We are honored to bring you round 2 of 3 of the Ray Rayburn collection of microphones and sound equipment. Many collector items as well as more current technologies. Some rarely seen for sale anywhere! All will sell to the highest bidder. Mr. Rayburn is semi-retired and spending more time with his family in Texas. Mr. Rayburn has worked in the sound industry for decades. He began his career in the early 1960’s when much of today’s technology was being developed. He has collected an amazing assortment of equipment beginning in the early 1960’s. He has been a sound consultant for K-2 Audio, Cirrus Logic, Peak Audio and Sound First. He was recognized as a Fellow of the Audio Engineering Society “In recognition of your contributions to the art and science of sound system design, digital signal processing and routing, and electromagnetic compatibility.” Ray authored the third edition of “Eargles Microphone Book and wrote segments of the book- “Handbook for sound Engineers”. Coleman Powermate Pro-Gen 5000 9HP generator. Tested operable with accessories and 4 wheel dolly. New in 1999, has worked great and started on the first pull ever since. Fuel shut off under tank and run dry so the carb does not gum up. Comes with spares and engine service manual. From Ray Rayburn collection. Location = bay 2.
Akai 77 4 track stereo model GX-77.
This unit powers on and all the buttons work. Cosmetically the Lift up face has a chip off the side but is not noticeable from the front. Location = Top of rack 9.

A large 35x26x39" auditorium style loudspeaker. Untested. Location = bay 2.

1940 Master Reference Book for disc recordind #5 of 15.
RCA "Master Reference Book for Disc Recording" issued in February 1940 by the Recording Department, RCA Manufacturing Company, Inc. Camden, New Jersey, USA. This is the internal use only book that covers all the equipment used to produce sound recordings at RCA Studios worldwide as of February 1940. Only 15 copies of this book were ever made. This copy was issued to the studio in Hollywood, CA, and may be the only copy left in existance. From Ray Rayburn collection. Location = Top of Rack 10.
