×39mm AKM assault rifle and features several important design improvements. These improvements were primarily the result of converting the rifle to the intermediate-caliber high velocity 5.45×39mm cartridge. Bulgaria, the once renowned arms supplier of the Soviet Union has gained a lot of notoriety because of its weapon manufacturing capabilities, especially the Kalashnikov variants. From massive world powers like India, to rebels and terrorist organizations all over the world, Bulgarian Kalashnikov variants have made their way into some of the most influential conflicts since its inception. The Kazanlak facility was named the State Military Factory and that was responsible for building and repairing nearly all weaponry and equipment related to the military and security services in Bulgaria. Around 1956, the state-run arsenal in Kazanlak, Factory 10, started production and assembly of Kalashnikov rifles. The number 10 inside concentric circles, or "double circle 10" logo can be found on Bulgarian AK rifles from Factory 10. The rifles manufactured by the Bulgarian Kazanlak facility were designated as AKK. After the fall of the Soviet Union and the dissolution of the People's Republic of Bulgaria in the early 1990s, the environment for weapons manufacturing in Bulgaria started to change. By this time, Bulgarian factories had made a lot of weapons and had become quite good at it. With less of a military need and seeing the commercial potential, they started focusing more on the Export of their AK-47 and AK-74 variants. DISCLAIMER: In 2023, Illinois passed a law banning the sale and purchase of semi-automatic "assault weapons" and large-capacity ammunition feeding devices. By this time, Bulgarian factories had made a lot of weapons, and had become quite good at it. With less of military need and seeing the commercial potential, they started focusing more on the Export of their AK-47 and AK-74 variants. DISCLAIMER: In 2023, Illinois passed a law banning the sale and purchase of semi-automatic "assault weapons" and large-capacity ammunition feeding devices. This law defines more than 170 different models of firearms, including this one. Illinois residents may NOT participate in this lot. As an Illinois dealer, we will not do transfer paperwork on this gun. It will need to be shipped to, or picked up by, a licensed dealer. SHIPPING - We offer free shipping anywhere within the continental US. All firearms must be sent to an FFL (or C&R if applicable) regardless of age or caliber. This includes antiques & muzzleloaders.

1 Of 2500 - Winchester 9422 - 25th Anniversary (20.5"), 22 S L LR, Lever-Action (NIB), SN - FTF0805

Lot # 144

This Winchester Model 9422 Grade I lever-action rifle is one of 2500 produced in 1997 to commemorate the 9422's 25th "Silver" Anniversary. SPECS: Engraved right side of t...morehe receiver with Winchester Horse & Rider marked "TWENTY-FIFTH ANNIVERSARY 1997" with floral scroll accents, engraved left side of the receiver with a father & son shooting scene marked: "ONE OF TWENTY FIVE HUNDRED 9422" with floral scroll accents, checkered American walnut stock with English grip & oiled finish, 20.5" barrel with recessed muzzle crown, black checkered buttpad with embossed Winchester logo, adjustable elevator semi-buckhorn rear sight, hooded ramp front sight, grooved receiver top and 15-round tube magazine. CONDITION: This gun is new/unfired, comes in original box with hangtag & paperwork, has a perfect sharp/ clean bore and appears to be in good working order. HISTORY: In 1972, Winchester Repeating Arms Company had just invested a large amount of money in computer-controlled manufacturing equipment that would help to update their sadly antiquated plant in New Haven, Connecticut. Embarrassed that economy moves had cheapened many of their firearms and tarnished Winchester's reputation for quality, the management sought to make a new flagship .22 rifle that would erase that image and reflect quality in every respect. The result was the Model 9422, and it did indeed revitalize Winchester's reputation. Although now no longer made, this lever action look-alike to the time-honored Model 94 .30-30 has become a sought-after modern classic. Winchester spared no expense in making the rifle as perfect as possible. The best materials were used; a milled forged steel frame and internal parts and a walnut stock were standard. The rifle was attractive, reliable, and accurate. Careful bluing and fitting were employed. Although traditional open sights were utilized, the receiver was grooved for scope mounting if desired. Following the Model 61 precedent, the rifle could be taken down into two major assemblies plus the bolt, allowing cleaning from the breech to protect the muzzle from damage. All in all, the new gun could easily be termed a masterpiece. In 1997, a 25-year Anniversary Edition was produced in limited quantities and offered in two grades - High Grade (250 Produced) and Grade I (2500 produced). Due to the very low production run, these "Silver Anniversary" Editions have become extremely sought after by collectors. SHIPPING - We offer free shipping anywhere within the continental US. All firearms must be sent to an FFL (or C&R if applicable) regardless of age or caliber. This includes antiques & muzzleloaders.

1959 (First Year) Ruger Super Blackhawk (7.5"), 44 Magnum, Revolver (W/ Case), SN - 1456

Lot # 147

According to Ruger's Serial Number Database, this "Old Model" Super Blackhawk (without transfer bar) was produced in 1959 which was the first year of production. This gun...more comes in the original dovetailed Mahogany display case which was only offered from 1959-1961. SPECS: 7.5" Barrel, adjustable rear sight pinned to the channel, Patridge front sight, smooth walnut grips with silver/ black logo medallion inlays, polished blued finish, serrated hammer and 6-shot cylinder chambered for 44 Remington Magnum. CONDITION: This gun is in beautiful condition with very light wear, has an excellent sharp/ clean bore and appears to be in good working order. HISTORY: The Ruger Blackhawk is a six-shot, single-action revolver that was introduced in 1955. The Super Blackhawk (chambered for magnum loads) was introduced in 1959. Ruger’s Super Blackhawk can certainly be called an overwhelming success. It was a hit right from the beginning and was to become the flagship of their single action revolver line. Finished in a superior high polish compared to the standard Blackhawk guns, wearing a long grip frame with a distinctive dragoon-style trigger guard, there was nothing quite like the "Super" at the time. The early Blackhawk models (pre-1974) still operated the same way as the Colt SAA in that the hammer was half cocked to load and unload, and that the firearm was not safe to carry with all six chambers loaded due to the hammer resting upon the sixth chamber. In 1973, in order to eliminate accidents occurring from the hammer jarring against a round loaded in the sixth chamber, Ruger introduced the "New Model" Blackhawk. The New Model Blackhawk did not require the hammer to be half cocked for loading and unloading, and it employed a transfer bar mechanism which prevented the cartridge under the hammer from being fired without the trigger being pulled. All Super Blackhawks, new & early styles, are capable of operating with much higher pressure handloads than factory produced ammunition in .44 Magnum. It is one of the top choices for handgun hunting and is capable of reliably taking down deer, elk, caribou, moose, lion, grizzly or brown bear and even cape buffalo. It combines the reliability and simplicity of a revolver with the energy of the famous magnum cartridge. SHIPPING - We offer free shipping anywhere within the continental US. All firearms must be sent to an FFL (or C&R if applicable) regardless of age or caliber. This includes antiques & muzzleloaders.
