"A mixed media piece by the Florida-based artist Hannah Price. The piece displays a tortoise on a sandbar overlooking two turtles swimming in cobalt blue water. PAULE ST LAURENT ETCHING MIRAGE 71/175 SIGN FRAMED

Lot # 1007 (Sale Order: 7 of 702)      

Paule St-Laurent was born in Quebec City in 1948. She studied in Spain and California, started experiments in engraving in 1977. Opening her own studio in 1984, she still exhibits in Quebec, Montreal, and the US. This etching titled "Mirage" features a dragon dinosaur like creature with floral motif in background. Image measures 4 by 3 inches. Frame measures 11 by 10.5 inches. Signed, titled, and numbered to bottom in pencil on embossed paper. Information about artist and technique, along with business card attached to back. Very good condition.

BIRMINGHAM FRAMED PRINTS OUTSIDER ART CARL SALTER

Three framed prints by self-taught, outsider artist Carl B. Salter (1919-2005). The prints depict landmarks from Birmingham, Alabama, which was Salter's primary subject throughout his artistic career. These prints capture both the interior and exterior of a peanut depot (marked 73/250 and measures 23 3/4" by 31 1/4"), as well as The Alabama Theater, which is located and measures in the heart of downtown Birmingham (marked 290/500 and measures 23 1/4" by 26 1/4"). The pieces are in excellent condition.
