Lot # 150

The Winchester Model 50 is a semi-automatic shotgun designed by David Marshall Williams in 1950, and produced by Winchester from 1954 to 1962. It was a "high-quality" sho...moretgun that was designed to compete with the popular Remington and Savage lines of semi-automatic shotguns of the era. Due to its moderate commercial success and high production costs, Winchester discontinued it in 1962. According to Winchester Arms Collector Organization, this Model 50 was made in 1959. Features include an outline checkered walnut stock with fluted comb & gloss finish, black checkered buttpad, 28" FULL barrel, vent-rib with dual silver bead sights, 2 3/4" chamber and 14" LOP. This gun will have a small chip on the bottom of the butt stock at the buttplate, but otherwise is in excellent condition with very light wear and appears to be in good working order.

S&W Performance Center, 945-1 Compact (3.25"), 45 ACP, Semi-Auto (NIB), SN - UFC2489

Lot # 151

The Performance Center 945 is a Smith & Wesson hybrid pistol with a combination of the 4006 series and their 1911 offerings. The Generation Three 645 contributed the slid...moree, and the 4506 provided the base. By combining the single action and active safeties from the 1911 with the above platform, Smith & Wesson created a unique and desirable firearm. Performance Center (PC) guns originate from standard designs or are created from scratch. From hand cutting and fitting to fine tuning for precision, these firearms are top performers. Products from the PC are the ultimate expression of old–world craftsmanship blended with modern technology. On the Model 945, PC did away with a number of undesirable 1911 features. For example, the 945’s barrel is linkless. It uses a spherical barrel bushing and external extractor, and it acquired a superior grip angle. In 2005, when the 945 debuted, Smith & Wesson was obsessed with accuracy, and many of their higher-priced pistols featured Briley’s spherical barrel bushing. The 945 was no exception and is a tack driver. Since the new gun was almost expressly intended not to have parts interchangeability with the Colt 1911, Wilson Combat was contracted to produce the proprietary grip safety which is indeed ergonomically correct for this particular pistol. The Model 945-1 was updated with an internal firing pin block and visual loaded chamber indicator. This Performance Center 945-1 Compact sports a matte black finish, beavertail grip safety, thumb safety, scalloped slide serrations, Hogue black checkered laminate grips, checkered front & rear straps, dovetailed target sights, adjustable skeletonized trigger and serrated bobbed hammer. This gun comes in the original factory hardcase with (2) 6-round stainless magazines and paperwork. This gun is in new condition with no wear, has an excellent sharp/ clean bore and appears to be in good working order. This gun is from a former firearm's wholesale distributor and is new-old-stock.

1974 Smith & Wesson, 34-1 "Kit Gun" (2" Nickle), 22 LR, Revolver, SN - M7589

Lot # 152

The Smith & Wesson "Kit Gun" is a small, 6-shot, .22 Long Rifle, double-action revolver that was designed to be easily packed in a hunting or fishing "kit" for small game...more hunting, plinking, pest control and self defense. In 1911, the Kit Gun line began as the Model 22/32. In 1953, an improved model was introduced, the "22/32 Kit Gun Model of 1953”. In 1958, Smith and Wesson renamed it the Model 34. This production line continued until 1960 when it was redesigned using the slightly larger J-frame and marketed as the model 34–1. The Model 34-1 continued to be manufactured until 1991. According to the "Standard Catalog Of Smith & Wesson" book, this Model 34-1 "Kit Gun" was made in circa 1974. KRISS, SPHINX (Switzerland), SDP Compact (3.25"), 9mm PARA, Semi-Auto (NIB), SN - S12B003211

Lot # 153

Switzerland maintains an impeccable reputation for fine machining, particularly with regards to small parts. It is acknowledged worldwide for its knives and watches—and, ...moreto a smaller audience, for its firearms. SPHINX pistols are a case in point. These pistols are precision crafted for an unparalleled ownership experience. Every major component is machined from billet and assembled by hand to ensure the very best fit and finish. Like its larger brother, the SDP Duty, this SDP Compact is imported into America by Kriss, the company best known for its line of Vector carbines and submachine guns. The SPHINX pistols have been sought after by IPSC competitors and law enforcement agencies for decades, largely because of the hybrid design that makes them suitable for both duty and competition use. It consists of a steel slide and barrel assembly that is hand-fitted to an aircraft-grade, hard-coat-anodized aluminum frame. Toward the rear of the frame, you will find bilateral decockers, as the SDP uses a double-action/single-action configuration. Just in front of the left-side decocker is a slide stop that can easily be actuated by the right thumb or the left trigger finger. Both of these controls are built with a stepped contour for easy manipulation with minimal risk of snagging. The SDP Compact also makes use of a low-profile hammer to further reduce this hazard. The pistol’s interchangeable backstrap is a one-piece rubber insert that wraps around both sides of the grip, and extra inserts included with the gun allow the shooter to fine tune the circumference of the grip to the dimensions of his or her hands. Completing the grip are deeply machined finger grooves with vertical striations cut into the front strap. Machined into the SDP Compact’s dustcover is a four-slot Picatinny rail for the attachment of accessories such as flashlights or lasers. The extractor performs double duty as a loaded-chamber indicator, allowing just a sliver of the case to show when the chamber is occupied. The 3.5" barrel with 6-groove rifling and 1-10" RH twist gives the user consistent and accurate shots every time they pull the trigger. This SPHINX is new/ unfired, comes in black hardcase with (2) 15-round magazine, backstraps & cleaning kit and appears to be in good working order. This gun is from a former firearm's wholesale distributor and is new-old-stock.

1976 Smith & Wesson, Airweight Model 37 (2"), 38 Spl., Revolver, SN - J338982

The Airweight Model 37 is the younger brother to the Model 36 “Chief’s Special”. Released in 1951, this small "J" frame double-action revolver is chambered for .38 Specia...morel. Boberg, XR9-L Compact (4"), 9mm PARA, Semi-Auto (NIB), SN - L00438

Lot # 155

The Boberg XR9-L is a pretty slick compact carry gun that harkens back to the original monster hand cannon, the Mars Automatic Pistol. What makes the Boberg so interestin...moreg is that it feeds cartridges backwards out of the magazine, instead of the standard method of pushing them forward like the Mars did. This requires a pretty creative feed system, and all for the end goal of getting a long barrel in a short pistol. The Boberg XR9-L manages to squeeze a 4" barrel into a gun with an overall length of barely 6 inches. Why go to all the work of designing an unconventional pistol for that one feature? Well, it lets you get the most possible performance out of the 9mm cartridge. Judging from the data at Ballistics by the Inch, that extra inch of barrel length gets you 100fps more velocity with many brands of ammo – or in another view, it gives you +P performance from standard cartridges, compared to the 3" barrel in any other pistol the size of the XR9-L. The grip design and locked breech design really helps mitigate the recoil, and the XR9-L is a very comfortable pistol to shoot (unlike many compact handguns). The trigger is long, but smooth. Magazine design on the Boberg is a definite departure from what one expects to see. Since it feeds backwards out of the mag, cartridges are held nose-down, and the feed lips are folded down around the nose of the rounds to hold them securely in position. No follower is used in the magazines; instead the magazine spring pushes directly on the bottom cartridge. Other features include a double-action only (DAO) trigger with concealed hammer, smooth stainless trigger, low profile target sights, lower accessory rail and 7-round magazine. This gun comes in the original box with soft case and paperwork. This gun is in new condition with no wear, has an excellent sharp/ clean bore and appears to be in good working order. This gun is from a former firearm's wholesale distributor and is new-old-stock.

2009 Ruger, 50th Anniversary New Model Super Blackhawk (7.5"), 44 Mag. Revolver (NIB), SN - SB-00017

Lot # 156

Ruger’s Super Blackhawk can certainly be called an overwhelming success. It was a hit right from the beginning in 1959 when Ruger first started producing what was to beco...moreme the flagship of their single action revolver line. Finished in a superior high polish compared to the standard Blackhawk guns, wearing a long grip frame with a distinctive dragoon-style trigger guard, there was nothing quite like the Super at the time. The old Supers were built with a high polish blued finish that shine like a mirror, and Ruger has given the same high polish finish to this 50th Anniversary gun as well. The grip frame is perfectly fitted to the cylinder frame, and the highly-figured wood grips fit very well to the grip frame. The gold lines around the cylinder and the gold lettering atop the barrel are very tastefully done. The ejector rod housing is polished blue steel, and well fitted to the barrel and frame. The barrel/cylinder gap is an even four one-thousandths (.004) of an inch. The wide hammer spur and wide trigger add a touch of class. This anniversary gun is classic Super Blackhawk in every way. Other features include a 7.5" barrel, precision click adjustable rear sight pinned to the channel, Patridge front sight, smooth dark walnut grips with silver Ruger logo medallions and 6-shot cylinder.

The Ruger Single-Six is a six-shot, single-action rimfire revolver that was introduced in 1953 when westerns were popular in movies and television. Lot # 162

In 1983, Ruger introduced its New Model Blackhawk chambered in .357 Maximum. It was a .357 caliber revolver utilizing a cartridge case .315 inches longer than a standard ...more.357 Mag. At the beginning of World War II, Colt ceased production of the Single Action Army revolver to devote more time to filling orders for the war. When the war ended, the advent of television and Western themed movies created customer demand for the revolver, so Colt resumed manufacturing in 1956 with the Second Generation line of Single Action Army revolvers. These Second Generation Colt Single Action Army revolvers were produced from 1956 to 1974. A Third Generation began in 1975, characterized by a change in barrel thread pitch and a solid cylinder bushing replacing the removable/replaceable part from the first and second generations. A Cross-Bolt Safety was implemented in 1982. The New Frontier was introduced in 1961, and the name “New Frontier” took advantage of the slogan made popular by President John F. Kennedy. From the outset, the Colt New Frontier was to single-actions what the Colt Python was to double-action revolvers, the Cadillac of handguns. The target-sighted single-action came with a smooth action, attractive finish and high-visibility adjustable sights. According to Colt's Serial Number Database, this Second Generation Colt SAA "New Frontier" was made in 1974. Features include a 6" barrel, adjustable rear sight pinned to the channel, Patridge front sight, casehardened frame, black checkered grips with U.S. Eagle crest & embossed Rampant Colt and comes in original Styrofoam packaging. This gun is in same-as-new condition with no wear, has a perfect sharp/ clean bore and appears to be in good working order... This gun is from the Outstanding Don Crawford 70+ years Collector/ Investment Grade Collection.

Lot # 172

Introduced in 1907, the Colt Police Positive Special is a small frame, double-action revolver with a six round cylinder. It was an iterative improvement of Colt's earlier...more Police Positive model, the only differences being a slightly lengthened cylinder and elongated & strengthened frame to allow the chambering of the longer, more powerful .32-20 Winchester and .38 Special cartridges. Very popular with law enforcement officers due to its light weight, the Positive Special went through a number of series or “issues”. The first issue ran from 1907 to 1927 and had the early 1900-era distinctive Colt black hard rubber grips. The second issue introduced wooden grips which were smooth in the early years, later giving way to a checkered style, also the smooth top strap was replaced with a serrated one to reduce glare. The Third issue began in 1947. the Fourth issue in 1977 introduced a Colt Python-style shrouded ejector-rod housing. Production of the Police Positive Special ended in 1995. According to Colt Archives serial number database, this Fist Issue Police Positive Special 32-20 W.C.F. revolver was made in 1911. GLOCK, 42 Subcompact (3.25"), 380 ACP, Semi-Auto (New-In-Hardcase), SN - ACSY313

Lot # 173

The Glock pistol has without a doubt become the preferred sidearm of many law enforcement agencies in the United States. The commercial market is just as large if not the...more largest in the country. Throughout the world the pistol has been adopted by Army and Special Forces units, law enforcement as well as competition, recreation and self-defense users. However, one very popular caliber that has always been missing in the GLOCK family was the .380 Auto (9x17mm). Oddly enough, Glock has made pistols in this caliber for many years, but they did not appear in the U.S. The reason for this is that in order to import pistols into the United States, there is a point scale that they must reach. GLOCK's configuration of their pistol chambered in .380 Auto caliber did not accrue enough points to be considered importable due to the caliber. So, GLOCK decided to build a 380 Auto model at their GLOCK USA facilities in Smyrna, GA. Released in 2014, the G42 is a striker-fired, subcompact pistol and is an excellent choice for personal protection. With 3.25" barrel, target sights, empty weight of under 14 ounces and ultra compact frame size, the G42 is truly a unique carry option. This gun comes in original black hardcase with (3) 6-round magazines and paperwork. This gun is in new condition with no wear, has a perfect sharp/ clean bore and appears to be in good working order. This gun is from a former firearm's wholesale distributor and is new-old-stock.
