Colt, Model 1873 SAA, .44-40, s/n 288837, revolver, brl length 7.5", single action

Lot # 1 (Sale Order: 1 of 708)      

very good condition, Manufactured 1907, case colored receiver with a majority of colors present showing some very light freckling in a few small spots. Single line barre...morel address reads "COLTS PT F A MFG CO HARTFORD CT USA" with the left side of the barrel marking of ".44 W.C.F.". The bluing on barrel shows off except for a very small area of loss left side at muzzle as well as very light pin point spotting right side barrel and superficial hairline scratches. Bore shines with small area of very light surface pitting. Smooth oversized walnut grip panels show only light handling marks. Hammer with checkered spur shows light freckling either side. Cylinder shows noticeable drag line and only the slightest thinning in spots between the dragline and rear face the remaining bluing on the cylinder appears fine with only a few blemishes and flash pitting marks in a couple spots. 11-5-25

very good condition, Manufactured 1863 having been refinished at some point with visible numbers matching on barrel, frame, trigger guard and backstrap along with last fo...moreur number present on the cylinder. Cylinder has faint but present Naval engagement scene with a "D" marked right side of barrel. Brass trigger guard shows little wear with nice tone and the blued metal finish shows a few areas of light freckling left side of barrel mostly. Bore shines bright and the action is crisp. Smooth walnut grip shows little handling wear.

very good condtion, Manufactured 1965 having gold tone Rampant Colt Medallion checkered wood panel grips that show almost no wear, all roll marks have gold wash in letter...mores and numbers with only minor thinning to the bottom of the "G" & "U" in the work "MAGNUM" left side of barrel. Vent rib barrel with full underlug, adjustable rear sight with fixed serrated ramp pinned front. Bluing shows only 2 very light surface scratches left side on top strap with very minor thinning on underlug at front. There is almost no dragline present and bore shines As New. 11-8-8

brl length 4.75", single action, As New unfired condition, This Colt revolver Manufactured in 1982 paying tribute to John Wayne is the same model carried during his caree...morer. Revolver has a gold etched American Eagle motif "JOHN WAYNE" banner engraving on the left side and American scroll engraving on the right side of barrel. A gold etched image of John Wayne framed in an American scroll on left side of the cylinder and an image of him astride his horse on the right. The backstrap is etched with John Wayne's signature as well as the Red River "D", the brand from the famous Wayne picture both highlighted in gold wash. The grips are genuine Ivory and the entire revolver shows no wear. It is accompanied with a French fitted genuine oak case lined in burgundy suede with John Wayne's signature branded into the lid, A Colt Industries April 1, 1982 announcement letter and color pamphlet along with case key and felt bag. Case does have a crack in the lid. Fine Colt revolver honoring the Duke. 11-3-8

very good plus condition, Barrels are both marked "FULL" with left side barrel Legend reading "MODEL 21-WINCHESTER/TRADE MARK-12 GAUGE 2 3/4 & 3 IN.". Underside of recei...morever is marked "DUCK". Nicely figured high grade walnut checkered pistol grip stock having red "WINCHESTER" marked cushion rubber recoil pad and 13.5 L.O.P. There is a very small repaired chip at top tang. The 3 panel checkered beavertail forend is a nicely figured walnut high grade piece of wood as well, showing a small tool/handling mark on right side of rear diamond approximately .5" long. Sling attachment points with solid concave rib where a single bead is mounted. Single selectable trigger. The bluing shows off well on all metal surfaces with the slightest of thinning on the two sling mounting points. Beautiful Model 21 with bright shiny bores and very little handling. Case is Winchester plated with tan exterior and crushed Velveteen interior 11-7-15

s/n 6677, shotgun, brl length 30" & 32" barrels, over/under, very good condition, Nicely figured Kriefhoff custom walnut checkered pistol grip stock with Schnabel forend ...morehaving adjustable cheek riser and Kick-eez butt pad with 14.5" L.O.P., "KC" engraved grip cap with the wood showing only handling marks. Pistol grip has a right side palm swell with a very small loss of wood at rear of forend bottom side. Over/under 30" barrels are numbered to the gun with top being full and bottom Improved Modified. Vent rib with double beads and bores that shine bright. The trap single 32" barrel is not numbered but fitted to the shotgun. Serial number is 3454 having bent rib with double beads as well. Metal surfaces show only the slightest of handling wear. Everything is nicely stored away in a K-20 aluminum case. Beautiful K-32 set. 11-7-16

very good condition, Very nice example of a West Germany produced December of 1959 Sauer shotgun with ejectors. Having 2.75" chambers being choked half and full with gol...mored pin cocking indicators and automatic safety reset. The left side barrel is engraved "Royal/J.P. SAUER & SOHN/MADE IN W-GERMANY/Spezial Laufstahl Bochumer Verein/12/70/2 3/4" with the right side being marked the same except Royal and numbers are not present on that side. Germanic scroll engraved receiver with scalloped back edge having a line border with traces of color case hardening and underside of receiver being marked "ORIGINAL/SAUER". Engraved forend release, triggerguard, tang and barrel release lever. The rear of the barrels near the breech are also scroll engraved in bands with single and double lines. The barrels have a raised solid tapered file cut rib with single large white bead front sight. The walnut pistol grip stock and forend are both skip line checkered with the butt stock having a black grip cap and sauer serrated butt plate and a shadow line cheek rest both of which show little wear. There is a leather sling with swivel mounts and the bores shine very bright. 14.5" L.O.P.. Drop at comb 1.75", at face 2.25", at heel 2.5" 11-4-9

brl length 4", semi auto, good plus condition, Complete with a pattern 1906 leather holster with takedown tool being ink marked underside of flap. 1906 Contract Manufact...moreured for the Royal Portuguese Army being 1 of approximately 5,000 in the contract. Top of chamber is marked with the "Royal Portuguese Crown/M2". The toggle is stamped with the DWM logo and the left side of the barrel extension, underside of barrel and rear of frame being marked with the Portuguese acceptance proof of a triangle in a circle. Full serial number present underside of barrel as well as front of frame with the last two digits present on rear face of toggle and underside of takedown lever. Traces of straw bluing present on safety and takedown levers, and trigger with the rest of the metal being blued showing some thinning mostly on some edges as well as left side of barrel with a few light areas of freckling and a small amount of pin point pitting of left side plate. Checkered wood panel grips show some light scuffs mostly right side panel with 1 magazine having a wood floor plate being nickel plated. Bore shines bright. 11-8-4

Walnut checkered grip panels showing light wear with a repaired crack to the top of the rear left panel. One magazine with wooden floor plate. Bore shines bright. 11-8-5

Winchester, Model 1892 China Navigation Co. SRC, .44 wcf, s/n 208019, carbine

Lot # 26 (Sale Order: 25 of 708)      

brl length 20", lever action, good condition, Rare China Navigation Company Ltd. carbine, the stock is marked on the left side at butt in a lined oval with a flag in cent...moreer just forward is another marking BS No 49 which is also stamped left side of receiver "B&S. II49" which stands for Butterfield and Swire the far eastern trading company of the same. The left side of barrel is also marked "CHINA NAVIGATION Co LTD" in a single line just ahead of receiver. With a Cody letter it is determined that this rifle left the warehouse on January 14th 1903 as part of order number 12162 which contained a total of 59 rifles in its shipment. Approximately 124 total Winchesters were ordered over a period of 8 years in 5 shipments to protect the fleet during the Russo-Chinese and Russo-Japanese war periods. The serial number and 3 line tang stamping are both present but faint as well as the barrel address. At some point the SRC has been reblued showing light flash pitting at a few spots top of barrel with minor handling marks in some areas. The top of bolt has no bluing present and there is a Marble's rear sight with a fixed front. The straight grip walnut stock and forend show wear with slight losses at the forend and receiver meeting point along with underside front of forend. Bore shines with nice rifling. Rare example of a China Navigation SRC. 11-5-24
