We have been commissioned to sell this incredible one owner collection that has been housed near the Ohio River in Kentucky for several decades. The collection was purchased several decades ago with the understanding that the items were found in the walls of a home in Northern Kentucky. This historic collection has some incredible pieces from what is to believed to be the Mound Builder and Fort Ancient Indian tribes of the Woodland and Mississippian periods dating from 900 AD to 1400 AD who inhabited the Mid-West in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Tennessee and West Virginia. The collection contains bowls, vessels, pipes, statues, and animal and human effigy items.
