An early report on the methods used in the mechanical production in the Ford plants. The authors 'worked with the direct co-operation of Henry Ford himself and of the Ford engineers. They had full access to the most intimate data of every department, and unstinted assistance in the preparation of illustrations and the compilation of figures. Originally published as a series in The Engineering Magazine.

Good overall condition, very slightly cracked hinge, cover has some small stains in one spot (see pic) inside pages suntanned at page ends. Really wonderful book. PLEASE NOTE - SOME OF THESE PRINTS LOOK SIGNED IN PENCIL - I CANNOT CONFIRM THIS BUT IT IS INTERESTING. WITH THE CUSTOM BINDING THAT HAS NOT BEEN LISTED ANYWHERE ELSE IT IS A POSSIBILITY - BUT DON'T BID ON IT BASED ON THAT - THANKS.

He traveled extensively during his long life and had important friendships with artists such as Georgia O'Keeffe, Ansel Adams and Harry Callahan. Good condition with dust jacket. The page ends have some soiling. Dust jacket has some sunning along edges.
