General Info
This lot is not for sale. We've been saving the best of what come in to bring you this high end gemstone auction. These gems are the finest in terms of cut, color and clarity. Every gem in this auction is fine enough to be set into a piece of Gold jewelry. We've pictured these stones in high magnification to give you the best idea of the quality. Because of this a lot of dust particles or fuzz show up in hi-mag pictures that you won't see in person. And some scuffing on the facet edges is also visible that isn't visible to the naked eye. These gems are almost all VVS clarity and jewelry grade. Most gemstones sold online are not jewelry grade. The cuts are poor and the color is washed out. Genuine, jewelry grade gems are expensive and rare, which is why most of the gems in this auction are rather small. We encourage you to compare our gemstones with other auction houses. You'll see a clear difference in quality. These gems are all cut to calibrated sizes to be used in jewelry. We've tried to put lots together that will be perfect for making jewelry pieces. That's why a lot of the lots are arranged into matched pairs and all the gems of standard, calibrated sizes. All gems sold in this auction are natural, mined from the earth gemstones, unless specifically labeled "Synthetic" in the title or description of the lot. When do our best to fully describe these gems, as well as any treatments they have. We don't try to pass off synthetics as the real thing. There are a lot of companies out there selling synthetics as genuine gemstones, so be careful where you buy. All of our gems are checked by a certified gemologist, and most have slight natural inclusions of some kind, verifying that they're real. We've attached a copy of the gemologist's certification and membership to the AGTA. Unlike many auction companies, we take extremely high magnification pictures to fully show the stone. Condition: New
This is a very fine example of a Neon Blue-Green Apatite. Apatite is a stone that very closely resembles Tourmaline. Most gemological tests can't differentiate between Apatite and Tourmaline, and so some sellers pass off Apatite as high quality Paraiba Tourmaline. This is an untreated stone.

Condition: New
Nice Yellow Sapphires. These stones may or may not have been color enhanced. It's tough to test smaller stones like this conclusively. But the clarity on each is very fine and they're a near match for color.

Very nice example of a Black Opal Doublet from Australia. Doublets are the most common form of Opals used in jewelry. A Doublet is a thin slice of natural Opal that has a hard backing attached to it for extra support.

Very nice color and clarity to this Ruby. This Ruby has been treated using lead bearing glass, which fills in the cracks, similar to how Emeralds are oiled. The fracturing filling improves the clarity and can also improve the color.
